- Refiner (1/5): - I first liked it on the photos. The fact that, they've canceled my booking without informing me. When I arrived at night, only to found out that my booking was canceled. I had to sleep in the car with my kids.
I learned that,it was canceled because of officials that are regulars.
Bad Bad Bad service
- Raquel (9/5): Beyond expectation - The staff is top notch I was assisted by a particular lady and I did not take her name but she assist me even before I made my booking, she is lovely o amazing person definitely in the right profession I though she only treats me that way cause I am a guest until I overheard her dealing with her colleagues. The breakfast was ok, the location perfectly near the venue, they also assisted with my rides to the venue and when I departed. Will definitely book again. I requested them to book me in the same room on my return to Bloem in Oct, nice one ladies and keep it up. They already while I was still there corrected and it is time small to mention. Thank you to the cleaning service you do your work with so much pride

KEEP IT UP LOVED THE PLACE NOTHING I DIDNT LIKE......I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THE PLACE............KEEP THE GOOD WORK UP.
- Ricky (5/5): Not the worst, not the best - The fact that I could checkin early I only checked in as our vehicle broke down, I explained this to the staff that if the garage would have our car fixed we would not have to spend the night and would not be eating the included breakfast. We were still forced to pay the early book in fee despite this and not staying over, as our car was finally fixed.
The noise through the bedroom door meant we could not get in a 3hr nap before leaving..
- Mathebula (8/5): - Proffessional staff, clean, location is ideal near CBD. Breakfast spread is delicious. No carpet in the room even in the shower.
- Theunis (1/5): - Nothing

Cannot call this a hotel. Dirty , aircon did not work , no shower , beds very hard and no secure parking.

- Thokozile (6/5): The staff was amazing - The staff . They were so friendly and helpful. I’d love to meet them again. The front desk , the cleaners, the chef! I loved them so much. I was in Room 109. It’s was cold and the aircon was not working. They didn’t have coffee satchets. Their flooring was tiles and they didn’t have a carpet so it was so cold for me. Please put carpets. They switched off the fridge and it was releasing water. Imagine what could happen if the tiles are slippery. They had only 1 towel. Just 1?? No ways 😪

- Thembakazi (6/5): - What I loved most was that the breakfast during the first two days was really good. The location was perfect, as we were not far from many of the attractions we wanted to see and enjoy. The bed was very comfortable, and I also loved that the water was consistently hot at all times.
The two receptionists were absolutely amazing — they were warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful with any issues or complaints we had. They truly made our stay much better. What I did not like about the stay started with the room allocation. The property is in a very hot city, and according to Booking.com, our room was supposed to be upstairs with a balcony and city views. However, upon arrival, we were assigned a downstairs room, which was a bit disappointing.
When we got to the room, we immediately noticed that the fridge was not working, and the air conditioning was also not functioning. I reported this to reception, and the receptionist kindly assisted by moving us to another room. In the new room, the aircon worked perfectly, but there was no fridge. My partner ended up moving the fridge from the first room himself once it started working, even though the receptionist had offered to assist.
The next issue occurred the following evening when the power went off unexpectedly. Unfortunately, the receptionist on duty at the time did not communicate with guests or provide any explanation or apology, which came across as poor handling of the situation. Additionally, I believe management should have a backup plan in place. Given the reality of load shedding in the country, it is important for a hotel to have a generator or alternative power source to ensure guest comfort.
Another concern was the breakfast experience over the weekend. Several items on the menu were not available, particularly during breakfast. I had specifically wanted eggs Benedict and was promised it would be available on Monday, but when Monday came, it was still unavailable. In my opinion, items listed on the menu should consistently be available to guests.
Additionally, the breakfast on the third day was not up to standard. The food was overcooked and felt as though it had been prepared long in advance and left in a warmer. It did not taste fresh or appetizing, and both my partner and I were unable to finish our meals. Overall, the quality and freshness of the breakfast on that day were very disappointing.

- Nel (1/5): - We had a terrible experience we phoned ahead regarding parking as we have very specific needs they confirmed that all is good when we got there it was not this resulted in our bakkie to breakdown Aircon was not working continental breakfast was a complete joke and not what was on the menu No hot water. The breakfast was not as advertised there was a lot elemetts not there. No tomato sauce and we ask for butter and it came after we have eaten

- Hazel (7/5): None - The courteousy of the receptionist No parking inside the premises..the cars are parked outside and there is traffic 😑
- Lekubela (10/5): We were given royal treatment in all respects - the Breakfast was what we expected and of high standard.
the service of the Kitchen was exceptional. all was up to standard. exceeded expectation
- Salamina (5/5): I won’t recommend for anyone to stay. - The reception and the reception staff only. The bed was not comfortable. Though the bathing water and shower had good pressure and working perfectly. The hotel is old but being clean. I think they are revamping bit by bit. They should buy new and modern furniture for their property.
- masego (9/5): - The room was huge.and the customer service was the best.check in was easy .close to alot of amenities I told the reception I do not consume pork n eggs... but upon breakfast, my request was not met.and had to go to my graduations on an empty , but at least my husband received his breakfast, which was great

- Rop Verheijen (9/5): Prachtig hotel.
- Surprise Mavuso (4/5): The staff great service but the rooms are of poor quality as the rooms are hot - I liked the services from the staff the moment we checked in The rooms where not fairly prepared, the bedding was smelling a little off and the air conditioner was not working as the room was extremely hot
