• Carlos (10/5): Um excelente local de hospedagem em Montevideo, com acesso fácil aos meios de transporte locais. - O café da manhã foi bem variado e muito bem servido, com frutas, laticínios locais. Os anfitriões são flexíveis em relação ao horário, servindo o café em horários pré combinados.
• Jordan (10/5): PERFEITA! - O local é um apartamento de dois pisos localizado aos fundos de uma casa. Primeiro, a localização. Escolhemos o lugar porque ele fica em frete ao Estádio Centenário e fomos a Montevidéu assistir um jogo de futebol. Depois, conforto. No primeiro piso, temos uma sala que conta um pouco da história dos anfitriões, um local para refeições em frente à piscina e uma parrilla. No segundo andar, há dois quartos e um banheiro. Dois pontos importantes, estacionamento e café da manhã incluídos. A recepção foi calorosa e, Alberto e Mirta, fazem parte da história uruguaia.

Excellent rapport prix/qualité. L'endroit est securisé, je me suis sentie en securité comme femme seule. La position vous permet d'acceder facilement partout. Mais encore une fois un point exceptionel pour les hôtes ❤️ qui vous recoivent parfaitement et vous aident si besoin. Rien. Tout allait bien.

En todos los detalles para que la estancia se convierta en una experiencia Insuperable. Un lugar, bello, tranquilo y con excelente ubicacion, muy cerca de la terminal Tres Cruces, en frente del parque Battle y del estadio Centenario. Super recomendable. Todo estuvo perfecto, una experiencia de las que se guardan en un especial lugar de nuestro corazón.
• Anja (10/5): We came as strangers and Leave as Friends - Wir waren direkt im Paradies von Montevideo angekommen. Die Herzlichkeit von Mirta und Alberto, ihr Interessen an den Gästen und ihre absolute Hilfsbereitschaft hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Darüber hinaus war die Unterkunft sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, so dass wir uns gleich zu Hause fühlten. Das tägliche Frühstück im Garten war einfach der Hammer, jeden Tag wurde es liebevoll angerichtet und wir haben immer verschiedene Köstlichkeiten erhalten. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur wärmsten empfehlen. Hinweis: Altstadt ist weiter entfernt, dennoch zu Fuß (längerer Weg) oder mit Bussen zu erreichen, die nahe der Unterkunft abfahren.

• Alexander (10/5): Toller Ort mit tollen Gastgebern - Uns hat alles gefallen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl- und willkommen gefühlt. Besonders herausheben möchten wir die beiden sehr herzlichen Gastgeber, die uns sogar unsere Sonderwünsche zum Frühstück erfüllten, obwohl wir sagten sie sollen nichts für uns extra einkaufen. Was sie dennoch gemacht haben. Danke euch sehr dafür, das Frühstück war super ☺️Wir können die Unterkunft jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

• Jo (10/5): Lovely place to stay outside the bustle of busy Montevideo city centre. - It’s a private, quiet, secluded, garden apartment with private pool access. A lovely garden. The hosts are very accommodating and helpful. It is located a short taxi ride from the city centre, right opposite to the estradiol centenario (football World Cup stadium). N/a. It isn’t 5* luxury but is a very good choice for a comfortable and calm couple of nights.
• Camilo San (10/5): Fenomenal hospedaje en el corazón del Parque Battle - Este hospedaje nos recibió con brazos abiertos desde nuestra llegada. Las amplias habitaciones y salones nos hicieron sentir cómodos en toda nuestra estadía. Asimismo, el jardín fue el espacio soñado para nuestros desayunos y los momentos de esparcimiento. Por su parte, Mirta y Alberto se mostraron siempre atentos a nuestras inquietudes y necesidades. El peor momento fue la partida, por tener que despedirnos de tan magnífico espacio y de nuestros anfitriones.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with hot coffee and homemade sweets – such a thoughtful gesture that set the tone for our stay. Everything was perfect, from the warm welcome to the very last day. Breakfast was a real highlight: varied, delicious, with homemade treats and a lovely local touch. What made the stay truly special was how Mirta and Alberto looked after us with such care, always making sure we had everything we needed. The house is spacious and cozy, with plenty of room for a family, so we felt comfortable and at home throughout our stay. It felt like more than just accommodation, it was a real immersion into local life. The pool looked amazing too, even though it was early spring and we couldn’t use it. We left with the feeling of having visited friends, not just hosts.

• Laura (9/5): A lovely stay with wonderful hosts - Alberto and Mirta are lovely hosts who truly enjoy welcoming their guests and connecting with them. The space is private, through the garden at the back of the main house, and had plenty of space for a couple to be more than comfortable. Air conditioning on the hot summer days was definitely appreciated! And the home-made breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The area is not the most popular for tourism but really nice for a local feel. We would definitely stay here again, and if you are thinking of staying in the neighbourhood do not hesistate!

Lots of different foods, including the fresh fruit salad, fresh orange juice, yogurts, variety of bread, cheeses and meats, butter and sweet jams, cakes - so, it was more than we can handle, thank you so much! ) Garden is also incredible and very well maintained, as a pool. Big and comfy house that can easily host much more than 2 people.

Now spring time, the pool was wonderful, and the barbecue worked perfectly for an asado. And, of course, the breakfasts were outstanding. The hosts are extraordinarily gracious and generous. The property accommodates a bicycle very nicely. I cannot say enough about this place!!! What's to not like?????

Mirta and Alberto's property proved to be a perfect choice. The two-story apartment was well-appointed, comfortable, and ideally suited for both work and leisure. The apartment's independent layout provided a peaceful workspace, complete with a desk and reliable Wi-Fi. Its central location made it easy to explore the city, adding to the overall enjoyment of my trip. Mirta and Alberto were exemplary hosts. Their warmth, friendliness, and constant availability made me feel right at home. A particular highlight was the delicious daily breakfast, featuring a delightful assortment of Uruguayan delicacies. This experience has undoubtedly raised the bar for future travels to Montevideo, and I wholeheartedly recommend Mirta and Alberto's apartment to anyone seeking a comfortable and authentic stay in this charming city. While the weather did not permit me to utilize the pool during my visit, I anticipate returning at a more auspicious time to indulge in the serene ambiance of the garden and the refreshing waters of the pool.
• Hanson (10/5): 6 out of 5 stars! - As it was my first visit to Montevideo, I was apprehensive at first to commit to a ten-day stay with a host with no reviews. But within minutes of my stay (and discovering I was the first visitor for this host) I was fully convinced that the location, the accommodations, and the care taken in making sure I had the best possible experience were all absolutely unsurpassable. I cannot say enough for the host's hospitality and generosity. I learned more about the history and character of Uruguay than I ever expected. Absolutely outstanding. What an amazingly peaceful spot in the center of the bustling city! Overlooking Parque Batlle, with a quiet, secluded patio and garden, the feel was of a secret vacation getaway. The swimming pool proved to be perfectly refreshing after a six-hour bicycle ride in the sun along the coast on a beautiful late-autumn day. The apartment is outfitted with a full range of appliances and tableware. The bathroom is recently remodeled; two mini splits provide instant warmth and cooling on both levels. Security is well thought out. The generous and bountiful continental breakfasts started my day with a thankful heart and a peaceful mind. Not enough smiley faces for this reviewer. Definitely an A+ in my grade book. The proximity to the football stadium in Parque Batlle means that on some evenings it can be somewhat noisy with the bedroom's balcony door open.
