Guest Reviews
- Tracy (10/5): Peaceful and quirky - The summer house is a peaceful retreat and has an amazing view. All of the facilities are well considered with quirky touches and hand built kitchen. This is such a comfortable stay and our 2nd visit. We watched deer, foxes, barn owl and other wildlife at play. No light pollution so sitting out at night looking at the stars was amazing.
A very convenient location for days out, but situated in a quiet, pretty village.
- Jacqui (1/5): - Nothing Totally false advertising

- Jackie (8/5): A peaceful retreat to escape from the hustle of a busy life! - We loved the privacy and the view. I was worried that it may be cold but it was lovely and cosy! The size of the oven was very small and could do with a hook in the bathroom to hang a towel etc. We were taken aback by the exterior of the summer house as this was not shown on the photos, but don’t be put off by this as it’s tastefully decorated inside! I purposely didn’t take slippers as it was explained that guest slippers were supplied which was not the case!

- Olga (10/5): Stunning views and friendly hosts - The property was perfect for a quiet weekend stay in the countryside. The views were wonderful. We got to watch some stunning sunsets from the deck and through the bedroom windows. The bedroom overlooks local fields, so one gets to hear birds singing in the morning and evening, which was lovely. The communication with the hosts was very friendly and prompt, which was much appreciated. The summer house had everything we needed.
- Yvonne (9/5): Superb -
- Astuart13 (8/5): Excellent, cosy stay with brilliant rural views. - The host, Rosie, was very friendly and lovely. She came out to meet us as we arrived.
Scenery and location was perfect! Quite and serene, at the bottom of a long garden, overlooking large fields with hay bales. It looked like a screensaver! Close to great areas like castle combe.
The sunset!
Small, cosy summer house with nice decoration and excellent views.
Surrounded by nature so great for bird and bat watching. WiFi was very weak unfortunately, which was an issue as I was working on my laptop for much of my stay. But this did not take away from the great experience!
Minor thing, but the taps (although fine once you figure them out) take some getting used to and were quite flimsy. One or two near-scolded hands. Some cobwebs present around the windows and ceilings also.
- Mary (9/5): Superb - Incredibly peaceful location, amazing food at the local pub in walking distance. Can’t recommend enough :)
- Steve (1/5): Such a disappointment - Noyhing Everything
- Jack (5/5): was a nice night away, just feel like it hadn’t been cleaned properly - bed was comfy and the view was amazing there was an ants nest at the front door, the plates had a dead cockroach on them and spider webs inside the cupboards
- Danielle (10/5): Perfect stay - The summer house is gorgeous and in such a peaceful location. It is looked after and maintained well and is cosy. Rosie has been so helpful with any enquiries I’ve had and contact has always been prompt and friendly. We are already intent on coming back to Wiltshire and we know we’ll be staying here again. N/a
