Guest Reviews
- Linda (10/5): Beautiful sunrises and sunsets across the mountain range, and a visit from a koala to add to our enjoyment. - Beautifully renovated and located in amazing gardens. The bed was so comfortable and the facility had everything we needed. A spider- it was big.
- Linda (10/5): Excellent country stay - Very comfortable. Well equipped. Peaceful great views. Totally relaxing. Feeding the guinea fowls was fun. Saw wallabies hares and cows. Great communication. With Tammy about how to arrive. Nothing
- Antony (10/5): Amazing views and house, difficult to leave! - Spectacular views of Mt Barney and scenic rim, beautiful gardens, quiet and solitude, spacious and well equipped historic house, sympathetically restored. Nothing
- Gregory (10/5): QLD outback stay - Spectacular view exactly as it described, comfy and cosy, very nice stay. We walked along the road, beautiful views and fresh air around us, fantastic experience. Not really. The storm cut off the power twice, but the power came back after couple of minutes and not issue at all.
- Anne Maree (8/5): We did enjoy the wonderful time at Barney View. Thank you to the host - Scenic Rim Views and walking trails nearby. Location in farming area. Loved! Kitchen cooking equipment needs upgrading. But we made do!
- Penny (9/5): Fabulous location and wildlife! - Outstanding views. Loved the gardens, the kitchen, the fact we were in the old school house (!!) and the Guinea fowl and wildlife 😎😎 The main bed mattress was very hard, which was a shame because the room and bedding were lovely
- JoeleneR (10/5): -
- Ross (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (8/5): Very good - Fabulous location Molly smell in the cupboard & bedsides
- Montana (9/5): Superb -
- Richard (8/5): Very good -
- Myles (9/5): Great - Really awesome view loved all the stuff outdoors like the chair carved into the tree stump and all the seating areas spread about. Nice cozy cabin definitely felt at home there Obviously not their fault but we lost power for 3-5+ hours twice during my stay from storms and lots of spiders :)
Other then that it was great
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bronwyn (9/5): Views views views. - The site, history and character of this place made it extra special. One of our group is a retired teacher and the fact this is an old school was so interesting to him. That we had to leave!
- Nathan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (10/5): Great location for a relaxing family getaway with spectacular views - We loved the location and the amazing views of the mountain. So much for the kids to explore, they loved feeding the Guinea fowl, exploring all the old buildings and artefacts and having a campfire. The house itself is beautiful with a great open plan living area and well equipped kitchen upstairs, and two beautiful fresh bedrooms downstairs with amazingly comfortable beds.
High quality sheets, bedding and towels. Nothing it was perfect!
