• Matt (8/5): Peaceful and pretty get away with a few local bars and restaurants to tie you over. - The villa staff were in contact before we arrived and were waiting for use on arrival. They were very friendly and always came on time to cook breakfast and clean. The villa itself is lovely and hidden a little way up the mountain, close to two fairly new beach clubs. Perfect for a quiet get away with friends or family. The doors to the living room were difficult to open/close and lock. The bathroom in the middle bedroom (which fortunately we did not need to use) seemed to have a strong smell coming from the sewage system, I am guessing because there are no traps on the pipes. This wasn't a problem in the other two rooms.

• Siegemund (10/5): A beautiful experience/stunning villa - The villa is stunning! It's beautifully decorated, very comfortable, spacious and very clean. Loved that all 3 bedrooms had their own ensuites. It has beautiful gardens, a perfect pool and is very well maintained. Our host was exceptional - he collected us seamlessly from the boat (on arrival, and organised our bookings and transport on departure). He organised scooters, a private boat charter to see the mantarays and fantastic marine life at Nusa Penida (highly recommended), and was on hand for anything else. Breakfast was delicious! Very highly recommend. The villa is very quiet and tucked away, which is great, but unless you have a scooter, it feels a bit isolated. Our host did organise them for us, but it was our decision not to use them as we didn't think it was all that safe for our teenage daughter (she'd not driven one before). That said, on our snorkelling day we were collected door to door, and there's a great local warung just 100m or so down the road. Yet it didn't affect our stay, and we would definitely recommend this beautiful villa.
• Rudy (10/5): Een verblijf dat door de warmte en hulp van Thansil vanaf begin tot eind als thuiskomen voelde (easy - Ons verblijf op Lembongan was werkelijk fantastisch. Vanaf het eerste moment heeft onze gastheer Thansil ons een geweldig welkom gegeven. Hij haalde ons persoonlijk op bij het haventje en zorgde ervoor dat onze koffers veilig naar de andere kant van de Gele Brug werden gebracht. Daarna begeleidde hij ons naar de villa, die een schitterende, volgroeide en supermooie tuin heeft waar we enorm van hebben genoten. Het zwembad was perfect om heerlijk in af te koelen. Thansil nam uitgebreid de tijd om ons direct wat van het eiland te laten zien, inclusief een paar van de mooiste plekjes. Hij regelde meteen een reservering voor ons zodat we de mooiste zonsondergang van heel Lembongan konden bewonderen. Voor alles wat we nodig hadden konden we bij hem terecht. Hij is vriendelijk, attent, betrokken en echt iemand die je volledig ontzorgt. Niks is teveel gevraagd en dat maakt het verblijf extra waardevol. De villa zelf is ruim en gezellig, met drie slaapkamers en drie badkamers en van alle gemakken voorzien. De bedden sliepen heerlijk en het ontbijt was uitzonderlijk lekker. We hebben iedere ochtend echt genoten. Eigenlijk helemaal niets. Alles klopte en de prijs is het meer dan waard. Het was een verblijf dat we iedereen kunnen aanraden. Toekomstige gasten gaan hier gegarandeerd met een goed gevoel verblijven, zeker als ze door zo’n fijne gastheer als Thansil verwelkomd worden.

We loved meeting the owner and his wife, who prepared a delicious and generous breakfast for us every morning. There is nothing negative to say the only difficulty we had was leaving the villa and this wonderfully warm and welcoming family 🤎

Advice to rent scooter, to give you more flexibility. The owner will help you with it. We had some problems with our showers but thats due the storm. The owner quickly fixed it. Which was great!

Every detail was well thought out, the hosts were remarkable organising our transport from previous accomodation to the villa, great communication, helped us to organise spa treatments which we enjoyed at the villa, snorkelling tours and great advice generally to make our stay on Ceningan such a great time! The breakfast was exceptional! There was nothing to complain about at all.
• Elisabeth (10/5): Traumurlaub auf Ceningan- easy 😉 - Die Villa ist super ausgestattet zu 100% wie auf den Bildern, absolut traumhaft. Man hat drei Schlafzimmer mit jeweils eigenem Bad und Klimaanlage und ein Wohnzimmer mit Küche, nicht zu vergessen ein kleiner, liebevoll gestalteter Garten mit Pool. Ein riesengroßes Dankeschön an Thansil und seine Frau und an den Angestellten, die uns jeden Tag ein Frühstück gezaubert haben und sich auch sonst super um uns gekümmert haben. Thansil hat den Transport für uns organisiert und auch die Ausflüge bestens organisiert und uns alles gezeigt. Ein großer Dank auch noch für das leckere Abendessen! Vor der Villa kann man sogar das Meer sehen und der Strand und Warungs und Restaurants sind I nur 10 Minuten Fußweg zu erreichen. Wir hatten einen traumhafte Zeit und kommen sehr gerne wieder! -

De villa is met liefde en zorg onderhouden en een hele fijne plek om te verblijven. ‘‘s ochtends werd ontbijt voor ons gemaakt. Via Thansil ook scooters gehuurd. Wij vonden Nusa Ceningan veel leuker, relaxter en mooier dan Nusa Lembongang waar de meeste toeristen nog heengaan. Daar is het veel drukker. Omdat de villa aan andere kant van de Yellow Bridge ligt waar geen auto’s overheen kunnen stond Thansil ons al op te wachten en zorgde ervoor dat al onze koffers naar de overkant gingen. Daar had hij vervoer naar de villa geregeld. Super netjes geregeld en wij hadden geen omkijken! We hebben er een heerlijke rijd gehad met scooteren over het eiland, prachtige sunsets, mooie baaien, beachclubs zijn nog niet te druk en daardoor relaxed en mooi! Niets

• Debby (10/5): Dream location with excellent value for money - What a dream location! We spent a few nights at Alas Villa on Nusa Ceningan and honestly, we didn’t want to leave. The villa is a little slice of paradise, peaceful, beautifully designed, and super comfortable. What really sets this place apart is the personal service. Thansil, the owner, is incredibly kind and takes care of everything. We booked the transfer arrangement through him in advance – highly recommended! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish, completely hassle-free. We also booked a snorkelling trip through him, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our stay – beautiful, relaxing, and affordable. Definitely make time to eat at Arna as well. The view is stunning, the setting is lovely, and the food is fantastic. They’ll even pick you up and drop you off at the villa. Especially if you’re travelling with younger children and don’t want to rent a scooter, Alas Villa is a great option. In short: if you’re in doubt, just book it. This was a worry-free and wonderful experience we won’t forget anytime soon. Nothing
• Joris (9/5): zeer aangename villa met mooie buitenruimte - zeer aangename villa. mooie buitenruimte met 100% privacy. ontbijt (verschillende opties) wordt elke dag vers bereid in de villa. vanaf de villa kan je wandelen naar het strand en naar de blue lagoon, vlakbij liggen ook een aantal lokale en meer op toeristen gerichte restaurants en kleine supermarkten. de host haalt je op bij de ferry en zorgt voor de transfer naar de villa (wij hadden veel bagage bij). de tours die je bij de host kan boeken (snorkelen, nusa penida,...) zijn prima georganiseerd (maar wellicht wel wat duurder dan wanneer je het zelf zou regelen). in de kamers is er weinig ruimte om je bagage te zetten. de transfer naar de luchthaven op onze laatste dag was prima georganiseerd door de host, alleen was me niet gezegd dat de betaling (bij aankomst aan de luchthaven) enkel cash kon gebeuren: dat had ik wel graag vooraf geweten. in de badkamer van 1 kamer ontbrak een douchescherm.
• Mai (10/5): Absolute Paradise - Alas Villa is a paradise within paradise itself. My Husband and I stayed here for 3 weeks and just couldn't get enough. The villa itself is phenomenal. Thansil and his wife are the most accommodating owners we have had the pleasure of meeting, they cooked us breakfast each morning, organised our scooter, organised our transfers and even organised massages in the Villa from the local spa. We can't wait to come back next year!

• Victoria (10/5): Wonderful stay on Ceningan made perfect by the staff - Our stay at Alas Villa was incredible! The villa itself is fantastic but Thansil and his family are what really makes the experience special. From booking and almost immediately hearing from Thansil offering to assist in travel from Bali to Ceningan, through to check out this morning, everything was wonderful. Thansil arranged a scooter for us, booked us a private snorkelling tour and sunset cruise (highly recommend), arranged pick up and drop off for an afternoon at Suku Beach Club, and took time each morning to have a chat and offer any assistance we might need. Coffee, fresh juice, and a delicious cooked breakfast every morning was the perfect way to start each day. The villa is well maintained and a great size, with plenty of room and a beautiful pool. It’s located on a quiet road only used by a few locals and people heading to Secret Beach. Perfect for the chill holiday we wanted. Thank you Thansil and family!! You’re wonderful and we can’t thank you enough for your hospitality. Will absolutely be recommending to anyone travelling to Bali/Lembongan and hopefully we’ll be back soon too.

Such a beautiful new villa that is located close to many great places though still had lots of privacy. Barely any noise being able to enjoy the peaceful setting when relaxing by the pool. The gardens and swing was a massive plus. The breakfast was very good we had it at the villa every morning. If staying in Ceningan again would hands down be staying here again. Nothing, everything was perfect!

It’s exactly like in the pictures. Everything is brand new since the villa opened in 2023. They offered to clean our rooms everyday. Dear Jack, thank you for being such a wonderful host. You were always there for us and organised everything so well. There were no wishes you didn’t fulfill. Also your staff was so nice and gentle. They made our breakfast every day fresh in the villa and they even responded to our special requests. It was fresh, yummy and so good. Jack, thank you for being super attentive and even bringing things like aloe Vera or special wishes to us;) Also the surfing and the private snorkeling trip was amazing!! Thansil organised everything down to our fishing trip and even helped us cook the fish for dinner over the bbq at the Villa. We did not want to leave and are looking forward to staying here again! It was a nice touch that the staff cooked for us in the kitchen every morning- gave such a homely feel. Make sure you go to see Thansil sing, it topped our stay!

They went above and beyond to make sure that we had an incredible experience. They organised our transport to and from the Villa which made our travel days hassle free. They also organised different experiences for us whilst staying on the island including a motorbike tour around the island. Vera made the most delicious breakfasts and made us feel very welcome and comfortable within their Villa. I don’t think this experience will ever be topped. We will definitely be coming back. 11/10 recommend to everyone coming to Nusa Ceningan to stay at Alas Villa you will not be disappointed. The rooms were well sized and very clean (the linen was to die for!), the tv and lounge room was great and the kitchen had good amenities, the big bonus for us was being able to watch tv whilst sitting in the pool. The other great thing was how many things were within walking distance including a small convenience store, secret point beach, mahana point, ARNA and Suku beach clubs. • Marianthe (10/5): Amazing bright clean villa with an attentive and supportive host. - We liked the bright airy feel of the Villa and it’s cleanliness and the attention to detail with respect to the room set up and the breakfasts offered. It’s quiet yet close enough to the funky cafes and bars. Our host Thansil was an amazing person who couldn’t do enough for us. He picked us up from the port. He showed us through the property. He tended to the garden. He organised our snorkeling tour along with the transport to and from the boat. He took me to the money exchange and ATM on the back of his bike at no extra cost. He ensured that we were safe and well cared for. On our day of departure, he organised our transfer to our next destination on Nusa Lembongan. Nothing was too much trouble for him.

• May (10/5): Amazing villa, perfect location and the best staff - After three months in Indonesia, this has got to be one of the best villa accommodations! Tenzel and the staff took such great care of our group, organising transport, information and anything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed the pool and so much outdoor space to relax and enjoy meals. The location was perfect, very quiet and close walking distance to the mini marts and beach club with access to the beach. Everything in the villa was so clean and every day they cooked an amazing breakfast for us. If we needed extra water or anything, he came right away. Cannot thank you enough for making us feel so at home and providing us with a great stay and experience! Having to leave 🥲
