- Anonymous (1/5): Awful. - I don’t like nothing about this property or the owner. To start with, both the owner and the host are awful people. I sent the deposit money as asked on arrival of my stay, I was told that if paid by bank transfer I would receive my money back within 24 hours, which I how I paid. It’s been nearly 3 weeks and I’m still waiting. I’ve messaged and called non stop in that time to see if there’s any progress and I very rarely get a message back or an answered call, when I do they just feed me the same lies they have done previously - I have since been blocked by the owner so I can no longer call or message him, how professional! I wouldn’t recommend anybody stay here cause all it is is a scam!

Deposit of 150 pounds in advance for damages. I have already paid the deposit and got the code to open the room and the owner said that it will be returned within 24 hours. 8 weeks on and they have still not returned my money, numerous messages sent and get the same excuses and evading the issue of transferring money. Booking.com are now dealing with this, Stay well clear of this property and Host they are SCAMMERS!!!!!!

- C (4/5): Hot weather so windows open and very noisy parties each night in other flats. Maintenance needed. - Close to tram stop. Property was poorly maintained. Dishwasher out of order, bath tap not working, only one fan (very noisy). Fob was faulty, we were locked out as a result.

- Yl (1/5): Very dissapointing. - Nothing We didn't get the apartment. They didn't bother to inform us on time that the apartment is not available. The day before they asked for a deposit which we paid but on the arrival date they didn't give us key pick-up instructions and didn't answer our calls.

Will never return it. - On the day of our visit host asked for £150 security deposit. before releasing the code to the lockbox. After our stay. Host said he would return is in 5-7 days. I have been contacting them multiple times for a month now, and they keep saying they’ll chase the payment from their account team. I have also managed to contact them on the phone twice, but this hasn’t materialised to anything. They have been apologetic, but quite frankly, what’s an apology if they’re not acting on it. This is inexcusable.
Stay has been tainted by this terrible experience.

- Emma (10/5): superb - The apartment was spacious and beautifully presented and was absolutely spotless. The location was perfect for the tram service and getting too and from the co-op arena. The communication from the host was great and super helpful. Would definitely stay again next time we visit Manchester. Nothing.

They wouldn’t give us any information on where the keys were and left us out in the cold until we paid £150 deposit which was never mentioned before. I have messaged numerous occasions and they guaranteed it would be sent back but after 3 months now still nothing back. 1 word responses and a total lack of respect. The apartment also had a leak from the sink or dishwasher which caused a horrible smell in the kitchen. Be careful you don’t get caught with the same issue

The parking lot outside had a lot of smashed glass indicating cars get broken into. We were lucky there were some bays towards the front in view from the flat and had no issues.

- Lisa (1/5): Absolutely shocking .. cost 320.00 in total . - Marks all over the walls, burnt carpet. Bath taps locked off and Didn’t work. TOOK 150 deposit and have NOT RETURNED within 24hours , as also experienced by other customers. This has happened to other guests! DO NOT BOOK! This host acts as if he is willing and helpful on booking.com messages and will probably response professionally to this review BUT DTILL NOT RETUEN THE MONEY.. but via WhatsApp is extremely dodgy. Currently chasing deposit back via booking.com and have also raised a fraud dispute with the bank and reported to police.. but not very hopeful!

Please be aware that you will be charged £150 damage deposit, even after multiple attempts of contacting mvp, I have still not received this back and have had to contact booking.com to try and retrieve this
- Matt (3/5): Poor - Location was great for Etihad decent bathrooms Do not ignore the reviews. The damage refund policy £150 has not been refunded after a week (should be within 24hrs) as quoted, having to chase booking.com now. Very dissapointed as I voiced this concern with the owner before booking and was totally misled. DO NOT STAY HERE.
Additionally the property had one less sofa bed than advertised.
The carpets and walls are marked, it's functional but not luxury apartment.
- David (5/5): Nice apartment we enjoyed our stay. Ruined by chasing the deposit - Parking nearby, close to the tram. Large and clean with good facilities £150 deposit needs transferred before stay. Don’t expect that back without a fight. It took 2 weeks of chasing and contacting booking.com before it was returned. I’d make sure you take evidence on arrival and departure

The whole damage deposit is very shady, only 5 minutes before arriving Harry the host informed me of a damage deposit payable to a different person. This was never refunded by him and I had to wait 3 months for Booking.com to get the money back to my account. Be aware as this felt very fishy.

- Kathryn (7/5): A spacious, clean apartment which in our eyes cannot be classed as a luxury apartment. - Nice spacious apartment, which is very clean, and has a great view of the Ethiad stadium. Harry was quite good at replying to my messages. We had problems such as the bedside light which didn't not work as the fuse was missing; also we couldn't make the tap work in the bath, and the flow control knobs on the shower and the bath kept falling off. There are awful burns on the carpet. We found it difficult to locate the entrance to the building and to decide which car park we were allowed to park in. Then we arranged with Harry that someone would bring us a key at 6.15 but he didn't turn up until 6.40. He was very apologetic and explained that it was because of the traffic, but it was a bit annoying as we were in a hurry.
