- Martin (10/5): Exceptional accommodation in a quiet location. - Kate and Dom are lovely hosts. We had the pleasure of speaking with them both.
The accommodation rooms are exceptional from a point of view of decor and cleanliness. There are views from every room, including the bathroom!
Very comfortable bed and rooms are also spacious. It is exceptionally quiet but you are within 5 minutes from Snape Maltings and a short distance from Orford or Aldburgh.
In our view faultless. Nothing from our point of view.
- Rosemary (10/5): - The continental breakfast was fine but the location is fantastic.

We loved our stay here, the river front location was perfect and made for some lovely evenings. Plenty of walking options and good location to surrounding villages/towns.
- Clare (10/5): -
- Dee (9/5): The beautiful River View - River View has the most peaceful, tranquil setting with views across the lawn of an ever changing river scape that you never tire of looking out on.
Inside the decor is tasteful and well maintained...each room light, airy and very spacious.
The kitchen area is well equipped and breakfast goodies are changed or topped up daily with copious amounts of water to drink and boil for tea and coffee.
Because there is no sink, any washing up is whisked away and returned clean daily...what a treat!
Snape Maltings is only a 20 minute walk away along the river, which is great for browsing and stocking up on all things delicious from their wonderful deli.
My daughter and I visit this area every year and this is by far the best and our favourite place...we absolutely loved our stay at River View! You accees River View via a narrow country lane, which has quite a camber and my low slung VW Golf was not a fan, but slow and steady and we made it in and out.
Not really a "Didn't Like" but it would have been really useful to have a couple of hobs...just to rustle up a quick bowl of pasta,..I think three nights without cooking facilities is probably the max.

Trees, birdsong, footpaths going to Snape Ma - Accommodation was excellent - pleasant, clean decor, interesting paintings and books. Windows looking out onto fabulous riverscape. Great shower facility. No kitchen but good quality breakfast ingredients and drinks provided. The owners, who live next door seemed like lovely people - interested and helpful without being in any way intrusive. Nothing I didnât like
- Mark (10/5): River View didnât disappoint. It is in a lovely location overlooking the river, so peaceful and tranquil. We will return - Location and cleanliness of the property. The excellent choice of breakfast options. Nothing really
- Suzanne (9/5): Lovely accommodation in a peaceful but connected area - Lovely location on the estuary in a well kept, comfortable and practical property. Fresh flowers in 2 rooms was a plus. Traveling when we have, it means that with the light nights we could walk to and from the three excellent pub/restaurants in Snape via the footpath. Approx 25 minutes each way. Will stay again.

Breakfast was lovely, mainly granola, toasts and jams with yogurt and fresh fruit.
Free parking and trails to local walks to take in the scenery.
There are local pubs and the Maltings at Snape Bridge just a few miles drive away.
Kate and Dom are fabulous hosts living nearby and nothing was too much trouble. Nothing at all - is was stunning and beautiful.
- Leah (10/5): Perfect - It's impossible to do this place justice with photos - it's simply gorgeous. The furnishings and colour palette make you feel instantly relaxed and the ever changing views of the estuary are sublime. You could just sit and stare out the window all day.
