I booked this place to spend Xmas and to start with the staff were really really poor at accommodating some of our needs , early check in ect with it being Xmas Eve when we landed . Also I was lead to believe there was a fire, there is one but it isn’t working. Also 3 forks to use for 4 guests . No tv on the living room only one bedroom . Then we couldn’t have a bath in the main bathroom as the plug didn’t work . All little things that could make a massive difference to make the stay 5 star .
- Radu (9/5): Wonderful stay in a wonderful place. - Firstly, the view is spectacular, and the entire apartment can comfortably accommodate up to 4-5 guests (we were just three). We took into account some previous feedback and prepared ourselves accordingly. We brought toilet paper, garbage bags (in Montreux, you need special bags for garbage), and paper towels. However, these items were already available in the apartment, so we left ours for the next guests. The property is conveniently located close to the city center and near almost all points of interest, which is a significant advantage. We had everything we needed, both inside and outside the apartment, so thank you for a great stay. We all experienced discomfort with the mattresses; our backs ached after the first night, and the pain only worsened (but younger people should have less issues than us ;) ). This is an area that could be improved.
Another issue involves parking for those arriving by car. I want to emphasize that this is not the accommodation's fault; we received all the necessary information from them.
However, we can place some blame on the booking platform, as there is no filter option for "free parking but limited in time."
During our visit, the entire town was crowded, and all the parking lots were at full capacity, which complicated our situation.
Parking directly in front of the building is only allowed for a maximum of three hours per day between 7-19, Monday to Friday, no limits during the night or during the weekend. After that, you must move your car to a paid parking area, which can be quite expensive and may also be full depending on the time of year. We found a spot during the weekend but Monday at 10AM (7+3) we were forced to leave.
You will receive from the property two parking suggestions, I might add a third one (which we liked the most), the parking bellow the Market (Forum). It can be less expensive than La Paix parking and it seems bigger.

- Paul (5/5): Nice apartment but no hospitality - Good location; nice looking apartment I found the service just not great. The check in was suddenly later which can happen, but no apology whatsoever.
Upon arrival, there are some amenities such as: dishwash tablets and toilet paper. The first thing people generally do is to go to the bathroom upon arrival after travel. No single piece of soap to be found. Neither any other bathroom amenities.
When I messages to ask, the answer was: we are not a hotel, if you need it then buy it.
So, how would one do that if arriving late? Why then dishwash tablets? Simply because they want you to clean up after the stay.
You also get a pdf full of rules when the booking is confirmed.
All in all this feels super unpleasant and far from hospitable.
Also took too long to get the downpayment back.
I paid a lot of money for a nice looking apartment with no amenities and no service.
- Silvia (10/5): Top location on the lake with the best view in town! - The location is perfect. Right on the lakeside. Near the city centre. Walking distance from all interesting places around. Quit apartment with all needed amenities. In Booking.com it was written that there is a free parking, which is not the case. You can park on the street and have with the blue zone sign 3 hours free parking. On Sunday all parking's a re free in Swiss. But the other days you better plan a parking expenses.
An iron was missing only inside the premise.
