• Istvan (8/5): Clean, quiet, cosy w small-town neighborhood. - The room was clean and quiet, with everything needed for a short stay. Our hosts were very kind and wellcoming. Free parking on streat just front of the house. Missing room temperature control.

• Ivan (6/5): Mixed experience: nice apartment but several drawbacks - The apartment itself is nice and well looked after. The building is attractive and has a cosy outdoor patio, which gives a pleasant first impression. The room feels warm and comfortable, with a small kitchen and a cute mini-oven that are useful for simple meals. The bed is large, and having a washing machine is definitely a plus. The location is not central, so you need to take the underground to reach Cologne’s city centre, and public transport is quite expensive. Privacy is limited because you are essentially staying inside the owners’ house, and the windows face shared common spaces. When we arrived, we forgot to lock the patio door, and one of the owners knocked rather sharply on our window while we were having luch to warn us, which felt a bit uncomfortable. Although the bed is large, it is pushed against a corner, which makes it difficult for the person sleeping on that side to get in and out. The WiFi didn’t work at all during our stay, which is disappointing given the price per night. Several appliances are quite old, and overall the accommodation feels basic for what it costs. Guests should also be aware that there are cats in the house, and at night you need to be careful not to let them out when entering or leaving. In the morning, you can hear roosters and chickens in the patio, which some people may find charming, but it won’t suit everyone. Finally, although Booking labels the location as “excellent”, in reality it is far from the city centre and in a mainly residential neighbourhood.
• P.Bayer (9/5): Klein aber fein! - Die Wohnung war klein aber fein und sehr sauber. Die Gastgeberinnen waren sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Alles nötige für einen langen und kurzen Aufenthalt war vorhanden. Am Fernseher konnte man auch streamen! Das Bett war sehr bequem. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet. Gerne komme ich wieder. Sehr wenig Licht in der Dusche. Erdgeschoß mit Fenster zur Seitenstraße, dadurch etwas laut. Falls man sehr groß ist, könnte die niedrige Decke unangenehm sein.

• Wouter (10/5): Amazingly central cost getaway from home - Cleanliness, the apartment itself how old it was. The proximity tot the metro and that it had a little garden in the back. Also the water and biscuits that were provided were a very nice addition. The owner giving us tips of what Christmas market to go to was also amazing The shower and the especially the shower curtain, it was very clean but a wet cold piece of fabric is not my thing.

They provided us with some great local restaurant recommendations and information about which Christmas markets to visit. My husband and I want to visit Cologne again and we plan to come back to this apartment. Nothing
