Guest Reviews
- Nigel (8/5): Very clean with all of the facilities needed and well located for visiting the coast - The lodge was well located for visiting the coast and Bodmin Moor. The lodge was very clean on arrival, had everything we needed for our short break and the park site was very quiet. Good tea room and pub in village.
- Ross (10/5): Happy to have stayed here - Location, size and value for money plus parking Not much - for the price it’s good value for money it is not 5 star accommodation but well kept.
- cora (10/5): The weather helped me enjoy the lodge and surroundings in my own company. - A nicely appointed, comfortable lodge in a tranquil setting. My first stay in one. Exceptionally clean and a short walk takes you to St Teath village, with a great tea shop and old-fashioned friendly pub.
The only downside to the lodge was the television because the satellite system was reluctant to boot. I was blessed with wonderful weather, thankfully. The owner was very patient when I phoned him, but I still couldn’t say why it took several attempts to get the tv on. I had to take a shelf out of the fridge to stand a leaking milk bottle up as the door had no bar to hold it.
I’d be very happy to return.
I was fortunate to visit the wonderful waterfalls when it was quiet, and the Ladies’ Window provided stunning cliff views. Port Isaac and Polzeath were great in their contrasting experiences. See above

- Tom (10/5): Thanks very much. My mum had a lovely stay over Christmas! - Good location, a good size, very clean and warm!
- Karen (8/5): Very good. - Great location for our stay and very close to the village centre. Beautifully clean and very well equipped.
- khan (1/5): Disgusting - We did not like anything . Awfully bad and disgusting . First impression was to smell damp rotten entrance. We could have been straightaway left but late at night and to find another place to stay was not possible. By hook and by crook we spent night and left in the day Everything for over £900 for 6 nights was a rip off. Misleading pictures. Only may be £200 for 6 night could be the value of money. Rubbish and broken items on the back of the lodge . Just like a farmer left broken tools there. We got pictures for proof. We have to spent another £1000 to get better holidays accommodation. Will never book through booking .com again.kitchen utensils were old. Rooms like doll's house. Bed springy and can not sleep. Communal area disgustingly dirty with old sofa type couch which has got a dip in the middle. Once you sit will get guaranteed back pain. Bed sheet and beds were old. Surely no body would like to have holidays in a dirty lodge when especially when you have spent fair amount of money. AVOID IT

of Cornwall - I like the bedrooms and the living room in the lodge, all the facilities and the heating. The whole surrounding area was nice, peaceful, and clean. The owner was also supportive as we needed to contact him for some support required with the lock, and he not only helped us but also suggested some nearby areas to visit. Everything was good except the TV. As there wasn't much for kids to watch. Kids' beds could be more comfy.
- Audrius (8/5): Very good -
- Katherine (10/5): Exceptional - It was a great sized lodge, very comfortable, spotlessly clean and impressively well appointed. It surpassed our expectations, there wasn’t anything we didn’t like.
- Cristina (10/5): Exceptional - Adrian was very informative, the lodge was clean, we had everything we need it, even if it was for only one night. I would definitely book it again! Thank you!
