• Ana (9/5): A - The Anchor is very clean, superbly presented and well equipped with all essential items in the living room, bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. It is located in a quiet street and its proximity to pubs, shops and the old town is a bonus. The host is very helpful and accommodating. Sharing one bathroom amongst 4 adults, and a toddler requires some precision planning.

• Laurence (8/5): - The Anchor is a lovely property, bedrooms and bathroom are very comfortable and spacious. My grandchildren loved the wooden toys available. The Anchor is in a very central location, close to seafront, train station and old town The Anchor is across the (narrow) street from a pub, which could at times be noisy, although the music and chatter did stop at 11.30pm ish I guess the price one pays for being central

The location is fantastic, right in the city centre but very quiet and tucked away. Our hosts well exceptional and very easy and quick to communicate. Thank you so much and we will recommend to anyone coming to Hastings! Nothing. Loved our stay.

The location was unbelievably close to the excellent choices of pubs and restaurants. Would definitely go back here again. Excellent communication from the host if required. Super comfy beds. The bathroom is stunning, especially the bath. Couldn't ask for more from the hosts. Loved the welcome book & the guest book. Had literally everything you could need whilst being away. Super soft carpet. Absolutely loved the wooden train. We can't wait to book another trip.

Lisa is great and really informative before the booking, so much that she even messaged to let us know the place is ready earlier than check in time. The house is clean, well decorated and spacious enough for 6 people. Lots of stairs
• Barbara (10/5): Ideally located holiday home - Recently refurbished self check -in / out house right in the centre of Hastings. Has all the appliances you need, is very conveniently located within a very short walking distance of both the beach and old town, as well as the newer city centre and shopping mall. Very well insulated, so with the windows closed, you don't hear anything of the outside busy neighbourhood. Doesn't come with a parking space, but you can park in the nearby Pelham Place Car Park for 13£ per 24h.
