- Malachy (10/5): We spent 3 full days at the location and if you are a hiker or bicyclist, fantastic location. - The house, while built in the 1800’s, was very roomy and airy. Great location …. Walking distance to restaurants, pubs, coffee and food store. Lisa the host was very attentive and gave some great restaurant recommendations. There was nothing about the property or host that disappointed.

The house itself is spacious, cozy, warm and welcoming. The beds and bedding are of the best quality. Very well equipped property. Fantastic entertainment room.
The house isn't pristine throughout. It is well loved, well lived in. It is an old, charming property. We loved it and we were very comfortable there. We'd stay there again in a heart beat. Nothing, we were very comfortable there.

- Elizabeth (10/5): Absolutely increadable. - Lisa, the owner, was absolutely incredible from start to finish. From greeting us to giving us a tour of her beautiful house with the most comfortable beds and sumptuous Egyptian cotton bed linen! Every room had hotel-quality beds to sink into, and the bathrooms were so spacious and luxurious, complete with brilliant white cotton towels. We enjoyed watching movies in the huge cinema room with ample seating! The kitchen was equipped excellently, complete with an AGA, which we had great pleasure cooking on! The conservatory and bar were the icing on the cake, and the twinkly lights added to the beautiful experience. We are looking forward to our next visit. Thank you, Lisa, for a lovely family holiday in your beautiful home. Nothing!

The kitchen was so well equipped and had everything for both food and drink you could ever need. The beds were so comfortable and lots of places around the house to relax. Great modern showers and fresh towels were provided. The location and grounds of the house were so beautiful and just a short walk to the pub/restaurant, a cafe, a shop and close to Glendalough. A beautiful house with load of room and nooks and crannies and large open spaces, side by side. The kitchen is a dream to cook in and our group really enjoyed the cinema room.
The bedrooms and the beds were some of the nicest we ever stayed on, you can really feel the effort all over the house by the host. Beautifully decorated and spotless.
It is the perfect house for groups with its large kitchen and conservatory and its most loved feature- its bar!
Set in the stunning village of Laragh, 2 mins walk to the local pub- Lynams and 5 mins from delicious food at The Wicklow Heather and Glendalough on your door step!
Lisa is wonderful host, so warm and welcoming, full of local knowledge and interesting stories.
Our trip felt so Christmassy with all the stunning lights around the house.
We will come back for sure!

In a village with everything we needed for a family break. Large bathrooms and living areas. A stunning kitchen had everything wee needed including an AGA cooker. A large family living room with a massive TV and wood burner. The Host, Lisa was lovely, she checked we had everything and was helpful with finding things to do in the area. The house had absolutely everything we needed and included all the extras that make a family trip less stressful. Lisa kindly had milk and other necessities in for us arriving. We had a relaxing family break that both kids and adults throughly enjoyed. We can’t wait to visit again. The kids didn’t want to leave. Loved everything
- Robbie (10/5): Create amazing family memories - Love this house, it is such a gem in a beautiful and historic part of Ireland.
