Guest Reviews
- John (10/5): -
- caroline (4/5): Would not recommend. - Location was good Squeaky doors would wake anyone.
Nothing in the fridge, not even milk for tea/coffee, actually I don't think there was coffee either, was disgusted at no milk when paying so much.
I had left a power bank and charger behind and messaged a few times asking if any chance it could be posted to me (had no issue paying for the postage), and no response whatsoever. Would not recommend this property. .
- Elaine (7/5): Functional, bit impersonal, feels a bit like a probation house rather than a family home - Good transportation in walking distance. Victoria Park close for park run Beds & sofas very uncomfortable. Place needs to be redecorated. Sensor lights in hallway & landings are too sensitive and too bright especially at night.
Bigger table in dining room would have been good - no table to sit 5.
Few homely touches would have been nice.

- Andrej Briščik (1/5): Filthy, Freezing and Deeply Disappointing Stay - “Nothing at all – the property was freezing, filthy and completely unwelcoming. Unfortunately, our one-night stay at Harbor View Belfast was one of the most disappointing accommodation experiences we have ever had. We arrived in the evening with our 6-year-old child, tired from traveling and simply wishing for a warm shower, a quiet game, and a good night’s sleep. Instead, we were greeted by a cold, dirty, and poorly maintained house.
Cleanliness: The very first impression was dreadful. The kitchen bin was full and smelled, the dishwasher contained dirty dishes, the toilet seat had hair on it, and the glass table in the living room was filthy. Overall, the property gave off a strong sense of neglect, with peeling walls, damp stains, and a general lack of hygiene.
Heating: To make matters worse, the heating was restricted to just two hours a day, which is absolutely unacceptable in a cold house with poor insulation, especially when hosting families with children. The owner’s instructions to “press the boost button” for 30–120 minutes at a time felt more like a survival guide than proper heating for paying guests. We spent our only evening freezing, which is simply inexcusable.
Atmosphere and communication: The house rules came across less as guidance and more as thinly veiled threats. Being warned about a £250 fine for noise after 11pm made it obvious that the property is often used for parties. This is hardly reassuring for a family seeking comfort, peace, and respect.
Value for money: It was painfully obvious that the owner had done a superficial, rushed “check” of the property before our arrival, yet had no issue charging a full rental fee for a place that was far below even basic hospitality standards.
In conclusion, even though we only stayed one night, it was enough to see that Harbor View Belfast was cold, dirty, and unwelcoming. The neglect of cleanliness, the inadequate heating, and the unfriendly tone of the communication combined into an experience that no guest should ever have to go through.
- Gary (7/5): - Location to airport Steep stairs
- SAMUEL (9/5): - The apartment was beautiful and well cared for. Very clean and organise, we definitely want to go there again.
- David (10/5): Lovely house, would highly recommend - Beautiful property, super clean and perfect for our group.
- Aoife (10/5): -
- Antonio (10/5): - Comoda e ben tenuta Moquette a terra

- Kjersten (8/5): We enjoyed our stay in this facility and enjoyed the “house-like” aspects. - Love the “house” aspect. Enough beds. Laundry and fill fridge. It was a bit away from the harbor and definitely a neighborhood.

- Aideen (10/5): Great for airport - Great location for the airport. Plenty of space.
- Mary (6/5): The four of us had room to stretch out and got along fine, but I’m glad we only had two days here. - Plenty of room. Central location that felt safe. Beer in fridge. Clean, but needs some updating Neighborhood was between a decent shopping area and one that had closed shops, felt more run down.
The living room couches were not comfortable. It was a four level apartment with narrow steep stairs. The ‘harbor view’ could be glimpsed only from the top bedroom window.
- Rogers (8/5): Very good - Good accommodation and helpful host. Worked well for us.
- Paula (8/5): Comfortable and convenient - Nice space Little plain

- Wright (10/5): A wonderful long weekend to celebrate a significant birthday. Loved Belfast - can't wait to return. - Excellent location in Standtown, East Belfast. 10-15 minute bus journey to the city centre, 30 minutes walk to the Titanic Quarter. Tesco Express just 5 minutes walk away and excellent restaurants between 15 and 20 minutes walk from the house.
- Jodie (8/5): Great location, great value and a lovely stay! - This was the perfect stay, thanks for having us!
- Hannah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Linda (7/5): Good - Exceptionally clean. A few hangers in the rooms would have been great.
The property isn’t really suitable for oldies. No rails to help up the stairs. Bathrooms/toilets are a few steps down from bedrooms. Not an issue for most people, not great if you have mobility challenges.
- Elaine (10/5): Comfortable, clean and excellent value - It was clean, comfortable and in a nice neighbourhood. Easy access to City and George Best airport. Uber worked really well for us (group of 4).
Didn’t get time to explore the local area but easy walk to small Tesco which stocks the basics.
Absolutely ideal for4 people who want their own space, but the lounge was great to sit & chat.
- Boal (9/5): Superb -
- Naomí (10/5): Better than any hotel!! Definitely be back! - House was emasculate! Great value for money!
Would be perfect for a group. 8 of us stayed and will absolutely be staying again! Host contacted me prior to our stay, Gave great recommendations for our night out and also, gave clear guidance how to access the property. Beds are so comfy not like a hotel!! It’s 10 minutes or so outside Belfast city centre, Uber is handy got! Highly recommended!! Nothing! Everything was perfect
- Julie (7/5): Good - Really comfy beds. Lots of space. Tea, coffee, sugar was provided. Good location.
Great if you have a big group of people as there's 4 bedrooms Couldn't open the windows.
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peat (9/5): Good set up for up to 8 guests - Well set up. Keycode makes it very handy. Close to city centre. Four double bedrooms made it very easy for 7 of us to stay together. Rooms are very clean and beds comfy. TV had all the channels, much to my kids delight. Reasonably priced. Large shower could do with a handrail/ anti slip mat.
- Rohan (9/5): Superb -
