Les draps sont défraîchis, la douche coule, la porte de la salle de bain est de trop et la climatisation ne permet pas de tempérer la pièce ( trop froide ou pas assez).

• Payam (10/5): Great location, great breakfast, great team. - Usually I do not write recessions but this Riad really deserves it. The location? 10/10. Everything I saw on my FYP was literally 5min away. It was quiet, the staff was amazing and the rooms so aesthetically pleasing that I didn’t want to leave. Due to the traditional ground floor with thick walls the WiFi was not strong enough. But that is just a small inconvenience.

• Lucas (6/5): Nuestra estancia de 3 noches en pareja. - Destacó la amabilidad de los trabajadores, el primer día nos facilitaron transfer desde el aeropuerto por 20 euros, llegamos antes de la hora del check in y nos recibieron con un te y bizcocho y Abdel él recepcionista nos dio consejos y recomendaciones útiles para nuestro viaje, aunque el primer día no teníamos contratado desayuno nos lo pusieron porque dijimos que teníamos hambre. La primera noche, aunque sin preguntarnos, nos hospedaron en una habitación familiar superior a la contratada, al día siguiente nos tuvimos que trasladar. Otro día que llegamos por la tarde al hotel, la cocinera nos ofreció te y bizcocho que disfrutamos en su bonita azotea. Pese a estar en la medina a un minuto de Jenaa el Fna es de fácil acceso. Nos reservaron en un hamman por 25 eur por persona, que aunque no muy higiénico, fue aceptable. La habitación y especialmente la ropa de cama estaba muy limpia. El ultimo día nos facilitaron transfer al aeropuerto por 20 euros. Me gustó mucho la estancia pero no es un hotel de cuatro estrellas, es un riad modesto, cómodo y bien ubicado. La habitación doble tiene muy buena cama y es espaciosa pero la presión del agua del baño es muy escasa y huele a humedad, además hay unas alfombrillas que mejor que no estuvieran. Cabe también destacar que está al lado del restaurante La Pérgola, con música todos los días en directo hasta las 23h. La habitación superior está en la azotea donde se desayuna, a nosotros no nos molestó pero hay que tener en cuenta que si quieres despertar tarde es posible que el ruido del desayuno te desvele.

I was put in a substandard single room which was so dark and poorly lit.. O complained about it and was transferred to the other room the following day but that almost ruined my holiday..

• Amreen (1/5): Ground floor single room in a appalling condition - Ok, the property looks good overall, clean and friendly staff. My low rating is specifically for the room I was in with a single bed for one night and it was absolutely terrible value. I was there only for a few hours and met the main manager who seems to be awake at all hours and handles pretty much everything on his own. He is absolutely amazing and friendly and caring The low rating is for the single room on the ground floor which was in absolutely appalling condition for the price. Extremely tiny, no scope for any sort relaxed environment with the set up. May be other rooms are in better condition, I would not book there again for sure except for the manager who was amazing and great guy

• Jeanne-Laure (8/5): I really liked the location and the flexibility of the staff. - The Riad is located in the Medina and close to the main attractions in the city. There are many restaurants around. Possible to visit the city by foot. The staff is really kind too. However they should mention that the Riad can’t be served by a taxi/cab because the Medina is forbidden for all cars. Be prepared to walk from the drop-off/pick-up stop to the Riad when you arrive/leave from/to the airport.
• Panagiotis (8/5): - Staff were very friendly and helpful! Asked us about our plans and offered advice. They served freshly made breakfast at the Riad's rooftop. There is a jazz bar next to the Riad so there is quite a lot of noise up to 11pm but this is outside the Riad's control.

• Wen (9/5): 非常好的选择，以前都是在图片上看到很多游客发的的Riad照片，这回终于亲身体验到了。 - 工作人员们都非常友好热情，每天回到民宿都有咖啡热茶在等你，早餐非常丰盛，现做的饼很香，当地特产的芝麻杏仁阿甘油酱和果酱，酸奶都很好喝。尤其是小伙子Abdel特别有耐心，解答我们的各种问题，给我们的出行提出好的建议，我们非常感谢他。民宿的位置非常好，步行去各处参观都很方便。 卫生间感觉有些陈旧，可能是瓷砖有些破损老旧的缘故吧。

The breakfast is exceptional, super generous and delicious. The riad is based close to a great jazz bar so it is a bit noisy in the evenings but you get to enjoy some lovely music for free, enjoy! Aggiungerei una targa per indicare il nome della struttura, il primo giorno quando siamo arrivati non capivamo dove fosse.
• Simone (7/5): Einmal und nie wieder. - Vor meiner Buchung hatte ich die Bewertungen gelesen und mich dann entschieden, im Riad Mazaj 4 Nächte zu übernachten. Die von anderen Reisenden beschriebene Freundlichkeit des Personals kann ich nur bestätigen. Hatte man eine Frage oder ein Problem, wurde sofort Hilfe angeboten. Positiv zu erwähnen ist auch das Frühstück, welches auf einer Dachterrasse angeboten wurden. Die Lage ist sehr zentral, man befindet sich direkt in der Messina. Es gibt allerdings bessere Gegenden in Marrakesch. Was mir leider nicht gefallen hat, war mein Einzelzimmer. Es war sehr klein, dunkel und die Matratze war durch ein sehr dünnes Laken sehr gut zu erkennen und machte mir Angst, glücklicherweise wohnten noch keine Bettwanzen in ihr. Das Zimmer bestand aus einem Bett, einem kleinen Nachttisch und einem kleinen Einbauschrank. Nicht einmal ein Stuhl hätte in dem Raum noch Platz gehabt. Beim Duschen wurde fast immer zwangsläufig der ganze Raum überflutet, da es keine Abdeckung gab. Diese wäre auch nicht möglich gewesen, da die Dusche doch sehr eng war. Einen einzigen Haken für das Duschtuch gab es im Bad auch nicht. In der Nachbarschaft gibt es eine Bar mit Live Musik, diese "darf" man täglich bis 00.00 Uhr hören. Leider reichen diese aufgeführten Punkte zu einer Bewertung von maximal 7 Punkten.

The property is basic and needs some attention. There’s evidence of roof leaks and humidity smell in the room we stayed in and few other maintenance issues. The place is ideal for short stays due to its location, but it’s not a place to relax.

• Catalin (9/5): Foarte aproape de centru si de Jamma el Fna - Gazda foarte amabilă, servesc mereu ceai fierbinte și un fel de prăjitură. Locația este foarte bună, foarte aproape de principalele obiective turistice și de piața Jamma el Fna. Am stat la ultimul etaj, perete în perete cu un bar care avea programul de funcționare până la 23:00, era cam gălăgie până la aceea oră.

Rashid hjalp os på dagen vi ankom med at give os et kort og skrive ind alle de ting, som var værd at se - det var en kæmpe hjælp! Abdel, som ofte havde nattevagten hjalp med at gå ned i en tæppeforretning i souk og forhandle en god pris for os. Riaden har virkelig en god beliggenhed, men alligevel er der dejligt stille. Rengøringsdamen/kokken var helt utrolig sød, og lavede mynte-te til os flere gange, hvis vi bad om det. Virkelig stort og smukt værelse med flotte tæpper. Vi blev opgraderet gratis fordi der var et ledigt værelse, der var bedre end det vi havde booket. Der er en jazzbar som man kan høre indtil kl. 23, hvor de stopper. Men det er egentlig meget hyggeligt

• Carla (8/5): - Personal muy amable y muy atento. Nos guardaron las maletas tanto el día de llegada como el de salida. Desayuno contundente y completo, uno de los días marchamos antes de que se empezara a servir y nos prepararon una pequeña bolsita para que nos lo pudiéramos llevar. Localización ideal, dentro de la medina, muy cerca de la plaza Fnaa pero en una calle perpendicular lo que permitía descansar de el bullicio de las calles principales. Al lado de el hotel hay un restaurante con música en vivo hasta las 23:00h y se escucha mucho.

• Roberto (9/5): Highly recommend - The Riad Mazaj has been a pleasant surprise. At first, we were kinda scared of the small door, almost impossible to find. But when that door opened, we entered a magical place full of Moroccan vibes, subtle light and a comfortable room and nice personnel. The breakfast was really enjoyable and in Moroccan style. The room had a lot of space and all the comforts we needed. Better if you take the shower early at night (at least in the winter) as sometimes the water was just a little cold after 21:00.

• RAQUEL (10/5): Muy agusto! - Muy buena ubicación, menos de 5 min de la plaza, pero no se escuchan ruidos. El personal super amable y agradable, una lástima que nosotros sabíamos poco inglés y nada francés y no pudimos hablar más con ellos. El desayuno bastante rico. Estuvimos en otro riad y este nos gustó más.
