• Karen (9/5): Lovely stay in a very comfortable, clean & centrally located sleep-out. - Very centrally located & only a short stroll from all of the shops/cafes and beach. The place was small but had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. We met the friendly host during our stay & also received bonus visits from Sootie the cat who liked to lounge outside the cabin. The views from the deck were absolutely stunning & it was a very peaceful stay. Nowhere to hang up any clothes/coats as it’s a very small cabin; albeit not a major issue for us as we were there for a short visit.

Rod was very friendly and welco - It was very convenient for the town, with a stunning view. Also, it was very clean Our only negative- there was no real cooking facilities - a combination oven/ microwave could sit on top of the fridge, and would make a big difference. Fortunately, we could afford to eat out every meal, even although we brought our own food, which we couldn’t cook. Not all guests may be as fortunate as us, to afford to eat out every meal.

• Makereta (10/5): Raglan Gem - This private and quiet cabin sits overlooking the harbour at Raglan near to the township. It is next to the main house, with its own entrance and deck I don't normally like smaller accommodation spaces on principle. However the owners have designed it so cleverly. It isn't large but is well-insulated, the bed is large and comfy, the shower was roomy and had great pressure, bathroom light and airy, the kitchen sink and bench area solid and wide enough to get stuff done without having to juggle. It feels bigger than it is and such a convenient location! Every detail was so well thought out, and Deb our lovely hostess, who was there to meet us, had prepared detailed instructions as to rules, tips, and how the cabin works. We had the best sleep..Will definitely be back. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that it was a flying visit and we couldn't stay longer.
