- Melanie (10/5): Beautiful cozy gem, everything I needed in the one spot - This place was amazing, a little gem in Stroud. After a long day of driving this place came up. Was nothing I expected my children were very happy. Beds were so comfortable everything was spotless was very cozy. Great affordable place for a small family

- Michael (10/5): 10 out of 10. Would not hesitate to stay again. - Spotlessly clean,modern kitchen and bathroom with everything you need. A credit to the owners. Perfect location with cafes and pub close by. Nothing to complain about here.
- Dalice (10/5): The place was wonderful, comfortable but the road to Stroud from Buhladelah was horrendous. - Very comfortable and clean with all amenities we needed. The drive from Buhladela was awful. Very wind mountain road.
- christine (10/5): Great - How easy it was to get in Nothing to dislike,everything was great
- Melinda (10/5): Delightful cottage with wonderful verandah - we will be back! Hosts were just lovely. - Great little cottage in the centre of town. The accommodation was cosy and comfortable. Extremely clean. Incredibly quiet for being near the main road.
- Joanne (7/5): Good facilities and in an excellent location - While we didn't need them, there were full kitchen and laundry facilities. The bathroom was spacious. 2 good sized bedrooms. It was on the main street so we could walk to both dinner (the pub) and a lovely cafe for breakfast. The mattress and pillows weren't the most comfortable but quite adequate for an overnight stay.

- guo (10/5): Prefact - Our favorite house during the entire trip. It can cook, the room has a great feeling, and our family loves it. It has everything we need. There are many old photos and historical introductions of the town, which is really great. Five-star rating.
- Black (10/5): - Gas bottle for BBQ was empty
- Roy (10/5): - The property was beautifully maintained.
- Amy (6/5): Relaxing and cosy - Positives included:
* Host made contact day of to check arrival time, confirm they were ready for our stay;
* Property was walking distance to shops, cafes;
* The fire place was lovely given the time of year;
* Our dog was welcome. Potential areas for improvement for the property:
* Would have liked to see lawns mowed so we could have let the dog play in the yard, there were some sharp tiles, bricks and the grass was long so wasn't sure if it was safe for her under foot;
* It also wasn't clear if the backyard is shared with the neighboring properties incl. the pharmacist, other shops so wasn't sure if we could shut the gate and let the dog run around in the yard;
* What looked to be a toilet for the shops outside one of the bedrooms;
* House was nice, but smaller than what we had pictured was glad it was just the two of us as opposed to four as I had initially planned as would have been too cosy;
* Property was generally clean and tidy, but I needed to wipe down surfaces which had a few hairs etc;
* Fire place could use some 'fire starters' and a poster as to which direction to put the flu up / down plus firewood stocked to last the duration of the stay;
* Local area is relaxed and nice to walk around - traffic a little intense on the way there on a Friday night with cars bearing down a bit on vehicles not doing the speed limit or higher, hard when you're unfamiliar with the area, trying to identify turn off points.
- Lesley (9/5): Relaxing, clean, comfortable stay. - Well equipped. Comfortable, cosy. Good location. Needs a guide on using the cooktop and fire. Did not attempt the fire as I did not want to have to call the owner, even though we wanted to use the fire.
- Anonymous (8/5): Comfortable cottage in perfect location - Conveniently located in Stroud central, tucked behind shops and cafe. The Billy T cafe was an excellent spot for breakfast. The laundry mat also proved essential. The property has a woodfire, and the hosts provided wood, although we did need to source our own kindling to start the fire. We stayed during the recent floods and the hosts were so kind to check on us and keep us updated of local events.
The rain shower in the bathroom was fantastic! This property has all the essentials for a comfortable stay and being woken by a dawn chorus of kookaburra, magpie, rainbow lorrikeet, etc was magical. The surrounding businesses do start making noise around 5:40am, but you quickly adapt to that. The mattresses on the beds are probably due for renewal - some significant dips on one and the other could use a mattress topper to soften it up a bit.
- Ashley (10/5): Surprisingly comfortable place. A lot of thought has gone into making it comfortable. - Instructions for the bedroom TV . The Chromecast ? was all we needed , but it wasn't clearly labelled. BTW, volume control is on the side of the device. Nit picking really .

- Markcnz (8/5): Very good -

- Peter (10/5): Would love to spend 3 days in winter, bunkered down with a book, some red wine and some fire wood. - Location was exceptional. Central, could not be more positavely positioned.
Airy Bedroom, small touches like the Chocolates and stocked pantry for guests use.
Bathroom products high end, Soft large towels, appliances top quality. Nothing that We can think about in restrospect.

- Jennifer (9/5): Such a beautiful property right in the centre of town. It’s very neat and tidy and welcoming. - The property is in a great location and it has a wonderful layout. The outdoor area is fantastic .
We will definitely stay there again in the near future. The toaster isn’t working properly so it will need to be replaced which is a simple fix and the mattress on the bed in bedroom one is very very firm which could be easily sorted with a mattress topper.
- Peter (9/5): Superb -

- Samuel (8/5): Very good - Indoor fireplace and closeness to the town centre. Staff/ owners were terrific and very welcoming.
- Paul (8/5): Very good - Clean and comfortable. Warm with the ducted air conditioning. It was not a big issue, but there was firewood supplied, but no kindling available. But we did manage to have a nice warm fire anyway.
- Nicholas (10/5): Exceptional - Great house, great hosts. Fantastic location and wonderful town.
- Pam (8/5): Very good - Excellent cleanliness and well equipped. Very impressive. As an elderly person I found the shower tiles very slippery and also no railings to hang onto.

- Barry (8/5): Excellent - Property obviously had been renovated recently. Everything was modern comfortable clean and tidy. James has provided all facilities for one to have a great stay without any hassles. (Had I spent money renovating I would have put an en-suite off the main bedroom, however no problem as the property is advertised with only one bathroom) Great stay, had a function at the Old Monastery which is an amazing complex built by approx. 20 nuns. Definately worth checking out. Two toilets and shower would have improved the stay.
- Alison (10/5): Fabulous! - Beautiful and both spacious and cosy - a lot of thought has gone towards making a fabulous place to stay - mine was just one night stopover but would be excellent base to stay longer if exploring the area
- Sheila (8/5): convenient for my stay - great pub over the road very friendly staff ants appeared but the owner was very obliging in attending to this issue promptly

Also the location is fantastic. You can walk to the Showground and all the cafe’s and the Pub. Couldn’t have asked for anything more.
