- Rebecca (10/5): Incredible from start to finish - Where to begin!! The location and property itself is just absolutely beautiful. The views, the decor, the breakfast and the service was 10/10. The bed was so comfy, the amenities are high quality and the views at breakfast were unforgettable. It’s situated really high up and lots of steps, so something to be conscious of but expected if you want the views! Nothing!

The view was simply breathtaking and made every morning and evening feel special. We were also lucky to stay here during the opening of the owners’ gelato shop, and we wholeheartedly recommend everyone to try it. The gelato is unbelievably delicious, natural, and clearly made with love and passion. You can truly feel how much care goes into every guest experience and how deeply the owners love what they do.

Breakfast is fresh and your private balcony has rockstar views across to Positano with the wow factor you hope for. Praiano is quiet and charming and a relief after the tourist scrum if Amalfi or Positano! The room is lovely but a bit small for the price (but then everything on the coast is megabucks!)

- Karina (10/5): - Just finished our little Italy trip and what can I say? La Barbera is honestly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed - and I don’t say that lightly. The staff is simply incredible.. Going the extra mile? They basically sprint it! So attentive, caring, and genuinely just good people. The whole place felt like home - peaceful, quiet, spotless - and everything smelled like lemons! The interior is gorgeous and authentically Italian, like stepping into a warm, homey space you somehow already have memories of. I don't even have a word to accurately describe the special aura this place has. Roberto helped with everything from booking taxis to giving us spot-on recommendations, and the little things he and Francesco did throughout our stay made such a difference. Francesco even drove us to the restaurant they helped book for us - which ended up being insane. Picture dining between caves with the freshest fish of the day was unreal. And the breakfast deserves its own award. Hands down the best we’ve ever had. The food, the handmade plates, the view… it was all perfection embodied. You have to experience it in order to know how special it is. Beautiful location, top-tier hospitality, unforgettable vibe. I'm afraid nothing else will compare.

Beautiful sunsets every night and a perfect place to hangout during the day. Praiano is such a lovely town, much more relaxed than the more popular Positano just a 10 minute drive away. The accommodation was exquisite, tastefully decorated, clean with the most wonderful views of the coast from Praiano, Positano all the way to Capri. The hot tub was a bonus (especially after our walk to the convent above Praiano). The breakfast was freshly made to our choice and flexible so we could get off early for our boat trip. Hosts were welcoming and nice also got great tips from Silvia who was ready to help us anytime. Patio felt private with jacuzzi and very nice outdoor shower. Loved everything from breakfast with views of Capri to Positano to the last bit of design detail like the handmade tiles and ceramics.

All the staff were amazing, friendly and so helpful. The rooms were beautiful and we had the surprise of having a hot tub on our balcony when we arrived. The whole property was so clean and smelled amazing. My husband has celiac disease and there were so many alternatives offered to him at breakfast which was fabulous.

Sylvia was so helpful and welcoming, on our arrival we had drinks and snacks waiting for us, much needed after a long drive from Naples. The hot tub on the balcony was a real treat and just what we needed to relax and celebrate together. I can't fault la Barbera...Praiano has a fair few steps so that's just one thing to be aware of.

- Lauren (10/5): Exceptional - La Barbera is truly my favorite place I have ever stayed and I have traveled many places across the world. They truly have thought of every little detail. I have never slept better in Europe in any other location. The breakfast is so incredible I had a nightmare one night that I forgot to set an alarm and missed it. Thank god that was not real. Truly an unforgettable experience and I will be back to this amazing B&B and town. Definitely recommend Praiano to stay, they have plenty of entertainment but far less people and traffic. The path of gods hike is also super easy to get too from this location. Definitely recommend that as well if you’re a fairly fit/mobile person. We also rented a scooter for a day in town, and this was a fantastic way to get around. My husband has a motorcycle license however, so I will say be cautious if you are not familiar with them. We even ended up adding a night to our original planned stay (our same room ended up being available), because we were so in love!! Nothing.

Roberto, Francesco, and Sylvia are excellent hosts--very knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive. They were readily available to answer all my questions before and during my stay. Roberto picked my husband and I up from the bus stop upon our arrival in Praiano and drove us up the hill with our luggage. He was also available to help us get our luggage back down the hill when we departed. The views from our room were stunning, and the custom breakfast served each morning was a great start to each day. If we travel back to the Amalfi Coast area, we will rebook at La Barbara!!!!! Nothing...everything was perfect.

Everything exceeded our expectations and our stay at La Babera was the highlight of our entire trip. From the moment we arrived, Roberto, Francesco and Slyvia ensured that we were extremely looked after and went the extra mile to provide us with local recommendations and helped us book day trips, restaurant reservations etc. Their hospitality was incredible! - Peter (10/5): I want to come back! - I have no idea where to start. This place was beyond amazing. From the moment you go to Praiano, they were able to pick us up at the bus station to the hotel. They greeted us with their delicious and refreshing lemon and orange juice. I let them know prior that we were on our honeymoon and they had the bed decorated with flowers and a champagne for us in the room. We were also surprised that our room was upgraded with a Jacuzzi and a huge terrace. The breakfast was so delicious and fresh. The cake is cooked by the wonderful women every day and it's spectacular. The service was excellent and decor screams Italy. Sylvia was sooo sooo nice. She prepared for us breakfast early because she knew we had a cruise early in the day. This hotel was the best part of our trip. The restaurant recommendations were on point as well. Nothing!

- Isabella (10/5): The absolute perfect dreamy stay in Praiano with unmatched hospitality - There is simply not one thing we could fault during our stay at La Barberba. Before we had even arrived, Roberto so kindly arranged for bookings in the local area (Da Adolfo- which we could not have done without him). The room was absolutely perfect, deck chairs, a jacuzzi and a view like no other. The other reviews are true- the breakfast was simply amazing- everything you could want and more. The only thing to note for other travellers is that La Barbera is quite high up in Priano, so it is a bit of walking down to the main area, and further down to the beach. But once you get back to La Barbera and see that beautiful view, you are reminded that it is worth it. Thank you sincerely to the whole team, we have never experienced hospitality like it- we can only hope to return in the future.

- Rachel (10/5): The five days we spent at La Barbera were a little slice of heaven. - My husband and I could not be more pleased with our stay at La Barbera. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the most lovely staff, who were all genuinely so nice and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast each morning was heaven: the fresh OJ! The homemade yogurt! The daily cake! And our room? It's what dreams are made of. A jacuzzi on the balcony and the most beautiful view. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful time, offering us fresh juice and aperativo in the afternoon. And for my birthday, they surprised me with flowers and a gift. I was truly blown away. It's the best B&B I've ever stayed in. We loved everything. There's nothing that we didn't like.

La Barbera is immaculate and feels fresh and luxurious for a small place - the staff are all so friendly and helpful and make you feel so welcome and valued. This was our second visit and it was lovely to be welcomed back like family. The breakfast is the best you’ll find anywhere! The rooms with the tubs make the holiday feel so special and allow you to enjoy the views whether it’s hot or cold! The rooms are so clean and smell gorgeous and the decoration throughout is evocative of the amalfi coast whilst being chic and stylish. We had excellent recommendations for places to eat and help arranging transport which was essential during a very hot week! We couldn’t have been looked after better by Sylvia, Roberto and Francesco and the wonderful ladies who support the running of this paradise. Nothing - only that I can’t stay every weekend!
- Sophie (10/5): We spent part of our honeymoon at La Barbera and cannot speak highly enough of the property itself and the wonderful own - The breakfast is amazing - I’ve yet to experience a better one in any hotel I’ve stayed in. View from the terrace where breakfast is served is beautiful. The owners and all the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They gave us fantastic recommendations on things to do, where to eat and how to get around the local area. The location is relatively quiet compared with Positano (which is a short bus ride away), so great for enjoying the Amalfi Coast if you’re looking for a more peaceful environment with fewer crowds. Air conditioning is both effective and quiet (which was a massive win for extreme temperatures in July). The properly itself is beautiful and every detail has been thought through with love and care. The steps to the main town and bus routes etc are a killer in high temperatures. It’s a necessary trade off for the beautiful views and setting of the property, but may not suit people with small children or mobility issues.
- John (10/5): If staying on Almafi coast, this is the no.1 place to stay - Amazing location and staff. Never stayed in such an amazing bed and breakfast, cannot recommend this place enough if your staying in the area. Breakfast is incredible, views make it hard to leave. Nothing, 10 out of 10

- Michael (10/5): Words cannot describe just how amazing La Barbera is - Words cannot describe just how amazing our stay was. Firstly a massive thank you to the staff Roberto, Francesco and Sylvia. Their attention detail, service and willing to go above and beyond for there guest was simply outstanding. Nothing was too much to ask for. The design in the rooms are spectacular, every little detail has been thought of to truly represent Praino. The view is absolutely out of this world. Yet again, words cannot describe it. We also had a hot tub that we enjoyed everyday ! The breakfast was exceptional every morning. The wide range of choice was more than we expected. If your planning a trip to Positano DONT! Praino is the only way to go. There are no crowds, the beaches are far nicer and the restaurants (in my opinion better than Positano) eat to get in as long as you book that day. My wife and I travel extensively and are lucky to have stayed at some of the best hotels throughout the world. La Barbera has left such an impression on us that we will be guest of theirs for life when coming to Italy. If you go to Praino, this is the only place to stay NOTHING! NOTHING! NOTHING! Just my depression having to leave ! Lol
