• Daniela (6/5): Good enough. - The location is amazing! You are basically staying in the walls of the palace so very easy to get around the old city. Host was very helpful and advised about free parking and communication was great and fairly quick responses. The bathroom smells urine. I have let the host know and he said he would speak to the cleaner. I didn't realise when booking that there was no microwave available so for us was a bit of an inconvenience as we would rather have a morning coffee in the accomodation. However, I appreciate this will not be an issue to everyone. There was a fridge and a washing machine, which would be hepatitis to many. However, the fridge was very noisy at night so it might be an issue to some but not everyone. I also didn't realise there would be stairs so it might not be suitable to everyone.
• Marcus (5/5): Not worth it, despite the location. - Good location, although not different from many other options in the city. The main advantage is that it was the lowest price we found in the area. However, you get what you pay for. I had to inform the host multiple times about my arrival: first when I left the previous city at the planned time, then upon arriving at the bus station, and again when we reached the apartment so they could leave the door unlocked. This felt completely excessive for travelers on an international trip with limited internet access. The street next to the palace has a slight incline. Access to the room is via a narrow and dirty staircase, with a curtain trying to hide what looks like a cluttered storage area full of miscellaneous items. The corridor smells like a mix of cigarette smoke and cheap perfume. A dog barks loudly and nonstop every time you enter or exit the place. The apartment is below the standard shown in the photos. It was the least clean and least pleasant place we stayed during our one-month trip through Europe. The kettle had what looked like burnt milk at the bottom. The sheets, duvet, and pillows were of poor quality and did not seem clean. The towels were rough. They did not honor the checkout time shown on the website. When we asked for clarification, they were rude and acted as if they were doing us a favor. They allowed us to extend our stay by 15 minutes, which we chose to ignore and left earlier instead. I would not stay here again.

First of all in the listing it said it have free parking then owner says the parking is on public road 300 meters away I arrived at midnight and there was nowhere to park I spent 1.5 hrs trying to find a parking place, owner didnt even care to help. Then me and family arrived, the place was reeking of mold and bed bugs and bugs. We stayed for 5 mins and left this place.

• Bogus2 (5/5): - . The biggest charm of this apartment is location. It's just right on the stoney wall, part of the palace. So you can easily return to your place after the day. BUT that's all. The apartment seemed like it hasn't cleaned at all. On the bed sheet, table mats, towels and every single stuff inside we could see piles of dust with eyesight. Plus the one side of closet was full of cleaning stuffs so we couldn't use it to put our clothing. At night was even more horrible. There was a four-membered family living upstairs with a dog, the kids were so spoiled throwing all the things downstairs, running around and screaming from around 8pm since we returned from our tour. The apartment was completely vulnerable for those noises. We were almost pissed off and ran upstairs. It lasted a couple of hours and that drove us going crazy. LASTLY THE BIGGEST THING IS THAT if you don't smoke, PLZ AVOID !! The smell of smoking which hasn't been ventilated for thousands of years, pretty much probably since the palace was built, would welcome you. It is enough for truly making you suffer severe headache throughout your stay. Anyway, in short, if you're the person who is planning to just pass out at night after a really hard day, just go for it. But other than that, plz don't take this risk.
• MARILYN (8/5): A PERFECT LOCATION: - Excellent location; in the walls of Diocletian’s Palace. Handy to bus, train, taxis, airport shuttle, port. A few metres by foot to extensive open air market. No shortage of cafes, restaurants, bakeries. All in close proximity. Walking & other tours easily accessible. Unit was small, clean but definitely “basic”. Adequate for 2 x persons, but more suitable for 1 x person. The unit is on the 1st floor accessible by a steep spiral staircase. It would not suit older people unless they are very agile & unafraid! Towels could be of better quality (a small expense). A microwave would be an advantage (although I did not need one). Otherwise a comfortable stay!

• Marie (3/5): Glad we only stayed for 1 night - The proximity to Diocletians Palace. it is literally just next to it. Small, cramped space. Not recommended for old people or with disabilities as you have to climb a steep stair to get to the 2nd floor.

El dueño fue muy amable en todo, nos ayudo con las valijas y a conseguir el traslado al aeropuerto. Todo estuvo muy bien, aunque estuvimos solo 1 día. Para 3 personas adultas es un poco ajustado el lugar.

The room and tiny bathroom and furniture are very basic and some parts would need some cleaning / washing. I wonder, why the call it „luxury apartment“. Maybe because the price is luxurious.

• Henri (10/5): Nice Host, good wifi, good AC - I was traveling alone with my bicycle. The Host was very Friendly and helped ne Carry it up the narrow staircase. For this price, you Can’t get Anything better in the Center of Split. From the Ferry port it‘s 3 Minutes by foot.
• Deborah (8/5): Experience staying in a historic apartment in the middle of a palace wall but don’t expect luxury - It’s close to major attractions and I liked the experience of staying inside an ancient wall. I also liked how responsive and helpful the owner’s representative was. It was great to be met personally, e.g. It was advertised as luxury but it really isn’t. I have given direct feedback to the owner’s representative about my views. I think they need to change the advertising because it is misleading. Despite this, and the relatively minor things that need fixing, the apartment was satisfactory. It had only been going 20 days before we arrived and I assume the owner was unaware of what tourists expect and the need not to use puffery in advertising
