• Sigrid (9/5): - Die Ausstattung der Küche war sehr gut Das Bad war klasse. Sehr ruhige Lage. Parken ist während der Woche sehr teuer. Am Wochenende ist es umsonst. Die Straße ist jedoch sehr zugeparkt.

The hostess was hugely welcoming and great touches such as fluffy towels and bathroom products freely available. The shared rooms all clean and equipped to high standards. Nothing was too much trouble and the whole experience was great. I must say the rooms are underpriced so go ahead and book quick. Nothing

Die Gegend ist nachts sehr ruhig, auch wird im Haus sehr auf die Nachruhe geachtet und Rücksicht genommen. Die Lage ist zentral genug um Bristol zu Fuß erkunden zu können. Für Menschen, die nicht so gerne früh geweckt werden, ist das Haus etwas hellhörig. Dusche und normale Küchengeräusche hört man sofort, weil die Zimmer Wand an Wand mit Küche und Bad sind.
• M (7/5): Overall great for the price - Great transport links in area, comfortable bed, very spacious bedroom and easy to use shower. Quiet area. Bad odour in Kitchen made it hard to use possibly due to drains, got really cold at night but thankfully I could use the electric heater.

• Jane (10/5): Loved this, friendly host and a most comfortable stay. - Quiet street, walk to shops and transport, large light filled room with a view. Nothing really. Share kitchen freezer needed a defrost but that is a very small issue.

• Alison (8/5): Very good - Warm welcome from Ali who helped with my luggage. Spacious and clean room and kitchen. Lovely bathroom . No problems parking. Quiet house, well located for my puposes. Just a temporary issue: a loft conversion was under way so scaffolding and sheeting were up and as the weather was windy, it was a little noisy overnight.

• Jana (9/5): spacious cozy room in a quiet house with best host - Alison is the nicest host ever, she was very welcoming and was interested in hearing about me as a person. She showed me the place and gave me all needed instructions. Her dog is also very friendly. The neighbourhood seems safe and it was calm during the night, there are nice restaurants, shops and bars and a bus stop in walking distance. The kitchen and bathroom is shared with another person who rents permanently, it was tidy and mostly clean. There were permanent stains on my bedsheets, which I dislike. I also would have preferred the floors to be a little cleaner. I didn't figure out how to lock my room, maybe that is my mistake and I could have asked Alison about it, but I don't think you can lock the room either from outside nor inside.

• Melanie (10/5): Ideal accommodation for a short stay, either work or leisure - comfortable and well equipped room and kitchen…excellent - Comfortable and homely, this accommodation was perfect for me needing somewhere close to the University and yet in a quiet street (with a view) and ideal space for working…desk in the window,, fast and reliable WiFi, and a well fitted kitchen and bathroom. Alison was a great host, and so was her dog! There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

• Dean (10/5): I rate it 6 stars out of 5!!! - I self-catered for breakfast due to my restrictive dietary requirements. The room was very spacious and warm with a large desk accommodating my laptop and paperwork. All the linen was clean and smelt lovely. The kitchen was well-equipped and the bathroom facilities were very modern. The location was of benefit to me because I often walked up the hills from the riverside exploring sites on the way and maintaining my walking fitness. Hanging space for drying washing was a bit restrictive.

• Robyn (9/5): A happy and comfortable stay in a charming city. - Great location and I really liked the host and her charming dog and cat. It is a great choice for those wanting a welcoming, reasonably-priced, spacious and quiet place to stay whilst exploring Bristol. There is another person living at the property (a very interesting and intelligent grad student) but he is quiet and rarely around so it is most likely you will be alone on the upper floor. I would definitely stay here again when in Bristol. Nothing

• John (10/5): Lovely apartment, facilities, and host - The host, Alison, was delightful, very welcoming, and accommodating throughout the entire stay. The room was immaculate and in a very picturesque part of town. The location was seemingly on top of every hill in Bristol, so getting back to it from the city centre was not always the easiest.
