Guest Reviews
- Sophie (10/5): Perfect for our needs - Location , layout and very homely N/A
- Donard (10/5): -
- Terence (10/5): - All good
- Gill (8/5): Lovely comfy house in a quiet costal village, perfectly located to explore the causeway coastline. - The house is in a great location, just opposite the pub and next to a lovely restaurant. Situated in a lovely little quiet village perfectly located for exploring the area. The photos of the house do not do it justice. The kitchen diner area has enough space for 10 of us and the bedrooms were beautiful decorated with comfy beds. A welcome book would have been helpful with house and village info in one place. Also
Practical info missing - putting bins out, departure time and requirements for departure eg stripping beds etc.
Our only negative comments were 1) was lack of shared toilets. A downstairs loo where the linen room was would be an idea and a toilet on the top floor rather than a tiny games room. When you have lots of friends using the house they don’t want to disturb people in the en suites so there was only one toilet available to most the people staying. 2) we had people walking though the back garden/yard - not a huge issue but it would be nice to have been told it’s not private.
- Cliodhna (10/5): Exceptional - Gorgeous decor. Plenty of rooms and all very spacious. Lots of extras provided, iron, hairdryer etc.
Right across from local bars where the staff were also lovely.
Hosts were immediately responsive on all queries
- Kerri (10/5): Beautiful house - Absolutely incredible stay at Rose House ahead of my wedding. The rooms are immaculately presented, spotlessly clean and there is loads of space. The whole house smelt beautiful and it was the perfect location for my guests and I. Will now be looking for reasons to stay again in future! Nothing
- Orla (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kathryn (10/5): A perfect house for a family weekend! - The house was beautifully decorated and very clean on arrival. Location was perfect and it had everything we needed for a multi-family stay. Ashlees communication was great and it was a very easy Check-In and out process. We will definitely visit again! Nothing - couldn’t fault it
- Jones (9/5): Superb - Love the decor, and character of the house. Staff were very helpfull Trying to control the temperature in each room

- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - Fabulous house great attention to detail and decor
Lovely location beside a playground Glenarm castle and Glenarm forest
Great communication with owners Not close to any restaurants but this wasn’t an issue with house
Takeaways nearby and good socialising space in house to bring own food
- Robert (10/5): We had a fantastic weekend - Fabulous property, beautiful rooms and very spacious. Immaculate throughout. 12 of us stayed and there was everything we needed on hand.
Would definitely recommend. Nothing
- Steph (10/5): Rose House is a charming and impeccably clean property with a convenient location and a cozy, home-like atmosphere. - Our experience at Rose House was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we stepped foot inside, we were enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere that truly felt like a home away from home. The thoughtful touch of candles lit in almost every room added a cozy ambiance, and the beds were impeccably made, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep.
The attention to detail and the impeccable cleanliness of the property left us in awe, and we couldn't believe the incredible value we received for our stay. Our 3-year-old was particularly taken with Rose House and was quite upset when it was time to leave, exclaiming, "But mummy, I just love Rose House!"
The location of the property was absolutely fantastic. With the coast literally on our doorstep, we were treated to breathtaking views and the soothing sound of the waves. Having a newsagents just two doors up and a couple of pubs facing the property made it incredibly convenient for us to enjoy our stay to the fullest. It truly is an ideal spot for anyone looking to experience the beauty of the area.
Overall, our stay at Rose House exceeded all expectations. The charming atmosphere, impeccable cleanliness, and convenient location made it a truly unforgettable experience. We highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a delightful and memorable getaway.
- Bamber (10/5): Thanks Dan and Ashlee. Rose House is an exceptional home for a family group and we loved Glenarm! - Ashlee met me at our arrival, warm and welcoming. A key lock gave us easy key management for a large group to share (9). We were wowed by the place, from the modern downstairs facilities, moving up to a period two level home, that has been raised to modern high standards, with classic, artful decoration. Four couples and a single were easily accommodated in the spacious rooms, (two ensuite) with two rooms spare. Dan and Ashlee left bread, milk, tea, pizza, etc... very thoughtful. Showers were great, as were the facilities in general. Rose House was spacious, clean and tidy. with welcoming candles burning, fragrant.
The setting - Walk out the font door, turn left walk 5 minutes and you are in a forest that you can walk for 50 minutes and still not reach the furthest point; river, different paths, nature. - Walk straight from the front door (crossing carefully :)) and you'll reach the walled gardens. From your window you'll see 2 minutes walk away a church that was a friary, built on ancient church grounds, beyond that the sea. Then there's the castle, workshops etc, two excellent wee pubs(or are they one but split?) a few meters from your front door... it's was a great venue for a small family birthday party, we loved it! I can't criticise anything really!
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional retreat in a charming village - Spacious, well designed and immaculately presented house.
Every thing was exceptionally planned out and so many personal touches to make it extra special (toys for kids available, fresh provisions, flowers and scented candles on arrival) Lack of parking isn’t ideal but carpark situated seconds away.
- Pamela (10/5): The perfect weekend away with the family and we would highly recommend - Gorgeous Georgian home, extremely well appointed and spotless.
Very spacious and well equipped with all you need for your stay including a play room and toys for kids.
Every room having fresh towels and lovely bed Linen.
Dan and Ashlee where excellent hosts and ensured we had the perfect stay.
Lovely seaside village with park and football play area a short stroll away which is great for kids.
- Fulham (10/5): Loved my stay - Clean house, candles lighting when we arrived. The place smelled lovely. The decor in the house is stunning. The location was good in between to Belfast City center and th giants causeway.
- Anonymous (10/5): Great location, fresh, clean and well appointed. Ashlee was a great help also leaving us some fresh bread, milk and eggs - Great location, fresh, clean and well appointed. Ashlee was a great help also leaving us some fresh bread, milk and eggs.
