- Alison (10/5): A great place to stay with everything you need - A lovely place to stay, close to amenities. The Gaydon is well located near to the beach. The hosts, Kate and Keith were very welcoming and hospitable. It is run very efficiently and all the information you needed was at hand in the folder kept in our room. The room was very comfortable, clean with tea/coffee and biscuits and a TV. Toiletries were also provided in the en-suite. The breakfast was also good and you could eat as much as you wanted so no need to have an early lunch! We would definitely recommend a stay here. No problem with parking either.

We were warmly welcomed by our hosts Keith &Kate and were made to feel very welcome. Our room was well appointed with all the amenities you could ask for. We especially enjoyed reading the very informative guest information booklet which was great for getting to know the local area and different attractions. The free breakfast was very much welcomed; there was an excellent choice of good quality hot and cold food with an endless supply of toast and coffee. This was our first stay at the Gaydon and it will not be our last. Nothing that we didnt like

- Vikki (10/5): Amazing stay with fab hosts - We stayed at the Gaydon for a weekend the end of April. Before arriving we had excellent communication with the hosts regarding arrival time. When we arrived we were greeted by Keith and Kate. We were shown to our room which was absolutely gorgeous on the top floor. She showed us a book that had all the places of interest around the area, restaurants and bars etc. Really really helpful! Kate and Keith are just the best hosts! They can’t do enough for you. The room was beautifully decorated and absolutely spotlessly clean. It was well equipped with a kettle, tea coffee, milk sachets and even scissors to open them. The breakfast is amazing. Best breakfast I’ve had. Not an ounce of grease or fat. Plenty to choose from. Cereals, yoghurts, muffins, fruit, orange juice, apple juice, water, tea, coffee, full English, or if you want something they can also do that too! Complimentary sherry of an evening too which is a lovely touch! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend here. There’s a sign at the bottom of the stairs too, which I think is really nice as it’s true! It’s says “arrive as guests and leave as friends. Thanks so much Keith and Kate!

Comfortable, quality super king bed, bed linen and towels( latter changed daily) Spacious bedroom and en-suite. TV, hairdryer, plenty of tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc and complimentary sherry of an evening downstairs. Beautifully cooked, delicious breakfasts with good choice. Cereals, toast, tea and good coffee, fresh fruits, yoghurts and homemade muffins. Quality crockery. Excellent location, minutes from the Esplanade. The purpose of our visit was to attend ballroom competition at Blackpool Winter Gardens. We prefer to stay in Lytham St Annes as it is such a charming little resort and only a short drive from Blackpool. Keith and Kate are the perfect hosts- such lovely, friendly people. Nothing is too much trouble to them and they ensure that their guests have the best experience. Fantastic work ethic. We will definitely return and highly recommend. Nothing to dislike

I’ve visited a lot of hotels and b & bs around this area to visit family, and not one of them compares to here. The Gaydon is exceptionally clean, the breakfast is wonderful and the rooms are beautifully decorated. Thank you so much for a first class stay and I can’t wait to book with Kate and Keith again. Not a single thing.

- Gary B (10/5): Lovely little B&B - The Gaydon was a wonderful little B&B set away from the centre of town on a quite street that fronted up to the main promenade and beach. The hosts, Keith and Kate couldn't have been more accommodating. The breakfasts they provided were top notch with plenty to choose from, fresh fruit, choice of cereal and many different choices on the cooked breakfasts along with a choice of tea, coffee or fruit juice. The room we stayed in was very well presented with a large bed with freshly laundered bed linen daily. The bed itself was super comfy. The room also had an ensuite bathroom with a walk in shower. Our room was on the ground floor, which was ideal for us as stairs can sometimes be a bit of an issue for us. They also employed an open door policy with no curfew. Given the chance, we would love to return.

The location is great and within easy walking distance of St Anne's one way and Fairhaven Lake the other. There is parking available. The room we had was spacious and well equipped and it was nice and cosy. Kate and Keith are lovely and can't do enough for you to make your stay a pleasant experience. This was our second visit!

The full English breakfast was wonderful and the hosts were very welcoming. There’s even a little tray with glasses and sherry to help yourself to before bedtime. Only a short walk to the beach or town, lots of info in the rooms, plus a great crazy golf course within walking distance. We got the bus into Blackpool too and the bus stop is just at the end of the road. There was nothing to dislike at this property.

- Brian (10/5): - Our first visit to The Gaydon & it exceeded our expectations. Keith & Kate are a lovely couple, warm, welcoming & very friendly. We had a lovely spacious room with a very comfortable king size bed. Beautiful bathroom with a super shower & plenty of hot water. Both the bedroom & bathroom were warm with the central heating on morning & evening which was very much appreciated as it was cold outside being late October. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate & biscuits in room. Breakfast was delicious with quality ingredients; and a wide choice Kate is wonderful cook.. The hotel is extremely clean . We look forward to returning soon. There was nothing for us to dislike. We had an excellent four day Autumn break.

- William (8/5): Good overall stay - The hosts Keith and Kate really look after their guests. The room we had ( room 4) was fine and had all the amenities you would expect, tea,coffee, TV, comfy bed etc. It was very quiet. The breakfast are substantial and really do set you up for the day. The only downside to our stay was our very small bathroom. I get why its small as its been taken off the room. The hot water pressure though in the sink was virtually a trickle and have to say wasn't much better in the shower. I think the issue is because its at the top of the building. We stayed for two nights but if it was any longer the bathroom would become an issue for us. We would return to the Gaydon but would book a different room.
