The fact that you have to go to the other side of town to collect and return the key is very inconvenient Furniture is very cheap. You need to leave a 200 pounds deposit and a month later I am still chasing to get this refunded. Stay away from
This place unless you want hassle and to be robbed of your deposit.
- brendan (1/5): Terrible - The beds was broken staff unhelpful and wasn’t willing to refund or sort a bed for our 3 year old to sleep on while we stayed on the sofa ruined our stay would not recommend to anyone unless going there to party and stay up all night absolutely shocking

- Gordon (2/5): - Check in was delayed as we had to wait for a cleaner to drop the keys off, causing us to miss the start of a family occasion ( the whole point of the trip). BTW, there is a 15 minute walk from the property to where you get your keys.
When we did get to the property, there was only 1 nearly finished toilet roll between both of the bathrooms. The wifi log-in failed each time we attempted it so no tv either. The smoke detection system is missing, and there is exposed wiring where it is supposed to be. The shower door in our en-suite has a broken handle and jams half way. In both bathrooms the toilet roll holders are broken but there was no roll as such to put on them.
Given this long list of faults, I will leave it with the owners to come back with a suitable offer of refund.

- Sarah (1/5): DO NOT STAY HERE. Incredibly unprofessional staff with a complete lack of effort or urgency to resolve any issue. - Location was fine but not amazing. Have to collect the fob to access apartment at a different location about a 20 minute walk apart from each other. You also have to pay a deposit on a separate website to access check in information which is not disclosed when booking it on booking.com Didn’t provide us with a fob for the apartment and after trying to communicate for nearly 3 hours they made no effort to resolve this issue stating that we would have to “follow someone in from behind” to be able to access the apartment which we PAID money to stay in. Told us not to speak to people at the front desk for any help because they weren’t “official” yet they were able to help us. Thankfully the front desk helped us as after I stopped questioning the apartment on chat they didn’t contact me about the situation at all, therefore showing that they were never going to do anything about the situation.

Firstly the listing makes no mention of having to pay either a £50 non-refundable damages deposit or a £200 refundable deposit, which, having read reviews more in depth since making the booking takes an age to be refunded.
I requested a 3pm check in as we were travelling to Manchester from the south east to go to a gig. Once I had completed the on boarding process of uploading my driving licence, paying the deposit & other information the check in information was not made available. Whilst travelling up on the train I messaged the property & was told I would receive it 1-2hrs before my requested check in time. That didn’t happen. We arrived into Manchester (delayed) just before 3pm & still had not received the check in information. I called the mobile number on the property listing several times & it either rang & rang or I was cut off. I then received a text message with an ‘office’ number to call. I text back & asked for whoever had the mobile number I was calling to just tell me where I had to collect the keys from with no response. Someone from the office finally answered & just kept trying to fob me off with an offer to send me the on boarding link. After several requests for them to give me the address of where the keys were held I was begrudgingly given the information. An address in Salford!!! 15 minute taxi ride for £18 we weren’t expecting. The keys are held in a convenience store. I mentioned to the guy in the shop what an absolute ball ache this was & he said yep, everyone that goes there to collect the keys say the same thing. The shop people are not affiliated to the property, the property owners just don’t want to pay the concierge fees of a serviced building but are happy to take their customers money on taxis out of the city centre to collect the keys & back into the city centre. Absolutely ludicrous.

- Hazboun (3/5): Excellent location but poor communication and comfortability. - Location was great, cleaning person was extremely nice, two bed and two bathrooms was nice No AC, difficulty talking to the person who runs the property (multiple numbers), had to get key from separate location, had to return key at said location before leaving, and the people who stayed there before me absolutely trashed the place but the cleaning person did a great job of trying to pick up after
- Paull (2/5): Love Manchester travel to Liverpool as well great cities just wouldn’t stay in this apartment again - Close to train station very spacious apartment On arrival, a strong smell of marijuana mattress extremely poor quality no Internet access no TV as we have to have Internet access owner provided with Wi-Fi connection did not work contacted the owner feels like they even care about it did not realise it was a Airbnb. We thought it was a hotel didn’t like to have to go across Manchester to pick up the keys never ever stop there again.
- Hesham (1/5): Bad experience with the owner - Place location and appartment was good I have to bring the Keys of the apartment from far place also owner ask for deposit 45 pounds and she didn't give back and not replying on the phone. In addition we forget our glasses and she said nothing was in the appartment. We don't recommend

If you could organise someone to bring the key

But otherwise I honestly wouldn't it just to far away to get the keys What i don't like is very little is was a gorgeous apartment it just the key that pissed me off big time....
- Amanda (6/5): Very stressful for key pick up not knowing the area it cost more money to find where key was. This is not mentioned on b - The property was central to what we needed Was not aware we had to pay £150 before we were given check in details, which I had to go through PayPal to get back. They just kept saying they would sort it but never did. We had to drive to a different location to pick up key at a corner shop. This was very stressful after we had a 5/12 hour journey. No hair dryer no batteries or top on smoke alarm. One pan that would work on hob. Uncomfortable bed. Broken toilet roll holder.
- Belinda (5/5): Disappointed with the facilities - The property is in a nice location and near to the city centre As we were away for a girls holiday we were hoping to watch tv and put music on YouTube as we were going to a concert. There was however no Wi-Fi. We asked for it to be fixed but it never was. On the day of the concert we went to have showers and there was no hot water. The owner told us it was because it was in flats and you needed to boost hot water. So we didn’t get a shower. Also we had to go out of our way to pick up the keys from a shop which was over a mile and a half added a further £18 to our stay. Also the smoke alarms had been taken down with no batteries in. Only 1 and a half toilet rolls for 3 women for two days. The host answered promptly but didn’t rectify anything. I also had to leave a £200 deposit which wasn’t asked at the time of booking. I was disappointed in this apartment to be honest. Looking through other reviews, so are other people. There was marks up the walls and screws hanging out the shower room.
- Layah (6/5): Good location, nice apartment but very uncomfortable! - Great location and the apartment is very spacious. The key collection/drop off point is a 6-10 minute drive from the actual apartment and I can’t find this specified anywhere in the booking. It’s a bit of a pain expecting your guests to collect from another location that’s not close to the apartment.
The beds were extremely uncomfortable. Such poor quality that when you lay on them, they went flat and you were pretty much just sleeping on the bed frame.
Lack of communication. Upon booking, there was a thank you message sent and right at the bottom, information about needing a £200 deposit.
I didn’t see the message about the required deposit and there was no follow up from the host.
I didn’t receive any communication on the day of checking in, I had to message the host around 13:30 to request check in information for a 15:00 check in.
Also, paying over £200 for a 1 night stay to not be able to check in until 15:00 and check out being before 11:00 and having to pick up/drop the keys off yourself isn’t good value for money.

Lots of scuffs on walls and stains on the carpet, loo roll holders missing, light switch missing, and the bed in my room was so uncomfortable the mattress sunk on one side.
However it was fine for what we needed it to be.
