• Peter (10/5): A wonderful place - A spacious apartment with a kitchen, large bathroom, and veranda furnished with a table and two daybeds. From the veranda, a view of red and white flowers and the blue ocean. Wonderful! A strong breeze blows in from the sea, cooling the heat. At night, you can hear the waves. Simon and Aisha are very friendly. One wall is lined with books, among them many classics. Lucky Mr. Lucio! "All one needs is the sea [a garden] and a library" (freely adapted from Cicero). We felt very good there! Thank you very much!

The property has no restaurant or bar, but there are plenty of places close by at cheap prices The lounge bed covers are just too dirty with stains.no towels for The pool . It's still a good place for all other reasons .
• Waruingi (9/5): Amazing is an understatement. This is a perfect holiday villa. - The hosts and staff were really amazing. Lucio was a super kind host, Marco and Aisha were very keen to make sure we got everything we needed in the room. The room size was large enough for the 3 of us The ocean view was amazing/ spectacular from the room The pool is great, clean and overlooks the beach and ocean, so gorgeous It is a calm, quiet and serene place for a holiday in the coast There is easy access to Malindi town and nearby restaurants Lucio was kind enough to allow us late check out on the day of our travel back. This was very considerate of him.

• Ngei (10/5): I had a blast. Everyone was welcoming and very friendly. - The location was excellent. Close proximity to town, restaurants, the Marine park, Malindi Airport, the market and other important facilities like the Museum, Vasco Da Gama Pillar and other key monuments. There is no facility within the premise to park one's car.
• Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional - Great beachfront apartment and patio. The only problem is that the local drivers don't recognize the name White Lion. We had to call for directions.

• Aufmesser (8/5): Good. - It's right on the beach. The staff are literal angels. We thought there was a kitchen when booking but the staff fixed it for us and gave us a table cooker. Many restaurants in the area. All in all good value for money, you get what you pay for and the beach is nice. It's no fault of the owner but if you're weighing between Malindi and Watamu, go to Watamu, the beach is better. The beach boys here are really bad, they don't leave you alone no matter how much you say no and one of them stole from us, avoid them. The pool isn't that good to swim in. It's not really full and it's aged. Also for payment they don't take card which is quite a hustle because you have to go withdraw money in town.

This place names " Happy Site" .Personal not help us to find this place, when we called. Gate keeper did not know that this guest house was in the area . In the rooms much ants, everywhere.

I think I liked everything, my only dislike was that locals at the beach or at the streets were eager to get to you and sell or offer you smth. Seems the only way to avoid these attention is to join excursions.

• Tony (5/5): Passable - The location and the views were spectacular Cleanliness is not up to standard. Apparently the cleaning person doesn't show up on Sundays. The caretaker showed little to no concern when I called him in the middle of the night after my family got ill from some food poisoning. I found the gatekeeper to be more concerned. It's a good place to visit but they need to up their hospitality game.

• Faith (8/5): Our stay was awesome! - Great villas on beach front and as requested we got a sea view apartment... the view was great and the ocean waves at night were music to my ears. The salty ocean like water swimming pool facing the ocean was great, the ambience was peaceful. Got to drink some 'madafu'(coconut water) harvested from the compound though were sold to us at a higher price than market price! The villa was spacious and the inside facilities were good, the kitchen cutlery was good, the fridge, microwave, cooker all in good condition. The bedroom had both AC and fan, the living room had a fun, but it would be good to have AC as well in the living room. The living room couch bed came in handy. The balcony couches were great! The basic toiletries were provided and c;leaning was done on a daily basis. I liked the wall paintings and the antique look of the furniture. There was a very nice collections of books inside the living room that formed part of the decoration and looked interesting to read but were all in Italian, may be add some English collection too! The host Lucio is fantastic and welcoming and so are the staff Fondo and Aisha, . Walks at the beach were good, there was an Italian restaurant and some nice bar with some good music in the neighbourhood. A facelift to the facility will really help like repainting. We had ants coming to the garbage bag, any help to reduce this would be great. Few restaurants in the area so outsourcing food can be a challenge especially if you want a taste of the local foods Daily sweeping of sea weeds on the beach would really help to enjoy the white sandy beach No TV Upgrade bath towels

The peaceful ambiance, flawless decor, and exceptional cleanliness inspired various activities like exercising, yoga, meditation, cooking, and working, all while fostering a serene mindset over the last 12 nights. I recommend this place.

• 30pah (9/5): A very enjoyable and great value ocean front property! - Great location, front row with a balcony overlooking the ocean. The day bed on the balcony and the day bed inside the unit. Very responsive owner. There was an issue with the electricity and the air conditioning, that made the nights hot and unpleasant, but it was out of the owners control. The owner offered a very late checkout on the date of departure to compensate for the issues faced.

• Salochanee (10/5): Perfect Beach Stay - The location is perfect, it's meters away from the ocean where you can hear the waves crashing. Francis who manages the property was excellent with his communication, the owner Lucio was extremely hospitable. The housekeeper was super friendly. The decor of the interior and patio was on point to idealist setting of a beach home - modern with eclectic pieces of unusual furniture. Loved everything about this place and will be back. The host and staff are extremely passionate about hosting guests. I wish Lucio many happy years of hosting guests in this sweet spot in Malindi
• Pieter (6/5): Pleasant - location right at the beach the place was double booked - when we arrived it turned out they had allowed the previous guests to stay an extra night, which meant we had to stay in a different accommodation and move after the first night. This was not communicated to us in advance and was a disappointment.

The staff Francis n Aisha were very available, cooperative, and very helpful. You want to work with them again. The beach is very dirty in comparison to the neighbouring hotels. Could you find a way of clearing the leaves there? We feel like cleaning would make this place more heavenly with white sandy beaches.
