- Albert (1/5): Complete horror! - Only one good thing is location. My recent family leisure trip to London was completely ruined by a shockingly substandard property located at 151–161 Kensington High Street, London, Unit #404. The listing for this so-called “penthouse” is grossly misleading and does not reflect the actual condition of the unit. The property was old, filthy, and in serious disrepair — a far cry from the polished photos shown on .
There were water stains and leaks in the ceiling, stained carpets, cracked and dirty walls, and — most critically — a completely non-functional air conditioning system. With temperatures in London reaching 28°C, this made our stay unbearable, especially at night.
To make matters worse, the advertised wireless Wi-Fi did not work at all during our stay, making it even harder to stay connected, access information, or reach out for help.
I contacted the property manager (as listed on yplatform) and was assured the A/C would be fixed the next day. That never happened. No one showed up, and all further attempts to reach them were ignored.
The water pressure in the bathrooms was extremely weak, and the water temperature fluctuated wildly — going from scalding hot to freezing cold in seconds — making showers both uncomfortable and unsafe. Additionally, the toilets and shower drains appeared to be partially clogged, causing backups and foul odors that made the bathrooms almost unusable.
The entire situation was a logistical nightmare and deeply distressing.
On top of all this, the property was not stocked with basic supplies: no soap, no shampoo, insufficient towels, dirty linens, and stained pillows. It was simply a rundown, neglected unit that should never be listed — certainly not as a “luxury penthouse.”

The flat has AC which is rare enough in London to be mentioned The flat need a proper refresh and more importantly some plumbing work, the water pressure is really low
- Brown (6/5): Penthouse - Location very good well presented accommodation Didn't like commutation regarding key was very poor needs a lot of work fixed example shower head ground floor bath needs repaired pressure on showers blind living room drawers broken bedside lights broken.
