- David (8/5): Spacious established flat in good location . - Spacious lounge and bedroom and as its top floor at rear it is very quiet . The location in my opinion is excellent- being at south side of Ortiga , away from the central crowds . Kitchen facilities were lacking and not thought through . Lots of big pans but no frying pan , saucepan . Cutlery probably could be replaced with a new complete set .

- Aileen (9/5): Lovely apartment….would highly recommend! - Spacious, airy apartment with a small covered terrace, in a great location on Ortigia island. Seemed well equipped including a washing machine. Very close to the two small swimming areas on the island. Our hosts Maria and Francesco were very kind and helpful with good communication. Just to note the private car park (€20/day) was a ten minute walk from the apartment…

- Stella (9/5): Superb - Location, apartment comfort and cleanliness , fast response from the owner The apartment is located on the 4th floor without an elevator. I have not seen this on the amenities list when booking via booking.com. It was a big surprise to us when we had arrived and learned that we need to carry luggage to the 4th floor. In such case, the owner should have offered help with the luggage. Otherwise, the rental amenities should indicate that there is no elevator in the building.

- Philip (9/5): Spacious and comfortable - Very spacious and comfortable. Well equipped. Brilliant central position close to sea, restaurants and many historic sites. No need for a car. Maria was very welcoming and helpful. Swimming was very pleasant but do bring swimming shoes as it is very rocky! Stiff climb up several flights of stairs especially after a hot day sight seeing!
- Edwin (10/5): Relaxing and elegant place to stay. - Francesco owns two apartments in this Baroque Palazo in Ortigia. I have stayed in the other one on two occasions, and once he invited me for a glass of limoncello in this one. So I knew exactly what to expect. Both are fantastic. Nothing, a perfect stay. I only wish it had been available for more than three nights.
