Music ok, but revellers yelling and being noisy after closing was annoying

We were offered an upgrade, which was a lovely surprise and given room no. 1, which is a beautiful apt.. everything you would need with a fabulous view. Plus, we asked for a late check out, which was given freely late. Highly recommend this property to anyone thinking of visiting Kinsale. Thank you, Jacqueline. we will be back for sure 😊

• John (5/5): Nice hotel in good location but avoid the small double room if there are 2 of you! - Overall this is a nice place to stay - really good location and nicely appointed rooms Do not stay in Room 7 if there are 2 of you. It is really small and the bed in particular is described as a double but it must be a small double as it was really small for two of us. Great room as a single but not really suitable for 2
• Kerry (10/5): Great hotel. - Fantastic hotel, very straightforward on checking in, The room we had was a studio which was very clean/modern & well equipped with great views of the square, great bar underneath us which yes there was some noise but once the bar was closed it was quiet pretty quickly so didn't bother us. Liked it all, no issues.

• Shannon (8/5): Great for an out all night and crash pad kind of situation - Great location- and budget friendly- tho I never saw the host alas she was always very responsive to messages and everything was very clean I already knew I was above a pub on a weekend so it would’ve Louis until 12:30 👍🏻 what I did not feel comfortable with was the door to the accommodation was open with a path tap goers went thru all night and the “ supposed secure pin entry only door “ which everyone in the pub passed was also always open - there was no security from the pub or the public up to my rooms door - this made me very uncomfortable knowing ANYONE could come up at anytime and my bathroom to use was located across the hall and down a bit so not knowing who was going to come up at any given time time made it hard to relax or want to utilize the toilet in the late evening- in two days I’d say I slept maybe 6 hours bc I felt I always had to be aware - and the top accommodation had dogs and I love dogs but several times the jus let them run from the top floor to the second and they would be running and barking thru my hallway at my door and I had no idea where the owner was bc I never heard a human voice so again I was Leary to step out to strange dogs not knowing if they would feel threatened by me - so long story short the price is great and if it was secure I think I’d felt differently- if you want this kind of adventure it’s grand - formed would chose differently next time - this is more of a go out all night have a clean place to stay with great location- if you want to feel secure and comfortable and get a bit of sleep I’d say chose another route a I must say the best part of my stay was the reference by the host to ring FLASH the car hire guy he was LOVELY it was a 65euro ride to cork bus station but it was comfortable safe precise timing and grand conversation the entire way

• Peters (8/5): Very comfortable - It was very clean, right beside shops and places to eat, had everything you could need and more in the apartment, heating was very good Was hard to find parking and was very noisy until about 2am with people leaving the pub downstairs, we still had a great stay and had a great sleep when the noise cleared

INCREIBLE - This is a hidden gem in KINSALE, when i arrived the lovely owner text me to make sure i had all in the information i needed even went as fair recommending place to eat, the room its self was outstanding it was so clean and fresh the decor was something you see in a magazine, i had my dog with me another bonus, i cant wait to come back here again one of the nicest place i have stay in a long time Nothing it was PERFECT !!

• Ann Marie (10/5): Loved the room, the host Jaqueline couldn’t do enough for us. - Noise although we were warned in advance and as I known the area very well it wasn’t unexpected. Unfortunately I didn’t stay the night and decided to drive home. It was the day of the all Ireland final so more noisy than usual. Also my dog kept reacting to noise and I felt it wouldn’t be fair on the rest of the guests if I stayed. Again no fault of the hosts.

The only small thing I would mention is because it’s situated so close to a very lively bar you would get a little bit of noise but if that doesn’t bother you the rest is great.

• Brendan (10/5): Nice, central accommodation. - Nice, quiet room. I was attending a concert at The White Lady and wanted nearby affordable accommodation. I had booked a basic single room and was allocated to room 2. On the day of arrival, Jacqueline texted me if I received the code, she offered me room 7 or 9 as they had ensuites for no extra charge. I guess for the time of year in December, Kinsale had a low tourist season so there was a low occupancy rate at the property, judging by the keys left on the doors on unoccupied rooms. As Google maps appeared to be inaccurate, I rang Jacqueline who sent me on a Google picture of the property. It was great that she was a text or phone call away. Television had a good variety of channels and apps but I did not use it much. Pillows a little bit soft.

• Anthony (9/5): - Really nice apartment in a great location. When we got there check in was easy and the apartment was presented really clean. Bed was a little small for our liking but no so bad that we wouldn't stay again.
• Ciaran (8/5): V - The location was excellent and I really liked the extra effort made in providing herbal tea bags and chocolate bars. I liked the ease of 'checking in' and out. The room was really nice and cosy despite being so small. I'm a sensitive sleeper and there's a slight slope on the floor in number 7 which I think affects the bed being not level and the mattress was very lumpy, could be just that I am such a sensitive sleeper. Everything thing was spotless though and I enjoyed my very brief stay.

It was a suoe confortable and beautiful apartment with everything we needed....tea coffee fridge hairdryer and an amzing shower. Jackie was so friendly to us and our labrador dog and let us know of all the pet friendly locations to eat. Couldnt recommend highly enough..it was fabulous Cant think of anything
