What made our experience even more special was Rain: a superb host who helped us perfectly with booking all the tickets for the parks, saving us a lot of time and hassle. On top of that, he served a delicious breakfast every morning, which was the perfect start to our days. Thanks to Rain, everything went smoothly and stress-free. Highly recommended!

• Marion (8/5): Fantastische gastheer die ons verblijf subliem maakte! - Rain, de gastheer, was ongelooflijk vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Fantastisch! Hij hielp mee met alles, zette elke dag heerlijke thee en liet ons kennismaken met zijn passie voor kalligrafie. Als je op zoek bent naar een persoonlijke aanpak, ben je hier aan het juiste adres! Het Chinese ontbijt was overheerlijk, zelfs beter dan het Westerse ontbijt. De kamers zijn, naar Westerse normen, vrij sober. Er lag hier en daar nog wat stof of vuil, en de badkamer is wel aan wat vernieuwing toe. Wij verbleven hier 5 nachten en konden ons hier gemakkelijk overzetten. Op zich was dit geen groot probleem, maar toch wel belangrijk om even te benoemen.

• Lindsay (8/5): Prachtige rustgevende omgeving met een een geweldige host. - Rain is een geweldige host! Hij legt je alles uit over het nationale park en regelt de tickets. De badkamer kan je niet veel van verwachten, maar dit staat wel naar verhouding van de prijs.

• OLEG (8/5): - Very friendly and helpful manager Rain ,I was given the directions and the full information support during the stay.Also I'd been provided with tickets for the entrance into the park just on arrival.The location of the property is not in the center but all is reachable within 7-10 minutes walking Very cold inside.The heating air-conditioner and electric blanket on the bed are not enough for the winter season.And the cleaning should be better,there were some dusty spots in the corners of the room and the ventilation equipment in the bathroom

• Lotte (10/5): - Deze plaats voelt als thuis vanaf hrt moment dat je de deur binnen stapt. Rain regelt alles voor, de toegansgspassen voor de parken, verteld je de beste routes, regelt de bus en verteld je waar je het lekkerste kan eten. Niks is te veel voor hem. Het guesthouse is zo sfeervol en voelt als een warme plek waar je ook echt met de locals contact kunt leggen. Zelfs een avond van hem callifrafie mogen leren. Bij aankomst kreeg ik een upgrade naar een kamer met een kingsize bed zonder extra kosten. De kamers waren netjes en schoon en de douche was top. Ik ga deze plek missen maar kom zeker terug als ik weer naar China ga. Het ligt in een wat rustigere plek wat fijn is voor slapen maar binnen 15 minuten lopen sta je midden in het bruisende centrum. 35 minuten lopen van de oostelijke poort van het Zhangjiajie National Forest Park Niks. Alles was perfect
• Pavo (10/5): - All was fantastic. Rain is an excellent host and made my trip so much easier. He organized everything and booked all the tickets with discount. He was also always available in case of problems. Every night he would invite his guests for drinks and we were all hanging out. He made us feel like staying at home. I highly recommend staying with him. The beds are a bit hard, but it's OK.

• Kimberly (9/5): - Rain heeft ons fijne hulp geboden bij het bezoeken van het park en zorgde voor een aangepast meer westers ontbijt! Ook de calligraphy lessen heel leuk! Goede prijs kwaliteit. Alleen de bedden wat hard en de douche overstroomde waar ook de wc zit.
• Ivana (10/5): Amazing! - Rain explained us so much about the park and arranged the tickets. It was amazing! Maybe a tip would be to be a bit more transparent about the costs of the attractions. When we left we had to pay quite a bit for all attraction, even though Rain made sure we had a discount. All the parks around the area add up in costs.
• Aukje (9/5): Heerlijk verblijf! - We hebben hele fijne dagen gehad in dit guesthouse. Rain is een geweldige host die actief met je meedenkt en zaken regelt indien nodig. De locatie ligt tov het park perfect, alleen heeft daardoor iets minder voorzieningen qua supermarkten bv. Het ontbijt vonden we heerlijk! Zeker aan te raden! Niets :-)
• Noa (10/5): - Definitely one of the best places to stay if you are a foreign tourist. There are some amazing parks in the area, but it is very difficult to find your way around them due to the language barrier. Rain, the owner of the place, speaks English and explains each park, explains the procedures and routes, and of course also makes bookings. (In the parks, bookings are based on entry times, so it is important to pay attention to what entry time you make a reservation). Thanks to Rain's preliminary explanation, it is much easier to get around and you don't waste unnecessary time. And that's in addition to the warm welcome and the kind and personal treatment.

Le personnel était adorable toujours présent pour nous aider et nous donner des recommandations. La chambre est très bien équipée très propre et on a même été surclassées en arrivant! Je recommande vivement !!!!

• Dzmitry (10/5): Recommended - Rain is very friendly and will help you with any issues: how to call taxi, will help buy tickets to any park, where to have dinner and etc. Rain speaks english and it is very important in such place where not at all people understand you. Rooms are not luxury, but u will have everything what u need for life and night. AC is present for cold/hot. We took 2 beds and it was fully enough for family with kid. Near with hotel you can find small shops and restaurants where you can buy food and etc Very nice location if you want to visit avatar and other parks. Easy to call Didi taxi.

• Valentin (10/5): Perfect ! - Probably one of our best accommodations in China, Rain welcomed us first with an upgrade, offering us a very pleasant room and then with a tasting of local tea while he explained the programme he had prepared for us for the visit to Zhangjiajie Park and then leading us in person to the entrance of the park. The room and bathroom were clean and very comfortable. We were offered tea on the first evening and beers on the second. The atmosphere is really pleasant and you can even try your hand at calligraphy if you wish. We highly recommend this stay !

He helped me book a ticket to the forest park and provided me with a detailed route and map (without it, I would get lost). After checking out, I can leave my luggage at the reception desk for a few hours, and he also helped me arrange transportation to the next hotel. The room is really clean and beautiful, and the bed is very comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience and I felt very popular during my stay. I will recommend this hotel to anyone!
