• Anuradha (7/5): - Great Location, Comfortable Stay I stayed at Marina Way for 5 nights and had a pleasant experience overall. The location was fantastic—right on the main Arugam Bay stretch, just steps away from the beach & restaurants. The room was good—clean, and had all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was great, and the AC worked well, which was a relief in the heat. Overall, I’d recommend Marina Way. Great value for the price, especially if you want to be in the heart of Arugam Bay. However, the one big downside was the lack of hot water in the shower. But if you don't mind a cold shower, this is a good spot!

• K.hamel (9/5): Cozy place in Arugambay - Nice and cozy accomodation, nearby the main street but the rooms are quietly located in the backyard. AC, Bed and interior of the room were new and clean. Shops, beach, and restaurants are all close by. The Backyard is a nice place for having breakfast, chilling in one of the sofas, or having a drink at the bar. Staff and owner are really kind/attentive persons :) Unfortunately the bar was not yet opened (season just started), so I couldn't try the drinks or having a chat with other guests - But its ok, that would've been uneconomic ;-) The owner told me, he would have some gathering barnights there, when the season is running
• Michèle (10/5): Exceptional - amazing place to stay, right at the street with all the restaurants..but still quiet to sleep, close to the beach, in a area with trees and natural shade.. so its quite fresh .. they were also very helpful in organizing our nightbus back to colombo.
• Elisa (10/5): Great hotel at great location! - The hotel was so close the the beach, it made it super easy to go enjoy. The other end of the street were many great restaurants. Location was perfect!! The hotel does a really great job to present a clean room when there is so much sand entering hotel! The host was great, super friendly and always up for a chat or to offer advice. N/A
• Mathura (10/5): Great rooms and lovely staff! - We really enjoyed our stay at Marina Way Hotel. The hotel is 50 meters from the beach, where you can have sunbeds for free . JJ is adviced us a tuk tuk safari, which we recommend. Cheaper than a national park and you still see a lot of animals (crocodiles, peacocks, elephants, birds) and other stuff. We used to wake up at 5:30, go down the beach for the sunrise and then come back to sleep for some hours. With this position you can do that. clean, lovely staff, good location, comfortable, great price👍🏻 -
• Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location, less than 100m from the beach, the room has all you need: private bathroom, WiFi, air-con and multiple charging points. The welcome drink was welcome and the staff are absolutely lovely! If you want to go surfing up at Elephant Rock, they will (for a small fee) even take you up there, in a tuk-tuk :) N/A
• Alina (10/5): Lovely - Amazing location, you are really made to feel at home by the wonderful friendly hosts, incense makes the place smell lovely and feel calm, close to lots of restaurants and of course the beach, the room was comfortable would definitely stay here again!

• Angelina (9/5): Perfect room for relaxing - Booked for 2 nights and extended to 5. Location for me was perfect. At the quieter end of the main street and very close to the beach. Room was very spacious as was the bathroom. Nice outside space too. Half way through my stay my room got cleaned and sheets changed which was nice. There is also a kitchen if you want to prepare any food or just keep fruits in the fridge. There was a tap just for drinking water which is great in reducing plastic bottle usage. I got sick my last day and the manager was very sweet in offering help. The only thing I'd say is the WiFi didn't always work but because I had a data plan I didn't bother to check what the issue was. I'm sure it could have been sorted though.

• Antonina (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, close to the beach and supermarket with a place where you can park your scooter. Our host was extremely nice and helpful. There was an Internet outage because of the storm the previous day, so he charged our Sim cards with extra GB.
