Guest Reviews
- Billy (8/5): Lovely property in a great location great value for money. - Querky.
Location excellent.
2 bathrooms was good.
Knowing the age of the property was a lovely experience to be in it. Cleanliness could have been better.
There was a slight smell to the property which we put down to age of the property opened the windows then wasn't so bad.
Struggled a little with the key in the door.
- Jaymie (6/5): Could've been lovely had the place been looked after. - The property was lovely and spacious, very comfortable beds and lovely rooms.
Great location, walking distance to the town.
Beautiful town, plenty to do. Very picturesque. Was very dirty, cobwebs everywhere, messy carpets, dead insects, ash all over the carpet from the fire place, clearly hadn't been cleaned for a while.
Rear door was a struggle to open, front door was dangerous, glass panel was hanging off.
No parking at all, had to park on double yellows and keep checking I haven't had a parking ticket.
- Jeff (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carol (9/5): Absolutely amazing! - It was beautiful and spacious Lack of parking.
- Hannah (1/5): Bad - Location It was incredibly cold when we arrived. Thermostat had run out of batteries and we spent hour on and off video calls with owner trying to sort it. Dirty rag left on side.
- Ceri (7/5): Good -
- Liberty (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jacqui (7/5): Lovely little house in a fab location.. just a little tired - Fab location
Very comfortable.. with a log fire & garden The bedding was dirty on arrival, had not been changed from previous visitors.
Towels were old & the house could do with a good clean.
- Joseph (10/5): Exceptional - Had an amazing stay in Arundel. The accommodation was in a great location with everything we needed accessible by foot. Comfy space with lots of room. Would stay again if we revisit
- Virginia (5/5): So much potential for the place to be exceptional - Location great. Only £90 so good for 1 night It was dirty. Beds were dirty, bins had rubbish in from the people before, hairs in the bathrooms in the bath/ showers. Generally had an old dirty smell, the pink furry sofa is nauseating. I’m sorry.
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Great location and very quiet, private house
- W (9/5): Cosy and spacious home close to Arundel Castle - Spacious and comfortable. Well heated when we arrived which was appreciated after hiking in the southdowns on a grey and drizzly day. Good kitchen and large table for dinner! Beds comfy as well. Lots of windows and the garden would be great on a summer's day. Clearly an old property in parts but nicely restored and felt very cosy. Parking on a Saturday night was tricky but to be expected given the location. Quite a few spiderwebs in the rooms/ceilings.
- Roche (7/5): Good -
- Maryanne (5/5): Passable - Great location. Spacious. Property was quite dirty. Bed sheets didn’t look fresh. Bed was a bit strange too - maybe a sofa bed although unsure exactly. Dirt on floor. Hairs in bath. Dirty skirting and walls.
- Amanda (9/5): Beautiful accommodation, great communication from the host, and an absolute MUST visit town. - Located in a BEAUTIFUL town, great location within walking distance from restaurants, shops and services. Property is very secure, although the town feels very safe anyway. Extremely warm, friendly and helpful locals. It was wonderful to have two bathtubs and we were welcomed with a bottle of wine which was lovely. Neil was very accommodating and easy to deal with. Really enjoyed our stay. Could be a little bit cleaner, but all amenities were great.
