• Donna (9/5): Lovely property in a beautiful location - Well located near the centre of Katoomba, this cottage has had a recent and lovely renovation. It has everything you need for a self contained stay, including washer/dryer. The comms from the hosts were excellent & access was easy. Fabulous morning views over the valley. The west facing sliding doors could use a more substantial blind/curtain to keep the sun/heat out in the afternoon.

• Fabrizio (8/5): - Het uitzicht was prachtig. De kaketoes zaten ‘s morgens gewoon op het terras! Slechts 1 handdoek per persoon voor 3 dagen was wat weinig. Maar vraag bij de host werden er toch extra handdoeken ter beschikking gesteld! Eén van de dubbele bedden was van mindere kwaliteit. WC in de badkamer: met 6 personen soms een probleem.

The view from the verandah is great, good also to connect sound via Sonos on the TV. Really appreciated being able to bring my dog. The net curtains were only resting on their brackets and fell off, they couldn’t be pulled open.

• Jessica (10/5): Exceptional - Our family of five stayed at Megalong Valley Cottage for 2 nights and we absolutely enjoyed our time here. The view of the valley is amazing, especially as the sun is setting. The cottage itself was exceptionally clean, tidy and welcoming, with all basic necessities. The hosts were super quick to answer a question I had and were extremely lovely to deal with. We wouldn’t hesitate to book here again on our next stay in the mountains!

The place was clean and comfortable and we had an awesome stay. Bed was comfortable, entertaining living area and fully equipped kitchen are amongst some but the best thing was the balcony with the most awesome view of the canyon

Had an enjoyable stay Reverse cycle heater doesn't really work, only slightly blows out warm air eventually, needs repairing. Little gass heater warmed living area well but bedrooms cold.

• Caroline (8/5): Beautiful mountain views - This is such a lovely cottage with a fabulous view and friendly hosts. There were generous touches, such as the Aesop products in the bathroom and the Tim Tam's in the fridge which just added to the welcoming vibe. It is a small cottage for 6, it was fine for the glorious weather we had, but would have felt cramped if we'd been stuck in poor weather.

My husband left his glasses there accidentally and TingTing was kind enough to drop it off in my letterbox on her way back from blue mountains - on the same day! No complaints!
• Seraphim (10/5): Luxurious and Comfortable Stay - The accommodation was well-furnished with good appliances such as the coffee machine and milk frother. We also appreciated the electric blanket at our beds. The accommodation was clean and spacious. We enjoyed watching netflix over several nights. On the overall, it was a good and luxurious stay. It would be good if there could be paper towels or tissues in the house. Also, more than 1 dish towel and oven mitt would be great!
• Mathew (9/5): Superb - Nothing better than watching the sun set into the mountains on a property that backs onto the National Park. Very accomodating to pets and little ones (cot and infant chair provided). Communication with hosts excellent.

A really special place to stay. - It’s very rare that a property lives up to the promise of the pictures but this cottage blew the pictures out of the water. The location is outstanding. The view is unbelievable. There was nothing that the property didn’t have (except for a tea towel - but I probably just didn’t look hard enough). The rooms were comfortable (individual electric blankets - it’s winter - it’s chilly) the kitchen was brilliantly equipped, the garden was lovely and the bathrooms had the most gorgeous toiletries. Honestly can’t recommend this enough. The drive is steep - but it’s the mountains. What do you expect.

Unfortunately my husband and I really struggled with the bed being quite soft and my in-laws were quite cold throughout the night sleeping. If the blankets in winter could be a little thicker for warmth would be wonderful and a couple extra hand towels 😊

Very quiet calming sounds from garden. 2 to 5 minutes drive from aquatic centre, town centre and views. Very well presented and modernised home. Nothing.
