The people here to create the hostel atmosphere are inexistant (they have some but we never see them) The toilets of dorms are not cleaned regularly The locker is not practical

Everyone in my room became unwell from the damp air. Loud common area. No towel available until my 3rd day. Rusty, dirty/dusty shower cubicles and toilets.

• Lucas (9/5): Unglaublich coole Erfahrung — Nicht zur Entspannung gedacht. - Wenn man viele, junge Menschen kennenlernen will und keine Ruhe, sondern Action will, ist man hier genau richtig. Es ist rund um die Uhr was los — man geht jeden Abend mit Allen in verschiedenste Clubs und es gibt immer was zu tun. Untertags kann man am Pool chillen und Volleyball spielen. Die Zimmer sind toll. Ich hatte das 4er Zimmer mit privaten Bad — Wenn man also nicht so auf viele Leute im Dorm steht, kann man bisschen mehr Geld das volle Hostel Leben genießen, aber trotzdem genügend Privatsphäre und Komfort erleben. Ich empfehle es auf jeden Fall weiter. Wenn man nicht auf Trubel und Action steht, sollte man hier auf keinen Fall herkommen. Wirklich ruhig is es hier nicht. Außerdem muss man damit rechnen, dass jeden Tag Unmengen an Alkohol getrunken werden.

• Jacqueline (5/5): Würde wo anderst buchen - Es ist einfach Leute kennenzulernen. Hat tägliche Aktivitäten. Die Sauberkeit entsprach leider nicht den Erwartungen. Obwohl wir ein Privatzimmer hatten, wurden Handtücher sowie Fussmatten während unseres fünftägigen Aufenthalts kein einziges Mal gewechselt, was aus unserer Sicht bei dieser Aufenthaltsdauer angemessen gewesen wäre. Stattdessen wurde täglich der Mülleimer kontrolliert, offenbar um zu überprüfen, ob im Zimmer gegessen wurde. In solchen Fällen wird eine Gebühr von 5000 Pesos erhoben. Zudem kam es zu einer unangenehmen Situation: Aufgrund meiner Periode wurde das Bettlaken leicht verschmutzt. Dafür wurden zunächst 3000 Pesos verlangt. Nach längerer Diskussion wurde der Betrag auf 1000 Pesos reduziert, obwohl das Laken unabhängig davon ohnehin gereinigt werden müsste und die Matraze nicht beschädigt wurde. Dies empfand ich als unangemessen, da die bei normalem waschen raus geht und nicht eine extra Einzelreinigung benötigt. Darüber hinaus war die Lärmbelastung erheblich, da täglich von 10 Uhr morgens bis Mitternacht sehr laute Musik gespielt wurde.

• Elaina (8/5): A fun social hostel for people who want to meet other nice people with good 4 person dorms - I liked the bed /shower in the room. I had a four person room I would highly recommend it was very nice to stay in very spacious I slept very well! The kitchen facilities were mentioned but actually they were more for the permanent residents and very very dirty not usable I put food in the fridge but it was extremely dirty. Also I would have liked more seating areas than just the bar area as it could be very loud and busy so there was no where to sit other than the pool.

A lot of room in the lobby I stayed in the Double Room nice room, good AC, lights To rent a motorbike is quite slow, I woke up 6:30am ready to explore and open only at 9am, you fill up a form and pay, something the girl from reception could do it.

• Princess (10/5): Fun and Social! - Rucksack Siargao honestly felt like a home away from home. I stayed here while travelling solo and couldn’t have asked for a better place to land. The vibe is so welcoming, social without being overwhelming, and it makes meeting people feel natural and easy. Huge shoutout to Beth, Theo, and Lanie, you guys are absolute gems! You truly made travelling alone not feel lonely at all. From the little chats, laughs, and check-ins to making everyone feel included, you really set the tone for the whole place. If you’re coming to Siargao solo (or even with friends) and want somewhere that feels warm, fun, and full of good energy, this is it. Will 100% stay here again. No power outlets at the common lounge. would have been a great place to work too for nomads like me.

• Anabel (9/5): Great stay! - I had a great time staying at Rucksack Inn Siargao. The location is great, close enough to everything in but still calm and relaxed, so you actually get good sleep. The vibe is social without being chaotic, which made it easy to meet people. The staff were honestly one of the highlights. Everyone was welcoming and helpful. A special shoutout to Ella! She made sure everyone felt included and comfortable. She really helped me out! If you need any kind of help, you can always turn to her☺️ The rooms and common areas were clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully set up. The beds were comfortable (they have curtains!) and the shared spaces were great for chilling, chatting, or planning trips. They also have a volleyball court and a pool! They also had different activities every evening at the hostel. Scooter rental, island tips, and activity recommendations were all easy to arrange through the hostel. You can also book the airport transport through the hostel. If you’re coming to Siargao and want good energy, friendly people, and a well-run hostel, this is definitely the place! The showers could use a bit of an update.

Al hacer el check-in nos advirtieron de que si manchàbamos las sábanas, toallas, pérdida de llave, etc. Nos lo cobrarìan con un extra, lo cual hace que vayas de puntillas por la habitación. El coste de la moto y el transfer al aeropuerto es superior que si lo reservas o alquilas fuera. El baño de la habitación merece mayor mantenimiento. El olor de las tuberías y la humedad no es grato.

• Lil Jessica (7/5): Good spot but just a heads up for extra charge - Overall place is good, its clean, and having a restaurant and bar on the ground floor is a great perk. We especially loved the pool - it was our go-to spot to unwind after a day of land tours and island hopping. Great spot to relax! Just a heads up, make sure to inspect the beddings and towels for stains before use. If stains are found, you'll be charged 1000 pesos per item. We were about 30+ all together. So imagine how much we have to pay if they charge us for every stain found. This caused some hassle for our large group, as many of us noticed pre-existing stains and luckily we were able to proved that they were already there before we used the facilities.

Please be advised to check their sheets/towels if there are any damages/stains before using as they can accuse you on this and they'll ask you to pay 1000 pesos

Very clean and nice sitting area in the lobby. Definitely will come back. A bit far to whoever who does not have a motorcycle.

We were in a private room which was really nice and we were happy with. The bathrooms/showers even in the private rooms could have been cleaner but aside from that everything was perfect.
