• Paul (10/5): Stunning place in a great location - Brilliant location - equidistant between Windermere and Bowness. Spacious, comfortable and furnished to a really high standard. Off road parking, a very well equipped kitchen and a luxury bathroom and bedroom. Genuinely nothing to dislike.

Has all the facilities you'd need. It's very well presented and clean. Small additional touches were also a bonus. Would highly recommend to anyone considering a break in the Lake District Nothing

• Mina8 (10/5): Home Sweet H ome - La Sagesse is in between Windermere & Bowness, 10 minutes walk to each place, can't beat the location. The cottage is very modern & fully equipped, the king size bed was very comfortable, once you are there, you don't want to leave, highly recommended! Nothing

• Chris (10/5): One of the best places we have ever stayed, we love it! - Beautiful property with high spec contemporary fixtures and fittings, extremely comfortable bed, great bathroom, superb kitchen, I can best describe it by saying a home away from home for us both! The location is perfectly between Bowness and Windermere, both within walking distance. Andy and Donna are fantastic hosts and should be proud of themselves and what they have achieved with La Sagasse! We love the place and hope to come back soon! Nothing to dislike, it’s perfect!!!

The standard of the annex is second to none and you can really feel the care and attention that has been put in to it. There’s lots of little touches around the annex which just make it a really special place to stay and the location is perfect! Thank you so much for having us, we will definitely be back!

Access is good. The times when the heating was on were odd but the property was warm so it wasn’t an issue.

• Jamie (10/5): It is the perfect retreat to explore the beautiful places around the lakes. - The property is completed to an exceptional standard. It’s the perfect location to be able to explore the surrounding area. The hosts were responsive and supportive throughout the booking and provided a few extras, which levelled up our experience at Church House. Honestly, we could not complain about anything. Everything was exceptional.
• Jenny (9/5): Fantastic accommodation, very well designed with all mod cons in a perfect location. - Beautiful fixtures and fittings, immaculately clean, a super comfy bed with excellent sheets. Brilliant shower. Great to have a TV in the bedroom as well. We were unlucky enough to visit on a very wet few days and couldn’t get our clothes dry on the radiator or towel rail as these are controlled by the owner and can’t be adjusted by guests. No USB plugs in the accommodation. Internet was not good, I tried to work a little and the internet kept dropping out.

• Lauren (10/5): A beautiful and comfortable home away from home. - Such a beautiful place. Small but comfortable and with everything you need. Outrageously comfortable bed! We wanted to take the pillows home lol. Decorated beautifully, with some really nice details: the light around the mirror in the bedroom, touch screen light on bathroom mirror; cotton buds/pads, tampons, first aid kit and plasters; chocolates on the pillows; a bottle of Prosecco and delicious home made shortbreads! Really plush, luxurious towels. A really cute, friendly neighbourhood cat that visited our doorstep. Plenty of storage space in the bedroom and lots of hangers! There is hidden storage in the dressing table chair which I loved. There is so much to love! The location is great on a quiet and lovely street, a few minutes drive from shops, restaurants etc, and less than 10 minutes to the town centre/lake Windermere. We absolutely loved our stay, we ended up booking an extra night because we didn’t want to leave! I have recommended this place to other people. Beautiful. Outstanding. Incredible value for money. THANK YOU. We can’t wait to return. Miss it already! We loved everything. It is next door to a school which we didn’t realise and it can be a bit noisy at playtime, but we didn’t really notice as we were out all day most days. It certainly wouldn’t stop us coming back. The hosts totally stay out of your way, which we didn’t mind - it can make you feel a bit uncomfortable though as you are on their property. I think we would have appreciated a meet and greet at check in - BUT their communication was excellent - they replied to any and all requests within minutes and even came over to check the heating for us as we couldn’t get it to work initially. Shower pressure could be better, but it is a truly luxurious shower and felt like a spa. We are looking forward to returning!
• Mr (10/5): 3 night stay in Windermere - Home from home everything you would need was thought off, plus added extras made us feel special, location perfect between Windermere one way and Bowness the other, Apartment was of a very very high standard in a quiet location plus private parking. Absolutely nothing to dislike Spotlessly clean and well presented
