• Reshma (9/5): - It was very welcoming with great host. Staff friendly and helpful. Close to the holy river which is amazing. The streets are messy and noisy so be alert when walking around. Cab drivers do try to upcharge tourist .

The room was poorly ventilated, I had to keep the door open to let the air circulate. The air conditioning didn't work. The bathroom was uncomfortable, with no countertops and no fan. The payment is only cash and the price was high. The breakfast is poor and too expensive. The hotel staff was confusing in organizing the transfer from and to the airport. None of the tuktuk drivers knew the area, so I had to act as the driver's navigator.

Proximité des ghats ( 15’ à pied) tout en étant dans un environnement résidentiel au calme, à l’écart de la vie trépidante de Varanasi. Propreté de la chambre et de la sdb. Eau chaude sans problème ! Very good location, 10 minutes walk to Assi ghat Due to Holi no option to have breakfast, which was quite understandable Mosquitos.

• Marek (9/5): Thank you for the peaceful environment where we could regain our strength - If you come to Varanasi from the western world, you will encounter a culture shock. The host's dad is a university professor, she herself has lived most of her life outside India. It shows in her attitude. We really appreciated the fact that we always returned to a peaceful environment. I can't imagine living on a busy road or more centrally located. But the accessibility is still very good. A few minutes and you are at Assi ghat. The hostess was helpful with some things. I prefer minimal contact with the accommodation. I can really recommend the accommodation. Thanks! Dogs bark all over Varanasi at night, but that's not something the hostess can control. Definitely not a complaint just a warning to other travelers to bring earplugs if anyone would mind.

La proprietaria Richaa e’ stata gentilissima, ci ha accolto e con what’s app abbiamo sempre comunicato in tempo reale! La home è in una stradina laterale lontana dal traffico e dalla confusione e la notte si riposa benissimo. Letto fresco, pulitissimo come la camera.. e gli asciugamani erano morbidi e profumavano ( cosa non scontata in India)+ acqua calda a volontà! Altro punto di forza la colazione: abbondantissima, succo yogurt pane sottilette marmellata , 8 pancake buonissimi e caldi, frittata di ceci con verdure, omlette, marmellata Nutella caffè e tanta papaya e banana! Richaa e’ stata gentilissima perché avevamo un tour alle 5 del mattino per vedere l’alba con i vari spettacoli, e ci ha fatto trovare la colazione già pronta per le 8.45 in modo tale da poterne usufruire e dopo 40 minuti riprendere il tour! Un peccato perdere le colazioni perché vengono preparate al momento da una bravissima cuoca! io non capisco certe recensioni: si ha la bocca per chiedere, esiste translate … se possono ti aiutano in tutti i modi. Io consiglio vivamente la struttura perché il prezzo e’ ottimo a Varanasi e il livello di pulizia e’ molto alto! Non ha senso pagare 3 volte tanto un hotel e stare peggio! E’ stata anche la struttura dove non Ho usato i tappi per dormire perché c’era tanta tranquillità! Un caro saluto a Richaa e a tutto lo staff!!! Ens va facilitar els trasllats i sempre estava disponible per a qualsevol cosa. L' esmorzar era fantàstic i molt abundant. Et sens segur dins del recinte perquè controlen l'accés. És molt maco perquè està decorat amb obres que ha fet ella mateixa, sembla un petit palau. També té un petit jardí a l'entrada i un terrat on s'hi està bé. • dubey (10/5): my second stay. Nandi is very welcoming and so host. Love the breakfast - I don’t think in Varanasi, one can get such a nice and quite locality-as where Nandi is located. A Oasis in desert. The property is 700 meter walk to Assi with lots of tuk tuk. I had a very warm stay. the owner-the lady is so helpful and very international. Infact, she made my plan and explained the history of Kashi too. Brownie, golden retriever the pet is the cutest surprise. The property had wonderful guests too, mostly foreigners so I had a nice chit chat. A big terrace where I did morning yoga. Nandi is a complete treat. With so many corners for Instagram pics. Everything I liked.

Room wasn't as nice as any of the pictures: looked out on a lightwell and had no outside space you could sit in. Rubbish under the bed and discarded plastic bottle in the cupboard. Owner spoke good English and helpful on phone but wasn't present and communication difficulties with the on-site caretaker caused frustration. The credit card machine wasn't working so making payment wasn't as straightforward as it should have been.

Very nice decorations with painting and able to keep small library and other antique things. Location of the homestay was very nice and quite as it is situated in very residential area so and From the home to ghats and other local markets found very near. As we were late to check in but still Richa and her teams were available for easy check in. Breakfast was the main highlight. Got homely and healthy breakfast.
• Snehanu (5/5): I would not recommend this property to any of friends and family, especially due to the above issues - 1. Host was very courteous. 2. Location was good...Not very crowded but close to market and Assi Ghat. Anyone can walk down to both the places. 3. Room was very clean. 4. Breakfast was very good and the dining hall was well equipped. However, as there is no arrangements for Dinner and Lunch, which you would have to have outside or carry it back in, a microwave oven to help warm the food would be very useful. 1. Room given to me was very small. Doesn't justify the cost. 2. No Ventilation in the room. There are no windows, no Balcony or terrace in the room. In the description though it was mentioned about a terrace, which we came to know later was a common terrace area not connected to the room at all. There are 2 rooms which are bigger and have attached terrace or at least have windows but they during our stay they were only let out to Foreigners. 3. U can practically listen to every word being spoken in your next room. Even normal volume conversations. It was really very embarrassing. I am sure, that if we could hear them, they could hear us. This actually made our stay very very uncomfortable.

It is in a quiet area only 10 minutes away from the Assi Ghat, where I experienced the morning and evening Aarti, the sunrise boat trip and morning Yoga with the locals. The AC room was clean with a little outside area. The bed was very comfortable and they offer housekeeping every day, if you want to. The breakfast was very delicious and is included in the room. I spent 4 nights in The Nandi. Richa, the host, was very friendly, helpful and attentive. She also had great recommendations regarding restaurants. I will definitely come back to beautiful Varanasi and will stay again at this calm and cosy place. Nothing

• Sumit (9/5): Superb - The polite nature of the owner and the close proximity to all attractions of Varanasi were a big plus. The rooms and washroom were very clean. The Wi-Fi was superfast. Overall a very pleasant stay. Additionally there was a stack of books of diverse genres for reading enthusiasts like me for a quick read. I would definitely recommend everyone for booking in this homestay. Furthermore the homestay is located in a housing society so it's quiet and peaceful. • Jayne (8/5): Friendly and welcoming - a place of calm in a very busy city. - Richa and her team were very welcoming and friendly. We left on a busy Republic Day which made getting a rickshaw or uber to the train station very difficult. One of Richa’s team saw us trying to get a rickshaw after we had left and stopped to help us. If it wasn’t for him, we would have almost certainly missed our train. The location is about a ten minute walk from Assi Ghat and a rickshaw ride away from the main hub of Varanasi. This was perfect for us as it provided the right balance between location and calmness. Nothing of note - Nandi met our expectations of a homestay
• Basab (6/5): Satisfactory - New, clean place, conveniently located to Assi and Ramdass Ghats. Close to Ramdass gate whether you get a wide variety of restaurants and street food stalls of the highest quality. Close to BHU. Accessible by car. King Room # 105 is very spacious with a balcony sit-out. Housekeeping services are not at all satisfactory. Acute shortage of manpower, considering the number of rooms. The supervisor DK makes a valiant attempt to provide service, but without adequate help, leaves a lot to be desired. Ok for overnight stays, but not for long holidays. Deluxe rooms are extremely small. Size shown on Bookings of 17 sq mts is absolutely wrong. No windows. Even the King Room # 106 was small with no window or balcony.

• Chiara (7/5): Nice stay in Varanasi - The property is located on a peaceful backstreet, only a 10 minutes walk to the Assi Ghat and 15 mins walk to good restaurants. The hotel is very new and beautifully decorated. The room, as well as the common areas are very clean and smell good. The hosts, Richa and her family, are very responsive and willing to help. The shower is hot and the bed is comfortable. The room we stayed in was very noisy, especially in the morning. The aircon, although it worked well, emanated an unpleasant smell at times. Top up filtered water is not provided. Overall the price of the property is too high for what you get, however, the owners recently started this business which has great potential to grow.

• Cat (10/5): Stunning homestay with super helpful owners, in a great location - Absolutely beautiful homestay on a quiet lane a 10/15min walk or 5 min rickshaw to Assi Ghat where boat tours start, you can see the Aarti ceremony and there are also plenty of lovely cafes and restaurants. The best part about our stay was definitely the lovely hospitality from both Richa (and her dad for info on trains!) and the caretaker Surya. They take great care in what they do! The home is newly renovated and beautifully decorated by Richa with hand painted details, mosaics and stunning artwork. Great shower, hairdryer, AC - all brand new. Complimentary tea and snacks also provided in the room. We also had a delicious continental breakfast with fruit, pancakes, nutella, jam, the whole works. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, its own little oasis away from the vibrant streets of Varanasi!

• Jan (10/5): Exceptional - Very very kind host. She helps you with everything. Taxi, good adres for restaurants, tips to visit in Varanasi. Clean rooms 10/10. Good breakfast. She even provided us continental breakfast. Go there!!! Top homestay. Nothing
• Diyush (10/5): Exquisite homestay/hotel close to Assi Ghat. - Wonderful artistic property and some lovely hospitality to match it up. We were almost a small village of people who were accomodated peacefully in this spacious abode. There is a dining room attached to the terrace on top that allows for all the occupants to enjoy a breakfast spread in the morning and for food ordered in. Some of the rooms are large, while the others are plentiful. The host, Richa, who's an artist herself, is instrumental in getting the place up and running, showcasing her artwork in pretty much all corners of the house, patient & clear with communication, and has a few staff members who are responsible for the upkeep of the house. About the location, E-ricks(Toto) can be found right at the exit of the lane. In no time you would be getting down at Assi Ghat. In case you're booking a cruise (Alaknanda/Bhagirathi), this is a strategic location as the starting point of the cruise is at a walkable distance. Food options all around the main chauraha, Swiggy orders reach within 15-20 mins. Highly recommend this gem to all the guests out there. Definitely staying another time. Can't think of any.
• Vishal (10/5): Very peaceful and utterly cosy. Very posh locality, yet close to madness of ghats and galis. - It is a really trendy property. Amazing crafts all around. Breakfast is so enriched with mixed Indian and international delicacies. A new thing for Varanasi. Spell bounding hospitality.
• Юлия (10/5): Exceptional - I'm glad to had the experience of staying here, lovely place, more like an art gallery than a guest house. The interior is new, clean. Quiet location, no traffic noise.
