Guest Reviews
- Bradley (6/5): - First and foremost, saying their loft is like a bunk bed with a couple extra rungs is the understatement of the century. As a 67 yo retired USCG Chief and former Marine that ladder up to the bed was a test. No railings, steep and you have to do a gymnastics move at the top. Getting down even worse. Cleanliness well, things were wiped down but not cleaned. New construction, maybe a couple of years ago. Areas nice but you'll have to climb up a steep hill to reach the stores and restaurants. Can't believe that all the reviews I saw were 5 stars and the one 4 star review was the only one that mentioned the loft bed. Definitely a major safety concern unless you're in good overall condition. Owners were on site and helpful with the one interaction I had with them. Also no storage area for personal items except for 5 hangers in a open closet. There is a bed under the couch in the living space if you can't make the climb but opening it up will take up the entire living area. Frankly, just didn't get the whole thing. Compared to other options, take them not this. Regretfully submitted.
- Lisa (2/5): Misrepresented, most adults can not sleep here. - This unit was very deceptive. The "bedroom" was represented as accessible by "stairs" and is actually a mattress at the top of an 8 foot vertical ladder with 1" wide rungs. If/when you reach the top, the roof is too close, so while your head is hitting the ceiling, you have to somehow leverage your entire body up without falling, insane!! My wife and I are both 65 and although healthy enough, We found it exceedingly dangerous (especially trying to descend in the dark) and should have been disclosed. We never got any sleep there and had to stay an extra night as we couldn't find another place to stay. After a lot of complaining they offered us one night comp, even though we left a couple days early. Don't rent this unless you are a gymnast. P.s. your car will bottom out trying to get up this driveway which requires about 12' vertical clearance.
