- Alcina (9/5): Sehr erholsam und naturnah. - Die besondere Lage Nichts
- Indrikis (7/5): Good - Kind and outgoing owner, good value for money. Rooms were basic, but clean. Hard to find and remote location.
- Monir (10/5): Excellent location with nice accommodation - Breakfast was outstanding
- Maria (10/5): Beautiful nature experience - An incredible treehouse place in the jungle. Great vibes and also really friendly and accommodating staff. I would love to visit again.
- Thyra (10/5): Exceptional - I had an amazing stay at this hotel! I booked last minute, but everything exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I felt truly welcome. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the room was spotless and beautifully designed.
The view from the room was breathtaking, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from, which was the perfect way to start the day.
The location was absolutely stunning—right in the heart of nature. It was so peaceful and serene, surrounded by birdsong and the calming sounds of nature. It’s the perfect getaway for anyone looking to relax and recharge.
- Katja (8/5): Heaven for true nature lovers - We stayed at the open-wall treehouse rooms which was an unforgettable experience. The houses are located in the middle of nature, at the lake, but still close to the main road (5 min road) and in the proximity of Sigiriya highlights. The owner was the kindest host possible that cooked us delicious food and it was the greatest pleasure to talk to him. He also gave is good advice for further trip.
You can enjoy the view of nature and different animals from the property.
As you are in the middle of nature and with open walls, of course there are insects and other animals around. Google maps did not direct us to the right location - navigated us to the right from the main road (on the way from Dambulla) too soon - our driver called the owner and he gave him directions.
- Nina (10/5): Piecefull, cosy and unique treehouse close to Sigiriya - We stayed for two nights in this cosy treehouse near Sigiriya, and it was a truly unforgettable experience. The treehouse, with its open walls, brought us close to nature and we fell asleep to the soothing sounds of the piecefull surrounding. It felt like a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
Linton, the owner, was a highlight of our stay. He was incredibly helpful and kind, going out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He also provided fantastic advice about nearby attractions and helped us plan a route that suited our interests. His local knowledge and warm hospitality made the experience even more special.
If you’re looking for a unique and serene stay close to Sigiriya, this treehouse is a must-visit. We highly recommend it!
- Philine (9/5): Perfect place for nature-connected people! - Location in the middle of the nature, but still close to the sights of Sigiriya. The host Fernando cooked us the best sri lankan food and breakfast and was always there to help. Special rooms with open walls, so you’re sleeping with all of the nature sounds. You can watch birds and other animals from your bed. Of course there are lot of insects but the overall experience is still worth it
- Khadga (7/5): Good -
- Lenka (9/5): Superb - Fernando and his daughter are very kind hosts. Espetially rooftop room worth trying for some fresh air douring night and sounds of forrest around. The dinners and breakfast were large and tasty. We could arrange safari trip from there.
- Quazi (1/5): Bad - Could not find the hotel
Called the owner
Was not helpful
- Maria (10/5): Nature. - If you like the authentic and the nature, this is your place.
The landlord speaks a perfect english.
There is a lake where you can go for a small walk. Nothing
- Jehan (9/5): Superb - Linton and Natacha are very friendly and welcoming hosts. Linton has a lot of experience with organizing tours as he was a driver for tourists during more than 30 years and has a huge folder full of positive reviews from his clients that he drove around the country through the years. We wanted to go see the elephants in one of the reserves, which he organized for us very efficiently. It was a great experience! He also gave us many helpful tips for the rest of our trip, which was much appreciated. We stayed in the rooms that are kind of out in the open, which was a fun experience, we slept under the mosquito net and didn't have any issues with bugs or animals or anything else. The breakfast was really good, and we had an evening meal at their house as well, which was very good and with a very good price considering the usual "tourist prices" that we had to pay so far. It was a really enjoyable stay.
- Ushmantha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kenneth (10/5): Awesome - Linton collected us from the airport and we drove straight to the guest house. Very quiet and central location for day trips. They also had bicycles available to ride to Sigiriya Rock. Nathasha's cooking is exceptional and we ate breakfast like kings for three mornings. Both Linton and Nathasha were a great help for any general information. It's a new guest house, and we wish them every success. Ken and Julie-Anne Travellingfoxes Nil
- Sebastian (10/5): Exceptional - The owner Linton and his lovely daughter treated me very nice , I could come with every question or problem they was always trying to help! The food a Sri Lankan fusion cuisine was very delicious! You can choose between close or open walls room (they are on top) , I choose the open one because you are more in the nature. Many animals passing by….!!
I really enjoyed staying there and hope I can come back one day!
