The hosts contacted us discretely during our stay, to check if there was anything we needed - which we didn't 😎 Parking was perfect too.. There was nothing to "..didn't like.."

• Helaina (10/5): Clean, Lovely, Well Located - It was the cleanest holiday property we have ever stayed in, absolutely immaculate We loved the view We were warm Had everything we needed Owners were very helpful All the things we liked far outweighed the things we didn’t Slightly outdated but was very comfortable Could do with salt & vinegar, fish & chips essentials!! A better pressure shower but I do know you’re never going to get that with electric but it was hot & plentiful No fire doors although again, this can’t be helped Better weather, ha ha!!

• John Wickerson (10/5): Probably one of the nicest summer holidays I've ever had! - Probably one of the nicest summer holidays I've ever had! Fantastic hosts -- extremely friendly and helpful, and easy to contact because they live on-site. Apartment is lovely throughout, and really exceptionally clean. Communal areas in the building are maintained to an extremely high standard -- it is clear that the hosts take their job very seriously. Stunning view over town and sea through the enormous bay window as you sit at the dining table. Bathroom is excellent -- large bath and plenty of storage. Kitchen is very well equipped. We were a family of four (two adults, 8-year-old, 2-year-old) and the apartment was ideal for our needs. Property is a 5-minute walk up a steep hill from shops and other amenities (Ilfracombe is extremely hilly). Car parking is excellent -- ample space for parking and maneouvring, and easily accessed. Missing one or two home comforts like my dishwasher and washing machine (though there's not really space for appliances like these). Having to remember to switch on (and off) the hot water heater is a mild annoyance. Double bed is fine but not spectacularly comfortable. Stove is electric, which is ok, but gas or induction are nicer for cooking.
• Aga (10/5): - The location was stunning – peaceful with breathtaking views, and just a short drive from local attractions and coastal walks. The accommodation was spotless, well-equipped, and super comfortable – it felt like a home away from home. Everything was exactly as described, if not better. The hosts were welcoming and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth and easy. We genuinely couldn’t fault a thing and would happily return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing break by the sea We liked everything 😊

The view from this apartment living room window is stunning every direction you look!The apartment itself is so cosy and impeccably clean, making for a truly unforgettable stay. The hosts were wonderful and left some tasty fudge and a little bottle of prosecco for our arrival. It was everything we wanted and more, sad we couldn't stay longer but we will definitely be back here again.

• Charlotte (10/5): Stunning views and lovely apartment. - We had such a wonderful stay in the ocean view apartment. The scenery from the main bedroom and living room/dining table area was absolutely stunning. The beds were soft and comfortable and a fluffy extra blanket on each bed was also supplied along with a bath towel and hand towel neatly folded by each bed. Everything was so clean and spotless. There was a hair dryer in the main bedroom drawers and a lovely bath/shower in the bathroom along with a heated towel rail. The kitchen was modern with all the utensils you could need, a gas cooker and an undercounter fridge/freezer. Little things like handwash, cleaning sponge, tea towel and washing up liquid are also supplied which In other places I've stayed I've normally had to buy those things myself so I was grateful to find a place that has them. There was also an ironing board and an iron of which I didn't use but I thought was a great addition. There was a small tv in the living room area which my son spent every night infront of happily watching. The carpets on the floors are very soft and thick so noise was very much minimal during the day, we barely heard anyone, and quiet hours were adhered to at night by other guests so we had a lovely quiet nights sleep every night. The owners are lovely and polite and friendly and we felt very much at home in this apartment. Arriving to a bottle of prosecco and a bag of yummy devon fudge as a gift was a nice touch and made us feel welcome. I would very much love to stay here again in the future and would recommend it to anyone.

We really appreciated the view from the bay window looking out over the town to the sea Every room has self closing fire doors, which although needed to comply with fire regulations are a pain.

(Didn't use TV so can't comment on that) Stunning views. Friendly chat with owners. Nothing to fault Nothing to fault. The steep climb up the roads, but worth it for the views!
