• SWARANDEEP SINGH (9/5): Comfortable and peaceful Stay - The location was very peaceful with a good view. Breakfast was good, healthy and more than enough for my family. The only thing was the steep colony approach road which can be bit tiresome for Senior Citizens. The owners were very helpful in arranging taxi services for us in very short time. Not too far from the MALL road.

• Imran (10/5): Perfect Homestay - I must say it's an amazing homestay with a beautiful view from the windows. The rooms are well cleaned and maintained properly and the washroom is also well cleaned. The owner of this stay is very humble and cooperative. It's a perfect place to stay if you're visiting Darjeeling. The route to visit here on foot is kind of problematic for those who have knee problems or heart problems. Because to reach here you have to walk down the steep slope but if you're on vehicle (cars/bike) it would be then a piece of cake.

• Halim (8/5): Very good for young people without much luggage or small children. - Great host, very polite, helpful and pleasing. The room is also very nice and cozy. Very neat and good ambiance. View from the room was pretty good. The homestay is away from the main road and it's too steep. It's very difficult to carry luggage or with children. Going up from homestay to the main road is very tough.

• Adithya (10/5): Exceptional - I was a bit worried about my middled aged parents since it was off season (July) and a high altitude area since we were from plains (Chennai), but it turned out to be wrong when hosts Richard and Anamika took such a great care of us in their lovely and comfortable homestay. We had no hesitations asking any of our requirements. They even cooked delicious local dishes for us. The driver they had arranged for local travel, Sanjay da turned out to be super-friendly and covered all possible places with utmost care and patience. Even though it was an off season, we had the best time in Darjeeling! We are really touched by hospitality received and will be missing our stay carrying bagful of memories. I wholeheartedly recommend to all travellers to book at Nyano Ghar for a comfortable stay NA

• Boudhayan (10/5): Exceptional - Room size was quite good. It looked like a suite room, since the bedroom was attached with another room. Food was really good. My daughter really liked. The owner of the Homestay was very helpful. They took us to visit nearby tourist locations. The zoo and botanical garden are pretty near to this stay. The hotel is at the slope of the hill. Therefore, we used to walk up the hill to reach the main road.

The rooms were incredibly spacious, providing ample room even for just the two of us as a couple. It truly felt like a proper family space, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Anamika mam and her husband, the hosts of the homestay, were beyond amazing. Their prompt and attentive care for their guests was remarkable. Right from the beginning, they assisted us in locating the place, going the extra mile by having Anamika mam's husband personally guide us from the road to their home. This level of dedication and hospitality immediately set a positive tone for our stay. The attention to detail was impressive. The rooms were well-stocked with all necessary amenities such as toiletries, towels, blankets, and clean bedsheets. Additionally, the unexpected surprise of a complimentary wholesome breakfast for the duration of our stay was delightful. It truly showed their commitment to ensuring a pleasant experience for their guests. What touched us the most was their genuine concern for our well-being. They went above and beyond by personally driving us to the station, relieving us of any worries about managing our luggage. We felt a sense of guilt for inconveniencing them, but their kindness and willingness to assist us were truly heartwarming. Their act of going out of their way to make our departure hassle-free left a lasting impression on us. Moreover, Sir (Anamika mam's husband) even helped us arrange a cab with a driver for sightseeing, despite our last-minute request. His efforts and willingness to accommodate our needs showed their dedication to ensuring our comfort and enjoyment during our stay. Overall, our experience at this homestay was nothing short of excellent. I highly recommend this homestay to anyone seeking a comfortable and welcoming accommodation experience.
