- Desiree (1/5): I WILL NEVER BOOK AGAIN WITH CHRIS. - My original booking was a 2 bedroom top floor ocean view in Waterfront. But due to their incompetence, when we arrived at the place from the airport at almost 9pm, only to find a dirty place. The master room bed was up, with no sheets. Dirty linens on the floor. The hallway floor is dirty. Also the kitchen fridge is not cleaned. Called the person in charge, Chris, and we were redirected to another building with 1 bedroom only for the night and to move the next day once the original booked room is cleaned. Apparently, my parents decided they wished to stay on the current 1 bedroom for the whole duration of their stay in Darwin. They find it to hassle and inconvient to move again. I told this to Chris and he said not a problem at all. I also asked him to send me a new invoice and refunds for the new accomodation. As it was not our fault if their cleaner did not do their job properly. For the entire duration (6days) I havent heard from him amidst my several calls and texts. Called him again on the 6th day our last day and he picked up the call and just told me that he was busy and that he will just send me in the next few days the new invoice and the refund of the price difference. He assured me during that time. A week past, not a single email, text message nor a call. Chris does not have the decency to do what he said. I called several times and messaged him too but was just left unanswered. No email, no text message until now. My booking was booked last Jan 31 to Feb 6, 2025. And its already end of March still NO invoice and refund. It's sad as I thought he was a man with integrity.
