- Yvonne (9/5): Perfect staff for my Mums birthday, made extra special by the wonderful staff. - Fabulous stay, gorgeous room with stunning unobstructed view of the sea (room 308, sunset view from hotel room in pics - treat yourself to a deluxe room). 2 large double beds in room. Really nice toiletries also. Staff exceptional, everyone so friendly & accommodating. Location excellent. Breakfast plentiful. Restaurant menu limited, although what we ordered was delicious. And staff again wonderful.

Shower and bathroom in the room is great. An extra towel request was no problem. Well done. Breakfast minimal. For example, no mushrooms nor complementing garnishing apart from tomato. Sausages and bacon was very cheap tasting. Filter coffee machine broken. Poor coffee substitute. Nothing to eat after 8pm later arrival. Even some basics would have been nice. Eg soup or lasagna that could easily be served from the bar .. Felt a little rushed at breakfast and the staff not really welcoming.

The hotel is very airy and welcoming to walk in to, especially on a cold April’s day! The bedrooms are spacious and the shower is amazing. The staff are so friendly. We had a small baby in a pram and were on the 2nd floor so it was a bit tricky for us, as there are some steps when you exit the lift. It meant having to carry the pram up/down these steps. Also, small touches missing (lotion, biscuit, etc.). I stay on hotels frequently and absolute unacceptable bugbear is the failure to provide water in the room. Anyone staying in a hotel has usually had a journey beforehand and a bottle of water is an inexpensive but welcoming token.

- Christina (5/5): - I had to pay a deposit when I arrived it never stated in my original booking so embarrassing, then when I the room a big fight happened outside our window, guards etc very distributed sleep wasn't happy said to the staff the next morning but nothing was done got back my deposit, funny my sister with a different surname stayed there the week before and never had to pay a deposit didn't know this at the time but now I do, sent a complaint to booking.com got no response

I have stayed in a lot of hotels and never been able to hear music from the entertainment, little sleep both Friday and Saturday night. My booking was with two children so I don’t understand why we were not givin a quiet room. Also the earliest time you could go to breakfast was 8.15 so we missed it two mornings.
