- Emma (6/5): - The location was good for walking into Filey but would be difficult if you had mobility issues as it is a fair walk. Handy that it had a parking spot but the spots arent very wide to get 2 cars next to each other.
The bathroom was very clean and had extra thoughtful bits in like deodrant shampoo etc. The bed was very comfy!
Nice touch having Netflix, didnt get much time to chill out and watch it with only staying one night.
The added bonus of the tea/coffee/hot chocolate sachets i thought was a nice touch. The place could do with abit of tlc, marks on walls, skirting board etc.
The floor hadn't been cleaned very well, could feel bits when walking around which was ashame. Myself and my 2 children were staying. One was excited to sleep on the sofa bed but when we found the mattress under the bed, it was covered with dust. So couldnt use it.I think the property is maybe just suited for 2 people really. We ate out so didnt use any cutley etc but an added sink would be more practical to wash up in. I was made aware of the lack of kitchen before I went so I did expect it.

- Heather (8/5): Very nice indeed, thank you. - Clean and spacious. Eco toiletries and cleaning products. Free off street parking. Had everything I needed, except perhaps an iron - or at least I couldn't find one but I managed. Thank you. I did feel my car was essential as I would not have wanted to walk the distance to the centre/sea front. But it was ok as I had my car anyway.
- Anne (7/5): Ideal for walking the Wolds Way - Booked because we wanted somewhere close to the start of Yorkshire Wolds Way and this was ideal for it. We were 4 adults and really this was better suited to 2 adults or at a push plus 2 children - the second bed was a sofa bed and not ideal for adult(s). But otherwise it was great for purpose and for one night we faired well. Clean and comfortable .
- Joshua (10/5): - It was all very cozy and had everything we needed the bed was very comfy and would stay again definitely recomemding to others
- Hazel (9/5): A very warm welcome and would stay there again - Comfortable and perfectly suited our requirements
- Konrad (9/5): -
- Robert (9/5): - Very easy to find and not far from town. Nice walk
- Cooper (10/5): - Everything was provided from things for drinks to hygiene products.
Had dairy alternative milk for drinks.
Lots of room, including an enclosed outdoor area.
Amazing for youngest child with additional needs. We loved everything.
- Peter (8/5): - Comfortable, clean
It had absolutely everything you could need : toiletries etc Would have preferred to be nearer to beach/centre
- Paul (10/5): -
- Helen (8/5): Perfect for a short, comfortable, hassle-free stay - Easy to find and access and close to town. Spacious, comfortable and clean
- Michael (5/5): Handy for a night but disappointing standard - Handy for one night Heating didn’t come on Friday night, owners not in. Kitchen facilities need a sink, bought bottled water. Lamp switch in front room got very warm. High setting on shower was scalding hot, needs instructions. Generally all bit tired, needs refresh. Outside gardens front and back untidy and full of weeds, not as advertised.
- Jane (10/5): Perfect stay with superb hosts. Felt very at home. - Really lovely accommodation. Had everything I needed for my stay. Lots of lovely touches like the toiletries and lovely local art on the walls. A very relaxing and calming environment to be in. Lovely comfy bed too. A great location, easy walk into town and to the beach.
- Richard (8/5): - Nice location to town and beach +parking
- Louise (8/5): - It was very welcoming
- Melissa (8/5): -
- Anthony (8/5): The acommodationn was fairly central to Filey - parking space provided washing pots in bathroom
- Burge (9/5): Nice place a short walk to everything Filey has to offer - Location. Parking. Entry to property. Whilst I know it's not a full air b & b you still need separately from the bathroom somewhere to wash dishes.
- David (8/5): Very friendly host. Great little space near the coast. Very flexible hosts. - very quiet at the back, walking distance to the beach, parking. all the crockery, fridge, kettle, microwave dripping tap in bathroom.
- Kaye (8/5): Annexe - Close to the town centre and beach The mattress was not the comfiest
- Mark (8/5): -
- Lola (7/5): Room was cold but otherwise comfortable. - Proximity to the Cleveland Way. Helpful hosts. no sink by kitchen area.
- Amanda (7/5): Good location but overpriced for Filey - Location was good and parking . The smell of the bedding wasn't very nice
We had to request the code as wasn't sent for the time of arrival we requested
- Julie (8/5): Quiet location with parking - It is in a quiet residential area with parking provided but still only a few minutes from the seafront and town centre by car. It had exactly the facilities that it stated and the owners were keen to be helpful and friendly. It was clean and tidy.
- jeffrey (10/5): -
- Thomas (9/5): - It was comfortable enough for our stay and close to the rally service are on Filey Brigg. I guess that cooking might be a bit of a problem if you stayed longer. The owners were very nice on email chat. Nothing really.
- Antonia (10/5): A great place to stay. - It was perfect for what we wanted.
- Sheila (8/5): Excellent value, great location. - Location and facilities were excellent. Really good that we could park the car there before the checking time and walk to the beach. The central heating came on about 4.00am and the bedroom got really hot. I assume it was because the outside temperature suddenly dropped but it did disturb our sleep.
- Tim (10/5): -
- Dave (8/5): Comfortable quiet stay in Filey - Lovely little self-contained annexe next to the owners house. Very comfortable bed, great shower. Basic kettle and microwave, no sink, but everything we needed.
- Michael (9/5): -
- Michelle (10/5): - It was a fabulous little space. We felt instantly relaxed and at home. The provision of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate was a lovely welcome. The bathroom facilities are really good and shampoo, conditioner and bodywash was provided.
- Susan (5/5): Ok - Lovely and clean no complaints The noise from the children let it down he told us it had been sound proof but we could hear every word that is what let it down for me and also no sink to wash pots having to take a kitchen blow to the bathroom to fill with water not ideal at all.
- Ingleson (8/5): Great little place for a short stay! - The Annexe was a perfect overnight location for our stay in Filey. Superbly clean and very comfortable. Very nice hosts who were responsive to our request to park earlier.
- Jackson (10/5): - Everything was outstanding ,the apartment was spotless ,lovely place to stay with everything needed including lovely finishing touches like toiletries all enviromently friendly ,the bed was very comfortable and the decor was lovely .I would highly recommend the annexe and will definitely stay again.
Ten minute walk into town and beach parking facilities available . Couldn't fault anything!

- Diane (9/5): Really enjoyed our stay in a lovely Annexe within a short 10 minute walk to Filey centre. - The Annexe was perfect for our two night stay. It was very clean and cosy. The hosts messaged back to me promptly when I asked if we could park our car early, which they kindly stated it wasn't a problem.
The bed was really comfortable, we were surprised how big the two rooms were with a spacious bathroom. There were lots of complimentary items too.
I liked the fact that I could get up early and go into the living room for a cuppa and watch some News while my husband could lie in a bit longer without disturbing him. Something you don't get in a one room hotel or guest house. Nothing
- Caroline (9/5): - Clean & tidy & good values N/a
- Emma (10/5): - Lovely, super comfy property with everything you need. Really nice touches with toiletries and cloth pads and wipes. Emily and George are very welcoming hosts. Will definitely visit again!
- Shirley (10/5): Perfect for a short stay. - The Annexe was perfect for a short stay. The location was great and it had everything we needed and more! It was very clean and comfortable.

- william (10/5): -
- Kelly (9/5): Lovely - Clean and everything needed for a couple of days.
- Marlon (10/5): It was everything I needed - It was everything I needed Nothing
- Smith (8/5): Ideal for a 1 or 2 night stay - Pretty quiet, spacious, clean and tidy. Parking off road. Better than a hotel room for 1or 2 nights as there was a microwave to reheat food and a mini fridge although we didn't use. Nothing really.
- Perkins (10/5): Little Gem in Filey - Very close to the center of town, just a 10 min stroll to all amenities. Clean and very comfortable. Everything we needed. Lots of little extras provided. Off street parking. Netflix etc available. Photos do not do it justice, much bigger than it looks.
- Gary (7/5): Does what it says on the tin ..... - It was what we expected we stayed for two nights , well aware of the fact that there was no kitchen but enough equipment for beans on toast or any other permeation of microwaveable food and toast so it was fine for us.
The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and communicated well , keeping us well informed and quick to answer any queries. This isn't really a dislike more of a food for thought after all this is somebody's property and it comes to personal taste but maybe the gardens could be made to look a little more inviting, I get the wild living garden things but for me I like a nice area to sit and have a brew on a morning but that's just me.
- Matthew (9/5): Superb -
- Jeff (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicola (8/5): Lovely little property for our one night stay with everything we needed. Clean and modern and really easy to find. We wo -
- Linda (9/5): Superb - Location to the train station was very good. The owners were really helpful. When we asked if we could drop off our bag before check-in time, they went out of their way to give us an earlier check-in. They also stored our bag on departure day.
There were lots of extras in the annexe - tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and toiletries.
Very comfy bed too!
Although it states there is not a kitchen, there is enough provided - microwave, mini fridge, kettle and toaster to get by with. A sink in the living area would have been handy. However, the owners state they will wash any dishes you have, so not really a gripe.
- Sue (9/5): Great seaside break in filey - Fabulous location only half a mile from beach...good parking and quiet area...hosts had left tea and coffee and milk sachets...good facilities for self catering for light meals and drinks...the annexe was cosy and welcoming...hosts on site and really helpful with tv query.. Nothing all.good...cant fault the property or the location
- Michael (8/5): Very good -

- Elizabeth (10/5): Great little place to stay and enjoy Filey. - Lots of personal touches
Lovely decor
Spotlessly clean
Quiet
Parking Nothing at all
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Celine (8/5): Very good - We only stayed a night with my daughters but had a very pleasant stay with everything we needed available. The Annex is nicely decorated and clean. The hosts are really nice. The location is great and walking distance to everything; beach, shops, restaurants. Would definitely recommend and come again! Thank you.
- David (8/5): Good location with on site parking and quite adequate for a short stay. - Comfy bed and on site parking. Be warned- parking near to the beach is virtually impossible! As it was early April it was cool in the evening and was not really warm enough in the apartment. The main radiators were not on and the two back up electric ones weren’t adequate.
This was reported to Emily the next day and she immediately agreed to sort it out.
- Fiona (7/5): Good for a short stay - The Annex was easy to access via the key safe and parking was on site. The place was a little chilly and the front room shady so that wasn’t very welcoming. The bedroom was bright and had plenty natural light. The bed was comfortable. I liked the eco touches. There was a small heater for the bedroom and a wall heater in the front room. These did warm the place eventually. There was a very chilly east wind when we stayed. The walk to the beach was short and pleasant. The hosts were friendly and helpful
- Katie (10/5): Lovely space - Lovely space, ideally located will definitely stay again. Nothing
- Alex (9/5): Superb -
- Russ (8/5): Very good -

- Matthew (7/5): Good -
- Paula (10/5): Was a surprise night away for partner and I, lovely property, very comfortable in a good location. Had good communicatio - Very clean, good location near beach.

- Ben (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (8/5): Enjoyable stay in a clean & spacious one bed apartment - Clean and spacious with lovely toiletries. Everything you need for a basic meal. Comfortable bed and decent shower. Perfect for a central filey stay with off road parking and a lovely little garden at the rear you can use. Sofa bed in the front room if required with tv etc. Front door is very dirty and gives a poor first impression. Room was quite cold on arrival however was warm the second day as the heating had come on (operated via the main house). Bed comfy but bedding had a slightly musty smell.
- Mark (9/5): Superb -
- John (10/5): Great hosts, great property and in a great location. - Spotlessly clean and spacious. Nice touches with tea and coffee provided and even your own off street parking.
- Alison (7/5): Good - Very quiet and well furnished.
Comfortable bed.
Would have been better for two people. Insufficient bedding for sofa bed and needed cushions on top of the mattress.
No instructions provided for heating. It was a cold night.
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Beata (9/5): A very relaxing and enjoyable stay - Everything was as advertised, very comfy bed, very good shower. Using a garden was an additional plus. Emily and George responded to every query very quickly. And the area where Annexe is was lovely - close to the seaside, town centre, countryside and very quiet. n/a
- Debbie (8/5): Great accomodation - A very clean, comfortable self contained stay in a good location, where you can walk to all local amenities. The owners are friendly and we had everything we needed for our stay.
- Susan (9/5): A Comfortable four nights - Would have been better if had cooker/kitchen sink etc but not a problem as knew beforehand.
Parking was small issue to us as wasn’t really wide enough to get in and out of car easily plus I wouldn’t really think 4 cars would fit either as advertised
- Christine (8/5): Very good -
- Ali (8/5): Very good -
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (7/5): Good -
- Joanna (8/5): Great hosts and lovely holiday hideaway - Lovely comfy bed, homely and minimal decor, friendly hosts, excellent range of teas/coffees (and hot choc!) toiletries and helpful sundries - all organic. A better equipped kitchenette and would make the place much more family friendly, and would have made me want to stay again or stay for longer next time.
- Paul (10/5): Great, will stay again when back with work -
- Caroline (10/5): Fab Filey - Lovely situation- just near enough for a pleasant walk into town. Clean & comfortable & the owners were very welcoming & helpful Nothing to report here
- Gemma (9/5): Fantastic Stay, So Lovely Here! - Lovely place to stay, lots of space and loved all the little extras such as toiletries, hot chocolate kit etc. Loved and have already booked to go back! Cant fault this, that is why we are returning again soon!
