Guest Reviews
- Sofie (9/5): Heel goed - Ruim appartement met alle faciliteiten die we nodig hadden
- Daniel (8/5): -
- Peter (10/5): Wish we could have stayed longer but will be back - Had everything we needed and was in a great location Nothing
- Sara (10/5): Comfortable flat in great central location -
- Ian (9/5): Excellent accommodation - For a short break, the property was ideal. Great location on the Causeway, pretty much in centre of town & all the independent shops. Really comfortable & well appointed. Hosts gave lots of communication & instructions on how to find & enter the property. Great hosts. Would have been nice to check in slightly earlier than 3pm. We travelled from London & up at 4am. We managed, no big deal.
- emma (10/5): -
- Geoffrey (8/5): Great location, spacious apartment. - The apartment looks a little gritty from the outside, however, once inside, it proved well appointed and comfortable. The apartment is spacious and well located. The colour scheme is very dull. Some of the modernisation is a little ineffective, such as the "double glazing". The stairs were challenging to negotiate with a suitcase.
- Shiu Chun (8/5): - Close to restaurants, supermarkets Narrow staircase
- Raghav (10/5): - The apartment is located right in the center of the city only 10 minutes walk from the train/bus station. The apartment is very clean and well maintained. Everything was included for a comfortable stay and we faced no problems at all. I would highly recommend this property for anyone visiting Penzance.
- Brian (9/5): A very nice contemporary apartment in a great location - Everything was great. The location was good , it was modern, everything worked perfectly, great Wi-Fi, the starter pack of tea bags, etc. was great, tv streaming services, small appliances…. I could go on! There was nothing I could fault the property for. I liked everything about the property including the location. However, the street the property was in was a little run down and a little noisy at night.
- Kate (8/5): -
- Wendy (10/5): - The apartment was clean, well equipped, and central.
- ANGELA (10/5): - beautiful place! very central too, located right outside of many wonderful streets and very near the bus & train station.
lovely accommodations, hayley & louise were very pleasant hosts too :)
- Linda (10/5): Excellent and would certainly stay again. Thank you Hayley and Louise for your efforts. - Clean, tidy, accessible location and comfortable.
- Christine (9/5): - Good TV, sunny living room and windows we could open.
Great central location for shops and cafes.
Nice quality bedding. Some noise from the street, even though it was pedestrianised.
Not enough mugs. No kitchen scissors.
Needs a new plug for the bathroom sink.
- Anne (9/5): -
- Ace (8/5): Very good -
- Bev (9/5): Comfortable, convenient and beautifully decorated and kitted out. - Very comfortable, newly refurbished. Great bed and shower. We enjoyed the location which was in a flat above one of the shopping streets. Bustling in the day, quiet at night. Compact apartment with good facilities for self catering. Good communication and info from the owners. Nothing, all good
- Mitchell (8/5): Well positioned apartment with good facilities -
- Rachel (7/5): Good base for a week exploring Cornwall - We liked most things. Especially the king size bed! And the powerful shower! The bathroom was a bit smelly at times - not sure if it was the drains or poor ventilation. Also when it rained heavily there was quite a bit of water coming in the top of the living room window. The kitchen generally had most things but we missed having a chopping board.
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Ellen42 (8/5): Excellent base for Penzance and area. - Perfect for our two-night stay. Plenty of space, with the seating area plus a good sized table and chairs in the kitchen/dining/living room, which was wonderfully full of natural light in the afternoon and early evening. The kitchen was easy to use, and my husband appreciated a good coffee machine. Bedroom & bathroom spacious and comfortable.
A short walk from the rail & bus stations, and from the seafront; convenient for shops and exploring Penzance. The street seemed very quiet when we arrived in the evening, but was full of life in the morning, with nice characterful local stores. We couldn't find a chopping board. The owners responded speedily to my enquiry, but were not able to bring one before our departure.
- Lorenzo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lauren (10/5): Perfect few days away - would definitely recommend! - There was great communication prior to check in and when we arrived everything was spotless. The flat has everything that you would need for a short break away, with Nespresso and Netflix being a nice touch. The apartment is in a great, central location, but wasn’t noisy at all. St Erbyn’s long stay car park is only a 3 minute walk away and easily accessible from the flat and most other attractions are only a short walk away. The shops around the apartment are smaller independent ones, so it’s nice to just stroll along, and ‘Loafs’ bakery a few doors up is unreal so definitely worth a try. -
- Gillian (10/5): Exceptional - Perfectly positioned in Penzance. Clean well equipped. Perfect for the 2 of us.
- Alan (9/5): Handy for shopping - Well equipped. Central location. Bedroom on quiet side of the apartment. A lot of outside noise in the evening on the lounge side of the apartment.
- Steven (8/5): Great Location, very nice appartment -
- Lee (8/5): Very good -
- Kiah (9/5): Comfortable, warm and great place! - Very comfy and well laid out, all the bits and bobs you’d need were there and washing machine was a great extra touch. Bed was amazingly comfortable and loved the shower. A little leak in the kitchen window and bedroom window would shudder and make noises. Did have to do a little sweep when first got in but nothing major
- Peter (9/5): We enjoyed staying at this cosy, modern apartment in Penzance . - A great location, with a convenient car park very close by. The modern apartment was perfect for our 3 night short break in Penzance and would also suit a long stay with everything you require. The bathroom is spacious and the heated towel rack was appreciated. Nothing
- Nicholas (9/5): stayed here before and will hope to stay here again next time we are in Penzance - great location couldn't get the control panel to talk to the heating; fortunately it wasn't particularly cold for the time of year and the hot water was on
- Margaret (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is clean and modern right in the center of town. Lots of restaurants and crafty shops. The service was great very helpful. I would stay again. A TV in the bedroom might be nice.
- Sue (10/5): Great location and really appreciated having use of a washer -
- Susan (8/5): Very good - very clean and modern. very central and comfy with a nice bathroom. close to many shops and supermarkets. noisy at the weekend on the street outside. it was difficult to find the door to enter as a delivery van was obscuring it. took us ages to get in. quite a walk to the nearest car park, which was hard work with luggage.
- Lesley (9/5): Superb - It was perfect for our needs. I loved the location, and would really like to go back some time. Hauling heavy suitcases ip the stairs! Everything else was great.
- Cath (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful apartment. Great facilities
Good communication Hard to find
- Steve (7/5): Loved the causeway walk - Nice room Seedy location. Drug addicts & drunks
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - Spacious, very well equipped and comfortable. Great location and extra touches- tea, coffee, milk and biscuits😊
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daehui (10/5): Exceptional - Everything.
Room is very clean.
and There is a washing machine with a drying function, and kitchen appliances such as wine glasses, plates, microwaves, and pots are all provided.
- Jacqueline (10/5): Excellent -
- Carol (8/5): Very good -
- Richard (9/5): Excellent place to stay, quiet and comfortable place. - Fresh, clean, modern spacious apartment. Comfortable living room/diner with well equipped kitchen. Good table by the window to work. Nicely decorated bedroom and large bathroom with walk in shower. Centrally located close to shops and restaurants.
- D. (10/5): A lovely place to stay in Penzance - A great location being central and therefore easy to walk everywhere and to places of interest. Having stayed here about 5 weeks ago we booked again because there was so much we did not end up doing the last time and decided to stay here again due to the location. We found it easier to leave the car and come by bus this time which saves a lot of hassle with parking although it was not a hassle the last time. We thought that the apartment lacked a long mirror which could be added to the bedroom cupboard? The bathroom and bed room have only small head and shoulders mirrors and to be able to see ones whole outfit when going out to dinner or theatre or movie would be nice bonus
- D. (10/5): A lovely welcoming home in a great location - It was easy to find this lovely & inviting home from home with almost everything on the doorstep as well as minutes away from shops and restaurants and other places of interest. We really enjoyed the big screen tv and the wide range of viewing options there were to watch. The wifi worked well too.
We found the hosts really responsive to any queries or help we required. As we had checked in 15 minutes early, they did not get a chance to switch on the radiators which was why we could not figure out how to turn on the heating - but this was resolved quickly by the hosts when we let them know the next day and they were lovely about it. Nothing.
- Jeanne (9/5): Very nice and comfortable place to stay in the shopping part of town. - Very clean and stylish. Spacious bathroom, plenty of space to hang clothing, kitchen was well kitted out for simple meals. Nothing.
- Joshua (9/5): Superb -
- Paul (10/5): PZ NYE - Lovely back bedroom which was quiet with adjoining fab bathroom.
Very handy location especially if you come by train. Keypad entry was a bit fiddly but worked better if done quickly!
- Pilkington (6/5): The apartment is fine, there are leaks in the front room window - Nearly impossible to gain entry via the front door code.
- Waraphon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christianne (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location close to shops and transport. Extremely comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen. Easy check in. Would stay again.
- Simone (10/5): Exceptional - Great locatio, excellent for those travelling via rail. Great transport links. Hosts were very very helpful. Nothing
- Hsin (9/5): Superb - The location is very convenient, closed to the bus station. The flat is very clean and well-furnished. They have everything we need. Everything is good. But if I really need to say one thing, I wish there is a full length mirror.
- Siddique (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bigmore (9/5): great location very clean -
- Peter (10/5): Awesome apartment in a very convenient location, clean, well presented and could not recommend highly enough. - Clean and modern apartment, fully equipped, including a bonus bottle of milk in the fridge & box of delicious local Cornish cookies. Very welcome after a 5 hour train journey!
We loved the location with a great choice of local pubs and local specialty shops. We would love to stay here again and it will be number one on the list the next time we visit Penzance. Can’t really say that there was anything we didn’t like. The only criticism we have is that the stairs up to the apartment were a bit of a challenge for us ‘old’ folk, but that wouldn’t stop us from staying again.
- Ben (10/5): Exceptional -
- Glenn (8/5): Very enjoyable. - The apartment was nice, comfortable, well located and clean. Nothing.
- Borger (10/5): Ideal in every way - Perfect location with everything we needed within steps. We were worried Maisy days might be too noisy. But we never had any trouble sleeping. The bedroom is on the courtyard quiet side.
Quality and decor were top drawer. They have the newest espresso maker which requires a different pod size than what's generally available. So we weren't able to use it.
We left our rental car parked in a long term paylot behind a church for the long weekend . We got everywhere we wanted by coastal double-deck bus, beryl e-bikes and walking .Top experiences were minack theater play, st Michael's mount (the walk is amazing) and a wonderful day in St Ives and hanging out around Penzance. The apartment location couldn't be better.
Maizy days parade was a hoot and we enjoyed it when it passed right below our apartment! There was a market a couple streets away with excellent vendors from all over Cornwall with local high quality affordable mostly handmade products. Mousehole was a little disappointing. There are galleries and a VERY good gift shop close to the main bustop. But for beaches and beautiful scenery and things to do, St. Ives and Marizion, around St. Michael's were more worthwhile.
- John (10/5): We had a lovely stay. - Very thoughtful and kind host.
- Julie (10/5): Lovely - Stylish clean and some lovely touches. Would love to stay again.
- Patricia (10/5): Great mid week break within walking distance of shops & restaurants - Nice & airy rooms. Well equipped. Lovely & clean. Convenient for local shops & restaurants.
- Julie (8/5): A very comfortable stay and in a great location. - We had a communication issue with how we needed the beds made up but this was resolved so efficiently by our host. Nothing seemed like too much trouble.
- Deidremitchell (10/5): An excellent apartment - The apartment was amazing. Well appointed and very clean. We enjoyed the kitchen as we like cooking and the washing machine and TV with Netflix made it homely and a pleasure to stay in at night.
- Claudia (10/5): Excellent accommodation in central Penzance - We had a great time in Penzance staying at this contemporary apartment. The self-check-in process was very easy, the location very convenient, and we loved everything about the flat: the light, the cleanliness, the milk, honey, and biscuits left for us in the kitchen.
- Jihwan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janet (9/5): Superb - Very easy with a safe lock to pick up keys , so helpful as we were delayed by traffic and the host did not have to wait for us
- Lorna (10/5): Really lovely clean apartment and we loved the central location for our winter break. - The location was great for us for a winter break for a couple.
Good to be able to walk out in the evening to the bars and restaurants. Really no complaints about the property other than we would have liked instructions for cooker. Arrived in the evening and couldn’t get the safe mode off the oven and no instruction booklet left.
Managed to get oven on after 20 mins to cook our pizza. Always had instruction booklets left in previous properties we have stayed at.
We had no problems with parking in March but I should imagine during peak season in the summer this would be more of a problem and car parks more expensive.
- Natalia (10/5): Will definitely choose this place when gonna come back to Penzance. - Newly refurbished with great style and good quality of things. Excellent location and has all the necessities.
- Natalja (7/5): Good -
- Linda (10/5): February in Penzance - The duvet and pillows
The modern feel
The Hostesses! So welcoming...left shortbread and chocolate on arrival and 2 red roses on Valentine's Day to mark our special trip. Nothing!
- Kerry (9/5): Nice little apartment. - Very clean, tidy and comfortable. Great location too. The pin pad security door meant I felt safe and the managers were very kind & helpful. There was a washing machine which wasn’t mentioned in the description. The lower kitchen cupboards had tins of paint etc which didn’t leave much room for groceries.
- Sofia (9/5): home away from home - the exact location of how to enter the flat, super easy, without crooked paths not being able to stay there any longer.could have extra bedding.the noise of the heater inside the room, but even so I will stay again🤭
- Jake (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vincenzo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karen (9/5): Superb -
- Byung (8/5): Very good - Location! Fragrance from the cleaning products was so strong, so it was a bit annoying.
- Daphne (10/5): Amazing stay in the centre of Penzance, very clean and complete apartment with great shower and bed. - Amazing apartment to stay with your partner - excellent location and it's got everything, fully equipped kitchen, great shower, good bed, nice tv. -
- Shao (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (10/5): A short last minute trip to the coast excellent accommodation - beautifully decorated and finished to a very high standard, situated in a great location. nothing at all
- John (9/5): Superb - Easy for town centre and buses.
- David (8/5): Modern renovated apartment. - Very clean and the facilities were great.
Central location near to all amenities.
Good internet and TV entertainment.
Very spacious and modern.
Would not hesitate to book again. Some noise from work being carried out in ground floor room underneath, but only during day when mostly out anyway. Not major problem.
No number on property, which during heavy rain I initially passed by when first arriving.
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional - Location was amazing. Really clean, modern and had everything we needed. Hosts were lovely and very convenient check in and out process.
- Muhammed (10/5): we enjoyed our stay excellent location will definitely book again in the near future. - in a very good location, was in immaculate condition inside and out very clean .
- Esther (10/5): Perfectly appointed little apartment. Easy, clean and comfortable. - Very stylish, great communication and very comfortable bed Causeway Head is a little bit noisy and it would be helpful if the door had a number 71 on it although we were sent a photo in advance showing which door it was.
- Sebastian (10/5): Exceptional -
