• Karin (7/5): Guesthouse für Kurzaufenthalt - Die Zimmer sind liebevoll hergerichtet, ebenso wie das Frühstückskörbchen. Alles ist sauber und gepflegt. Auf Extrawünsche wird sofort eingegangen und das Personal kümmert sich. Unmittelbar neben dem Guesthouse befindet sich ein italienisches Restaurant "Otto" mit hervorragendem Essen und Service. Das Personal dort ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Guesthouse liegt an einer viel befahrenen Straße, wo ab 5 Uhr morgens die Schwerstlastwägen Richtung Hafen fahren. An der Rezeption erfolgt eine Schlüsselübergabe per Briefkuvert. Die Rezeption ist auch nicht besetzt. Man erhält daher auch keine Hilfestellungen oder Empfehlungen. Das französische Bett ist höchstens 1,40 m breit mit einer einzigen Zudecke.

• Gary (10/5): A great experience with a very much "hands off" approach by the owners. - The room was spotless and well appointed. The fan proved invaluable on two very hot nights. The continental breakfast was more than sufficient with fresh fruit and a marvellous croissant each morning together with jam and butter. The best part about the location was that it is very close to two exceptional restaurants. I did not have much interaction with the staff but observed a good work ethic on the morning of my departure while awaiting my taxi to the airport. The only fault re the cleanliness of the room was that the "fins" on the extractor fan had not been cleaned in some time so I cleaned them. The guest house is located a good fifteen minutes from the centre of town which has its pros and cons but convenient for those who enjoy a good stroll.

La chambre avec une literie parfaite et tous les équipements nécessaires (en sus : le service à thé/café avec lait, sucre,... à volonté) + salle d'eau accolée : propreté parfaite et complètement insonorisée. La gentillesse du personnel, très à l'écoute et très cool en même temps. Les petits déjeuners très sympas, servis en paniers individuels (nous avons eu la chance, vu la météo exceptionnelle, de les prendre chaque matin dans le patio partagé!) RAS

Lovely breakfasts and plenty of coffee/tea/milk sachets. Good use of space in the bedroom and easy access large storage cupboard. Comfy beds, lots of electrical sockets and clean bathroom. The ground floor room was next to the reception desk so we could hear conversations when people were checking in/out. Not really an issue but it did wake us up one morning.

Il faudrait une salle spécifique pouvant accueillir les hôtes pour le petit déjeuner , un panier devant une porte de chambre n'a rien d'attrayant alors qu'on loue les petits-déjeuners anglais à Guernesey , on n'en a pas vu la couleur . Prendre le petit déjeuner dans une chambre sur un bout de lit ou une tablette de 80cm de longueur ce n'est pas le rêve !!

And the continental breakfast delivered to our door each morning was a lovely touch. Highly recommend Nothing not to like.

Pas de salle de petit déjeuner, pas de convivialité, dommage dans une chambre d'hôtes. Deuxième chose, personne à l'accueil.! Ensuite, bain de pieds après la douche !!!!

• Michael (9/5): St George's Guest House Guernsey - In a good location a ten minute walk into central St Peter Port, and there are shops close to the guest house and a pub over the road. It is spotlessly clean and the room I was in was comfortable. I would stay here again. There was nothing I did not like.

• Christelle (3/5): Déçu : mauvais rapport qualité / prix. - L'emplacement est bien, à quelques minutes à pieds du port. La literie est correcte. Le panier petit déjeuner est correct, même si quand on lit le descriptif de la location on sattent à un peu plus que deux croissants, 250 ml de lait, deux yaourt, une portion de céréales, et du raisin pour le petit déjeuner de deux adultes. Mais bon le livret d'accueil indique que le petit déjeuner est offert. Que voulez vous critiquer... belle façon d'éviter les remarques mais clairement le petit déjeuner on.le paye dans le prix de la chambre! Il n'y a personne pour vous accueillir,peut importe l'heure d'arrivée. Pour notre chambre la 19, la salle de bain est plus un couloir avec douche lavabo et WC, inadmissible vu le prix de la nuit. Nous douche a fait du gouttes à gouttes tout le temps de notre sejour(une nuit) personne à qui l'indiquer. Nous avons du éponger avec le linge de toilette mis à disposition Pas d espace piur prendre le petit déjeuner déposé à la porte de la chambre. Beaucoup de bruit à partir d'environ 6h du matin : préparation des petits déjeuner, menage des chambre vides, musique, parlons fortes. Le personnel ne respect pas le repos des voyageurs. Le parking est indiqué gratuit dans la rue, attention c'est une zone à disque, avec peu de place, ça n'est pas un parking ou l'on peu laisser sa voiture quelques jours. Notre bateau d'arrivée sur l'île à été décalé d'un jour, aucun geste de l'héberger pour la nuit non utilisée. Même s'il n'est pas obligé, le geste commercial aurait été apprécié.

• Sandrine (10/5): Très bon rapport qualité prix - Hotel idéalement situé à 15 minutes de marche du centre ville de Saint Peter port ou accessible en bus avec un arrêt à quelques mètres de l'hôtel. Petit déjeuner servi chaque matin dans un panier en osier déposé devant notre porte dès 7h30. Cela laisse la liberté de prendre notre petit déjeuner dans la chambre tranquillement lorsqu'on se réveille. Restaurants et pub tout près de l'hôtel. Peut-être un peu bruyant côté mer car boulevard passe juste devant mais largement compensé par la vue et le soleil levant sur la baie.

Thank you so much! - I absolutely appreciated the attentiveness and politeness of the staff, along with a clean room, and daily towel changes. The bed in my room had an incredibly uncomfortable mattress that caused me a bit of back pain. However when I brought this up to the staff, they immediately replaced the mattress with a new and very comfortable one. Turn outs that during my stay the inn was doing an entire refresh and had not yet gotten to my room

Gutes Preis/Leistungsverhätnis Duschen mit Durchlauferhitzer ist ein besonderes Erlebnis 🤪 Frühstückskorb auf dem Zimmer fand ich anfänglich gewöhnungsbedürftig. Wir konnten dank gutem Wetter im Innenhof frühstücken und die Krümel der Croissants dort lassen. 😉

• Sarah (7/5): - My complaint about limited bedroom seating to eat breakfast was dealt with very considerately by the owner, resulting in a room change with more space. Breakfast hampers were quite generous. Before, the room change, the restricted seating for 2 people to eat breakfast in the room.( no breakfast room, only outside tables and chairs) The awkward lighting for the shower room in the replacement bedroom ( no internal switch) but instead a switch above the door outside ( needed to be tall to reach it) and the reading spotlights above the double bed didn't work - I think teething problems as a result of new ownership. The triple room 9, was stifling at all times with the radiator off and windows open.
• Lilla (8/5): For Short get aways - Seafront location, 20 min walk from town centre, easy access to public transport, spacious clean rooms. Squeaky front door, noisy guests chatting loudly at the front entrance, and smokers in/ out of property smoking directly outside downstairs room 11. No space to congregate (eat) or socialise together if travelling with other people, same every day pastry and bread heavy breakfasts. 10am check out- too early!

• Nigel (8/5): Great value, good location, good views - Very comfy room, very clean bathroom, good location, nice breakfast hamper delivered to your door. We had a nice sea view in room 1. The only drawbacks are no fridge and no A/C. We visited in April with temps only around 10C outside at night, yet the room was very hot, making sleep challenging. We couldn't have the window open because it overlooks the island's busiest road, with traffic throughout the night (not a lot, but enough to keep you awake if you open it).
• Alison (8/5): Lovely comfortable stay - Lovely bright, spacious, clean and comfortable room. Great views. Lovely breakfast basket each morning. Road outside is busy and therefore quite noisy. Pub next door was noisy at times.

Z hostelu blisko do centrum miasta, dworca autobusowego, sklepów, zabytków, mariny i zamku. Obok 2 puby, sklep Coop. Przyjemny i wystarczająco duży pokój z łazienką - nr 4. Łazienka z oknem. Wygodne łóżko, bardzo czysto. Przyjechałam wieczorem po 22.00, a klucze czekały na mnie w recepcji, w kopercie. Super śniadanie w wiklinowym koszu zostawionym rano pod drzwiami. bez uwag negatywnych.

• Kim (9/5): - Good value for money and the location is excellent My only slight criticism is the lack of hot/savory breakfast. I know the breakfast basket has been in operation for a few years but for me it's not what I would pick every day (always sweet products)

• ROB (10/5): Two very comfortable nights, room was excellent, clean bed and pillows absolutely lovely. Staff very approachable and pl - It was clean very comfortable and the staff very pleasant. No hot water to sink but was not a problem.
