Guest Reviews
- Annette (6/5): If it’s the last available….theres a reason! - Easy access. Good hot shower! Good cooking facility. Heater/air con. Our cabin - ensuite door would not stay closed and no latch/lock/hook to keep it closed. Water tap over sink was only a dribble! Huge crack in bedroom wall adjoining next door cabin! Very poor maintenance!
- Katrina (8/5): -
- Tamara (6/5): Ok - Not very much No wifi, expired coffee, no proper customer service
- Amanda (5/5): It’s cheap and cheerful but not ideal - Neat room Steps and road noise
- William (10/5): We only stayed one night but all good - Location was great
- Andrew (8/5): I will be back - The cabins are always clean and tidy so great when you need a place to rest. I will continue to stay here on my trips to Northam.
- Dow Murtagh (2/5): - Good location It was very cold during the night and the mobile home was facing the opposite of the sun.
- Petrea (9/5): -
- Andrew (5/5): - A simple cabin for the first night, parking outside the door. Cabin needed a bit of maintenace, ie cracks in wall joins
We extended the stay for another night and had to relocated to a different cabin. When we arrived back to get our new cabin at 4pm no one present in the office and pick key up from a box outside the office. Upon entering the room and when operating the TV there was not reception of any channels. When called the outside of hours phone, we were told that there was nobody to fix the issue. Also we found out there was not internet. This room was over double the price from the previous one.
- Kyra (7/5): - I liked how quiet it was I purchased 3 suites thinking they'd be similar for each couple who booked but they were completely different and at different levels of comfort which was strange considering they were the same price.
- Sam (8/5): Perfect for my very limited needs, and comfier than expected. - Exactly what I needed when working late out in Buckland and needing somewhere to overnight. Even the lower-budget options were comfy conversions.
- Christy (7/5): -
- Mugdha (5/5): -
- Halphon95 (7/5): - Convenient location, clean and comfortable rooms, staff member was friendly and helpful. On arrival there was noone in the office and the phone wasn't being answered.
- Michelle (5/5): Okay - Convenient to where we needed to be No dish towels to dry dishes asked for more toilet paper was given the third degree
- Marc (5/5): -
- Llew (5/5): Disappointed in the room but thankful to get accommodation. - Location to day venue was good. Bed was very comfortable. Tiny room without cupboards to store clothes or inside table to prepare food for breakfast. No where to hang towels in the bathroom. Shower screen door was difficult to open. Hanging rail for clothes was held by a two 15 mm screws that fell out of the cup holder.
Insufficient cutlery for 2 persons and only one cup for beverage.
- ed (2/5): The unit was small especially for aged people, and not being able to shower before our Rotary function. - It was as close to our function We had no hot water, we told there was no other accommodation at the park hence we had to find other accommodation ( we were offered the ablution block but after paying $200.00 per night we needing facilities) also we were not told the unit had three steps with no hand rail , we are 79 & 84 and found it difficult to manoeuvre the steps .
- Simon (3/5): - Train line proximity
- Anthony (2/5): Give this one a miss - We decided to leave early. The bedding was dirty, ants in the room and the overall bed, pillows etc were uncomfortable.
The night train was noisy and the soundproofing of the accomodation wasn’t good.
- Ann (5/5): The deluxe four bedroom house was ideal for our stay but needs some TLC for the next stay - The deluxe four bedroom house was ideal for our stay for four individuals occupying each bedroom and sharing the two bathrooms. - The extractor fan above the kitchen hot stove requires cleaning and in its present state poses a potential fire hazard
- Install a Fire Extinguisher in the kitchen
- Provide an Information package containing Emergency Muster Point
- Small ants were present in the kitchen, bathrooms and in some bedrooms
- Rodent poo was present in some kitchen cupboards
- Cockroach poo was noted in the bedroom nearest the entrance
- Seat covers on the chairs in the Dining area were dirty
- There should be enough cutlery and crockery for eight people, i.e. four couples (currently there are only 2 bowls)
- Susanne (6/5): Ok - Bed linen clean and beds comfortable.
Toilet and bathroom clean. Carpets were filthy and I mean filthy.
TV antenna wasn’t connected properly so TV picture was static all the time. Cracked glass was put away in cupboard very lucky didn’t break completely when I used it.
- David (5/5): -
- joshua (8/5): - Comfort
- Jenny (5/5): Het was te doen - Dicht bij de receptie, erg gehorig.
Weinig privecy
Muis in de kamer
- Jean (7/5): Good for overnight stay - Clean and comfortable Our unit adjoined neighbouring unit. The walls are thin, neighbours awake early, we could hear their conversations very clearly.
- Kirsty (8/5): Clean, comfortable and with all the amenities needed for a short stay. Will return on my next work trip. - Stayed in one of the cabins. It was small but more than enough for a single traveller. It was clean and quiet and had everything I needed. Nothing. Will stay again.
- JO (7/5): slightly under average overall - very clean air-conditioning control button too difficult to understand and no information provided.
ant problem in unit with no products to manage them
location of the unit was in front by the road. outside traffic noise too loud - would have preferred being further back
- Aimee (3/5): -
- Heather (7/5): - comftable beds pillows a bit hard we had ants in the room (10b)
floors were dirty
- Tom (9/5): -
- Ronnice (6/5): Friendly staff, cabin clean and modern. - No shade over glass sliding door or windows. The steps were unsuitable for older people and there is no handrail support each side making it dangerous.
- Wendy (2/5): Never again. - Location After travelling from one side of Aus to the other this was the worst. The bed was up against the wall. So only 1 person could watch the tv. If you sat at the table in the alcove called the kitchen area you would be bum sore and you would have a sore neck from trying to watch tv. It was the most expensive of all our accommodation. No where to put your luggage.
- Joanne (7/5): -
- Glen (7/5): -
- Dawn (8/5): -
- Kyle (10/5): -
- Michael (4/5): I wouldnt recommend staying for that price. - Close to town $200 a night to stay in a box. It is called a "superior" studio, but that makes me wonder what the normal studio is like. Very small, freezing box with no insulation. Could not cook anything as there is no burner, only a anko brand induction cooker that did not work with our pan or the one that was in the room. Because of this we had to go to the camp kitchen and heat our pans on the BBQ. Water is very cloudy and stinks, I understand it is bore water which is fine if the room was cheaper and if other amenities were provided. The shower does not have anywhere to even put your soap. You need to hold it for the duration of the shower. There was a used soap bar on top of the glass. I guess the previous guest had the same problem.
- Eric (9/5): - Clean and calm Cost effective
- Chantelle (4/5): - We woke up with ants all through the bed and the house
- Michelle (8/5): - It was a very nice and tidy caravan park.
Our cabin was good. It was spacious and beds were comfortable. Reasonable cooking amenities, however fridge abit small.
Nice outdoor table and chairs and I liked how I could park my car right outside the door. I thought the indoor kitchen bin was too small.
It was also abit dusty under the double bed.
- Leonie (7/5): - Spacious well appointed rooms, large living area.
- Jemma (10/5): -
- maccaDavid (6/5): - Helpful manager Room was smaller than we had expected
- Yvonne (10/5): -
- Tracey (4/5): -
- Zoe (5/5): It was okay but not as advertised on the booking. I let them know and the lady said unfortunately that’s what happens - Location It wasn’t as advertised
- Rochelle (8/5): Great weekend away - Location to Ballooning No flyscreens, split blinds would be helpful
- Sachi (3/5): Good location but not the best amenities - Location Not enough towels, no hand towels for bathroom, cold/ not very pressurized shower, bed sheet should’ve been fitted as it kept moving off the bed, noisy neighbors.
- Deborah (6/5): Disappointing - Large quiet park. Friendly staff. Floors of the cabin were not clean. Scattered residue in the corners of the room. The cabin was tiny and there was nowhere to sit other than the bed. We asked to be moved to a larger cabin but could not find any. When we packed up we looked under the bed and found 2 old plastic bottles and heaps of dust bunnies there. Shower stalls were stained yellow. The brick pavers out side were crumbling and dangerous. The veranda was high and the Step down was not safe
- OLDSPICE (8/5): -
- Gillian (5/5): Good - Nice facility The train line in the night was noisy
- Roma (3/5): Great location - The location was great. The unit was extremely cold. The wall aircon/heating was noisy and you could have it running all the time and you could feel the wind coming through the gaps of the air conditioning unit. Under the bed was Extremely dusty and there was old ear plugs under bed.
- Robyn (7/5): -
- Terina (7/5): -
- Sharon (3/5): Poor - Some of the villas have been divided into two so they are tiny compared to others. Ours had sewer issues as well. Got moved to a nicer bigger one the next day that was vacant all along and matched the booking description and photos.
- Annette (10/5): Perfect for our weekend trip to Northam balooning - Absolutely exceeded expectations for room 102. Definitely would come back Suggest more signage and sheers /and tinting on windows especially near the bath! We had people knocking on our door thinking we were the office. Hanging rail for clothes would be useful too as know where to hang anything.
- Fuzzylogic (10/5): Luxury in the Heart of Northam - Lovely space to run around - large dining area and connected lounge room. Huge bathrooms. Comfortable beds, extremely warm heaters and fast hot water. The garden is shared with another house - it worked for us, but I can imagine if there were other kids in that home, there may be a fight for space. No basic kitchen condiments (salt, pepper, oil).
- Brooks (10/5): Absolutely Brillant Stay - Gardens well maintained and well looked after. The lady running the front desk was very lovely and kind.
- Malcolm (8/5): The stay was good, no noisey people, parking ok, not far to town centre and shops and amenities . - They do not sale or cater for food, room could be bit bigger, TV was watched laying on your side, should be at bottom of bed.
- Hanisha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mercy (7/5): Good - Location Too cold not enough blankets
- Van (7/5): Enjoyed the stay. - Neat and clean Too close to the main road and train tracks.
- Megan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leon (9/5): Superb -
- Clint (9/5): Superb -
- Jorge (5/5): Passable -
