Guest Reviews
- Penelope (9/5): This compact, clean accommodation suited my needs perfectly. - The hosts are very kind and helpful, and efficient with the transport to the airport. A nice compact accommodation very close to the airport. I would have liked an extra blanket, as I'm sensitive to noise of the heat pump.
- Ngaere Anne (10/5): Clean, comfortable and warm. - Host answered my phone straight away. Host left little lollies with our towels. Accommodation is comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay here again when I want to be near airport. The heating had been turned on before we arrived so lovely and warm when we arrived late.
- Yoann (8/5): -

- Serean (10/5): Great if you need a place to stay before or after a flight - Close to the airport, easy to find, everything nice and modern and clean
- Tammy (8/5): Well located, cozy wee place. - Very cozy and had great kitchen facilities for a small unit. Worked very well for us as a family of 4 with parking provided.
- Samantha (10/5): Just needed somewhere to put our heads down for the night. Quaint tiny home that has everything you need. - Clean, handy for the airport and very comfortable. Nothing we will definately stay again.
- Sterin (8/5): -
- Thang (9/5): -
- Mark (8/5): Perfect location - Location is prefect close to the airport
- Ruth (9/5): Comfortable - Location ideal
- Rhona Marie (9/5): -
- Christopher (8/5): - Clean and was great for my stay 👍🏼 thank you
- Jasna (10/5): Comfort, short and sweet. - How modern and clean the propert was. Also we arrived in late and the owners had made up the spare bed for us already! We were very impressed.
Great kitchen with all you need. We were very impressed, no negatives.
- Annette (10/5): -
- Kerri (10/5): - It is small but had everything we needed for a few hours sleep
- Peter (9/5): A convenient stay, close to airport and city. - Clean, comfortable, with ample parking space. Convenient proximity to the airport and easy access to the city. Set back on a property off a quiet street. Ample facilities are provided in the kitchenette. Considering the compact size of the tiny house, the bathroom felt surprisingly roomy. There were no issues, and we did not find anything we did not like about the property.
- Darren (10/5): -
- Soorin (10/5): - 작은 공간을 깔끔하고 활용도 높게 꾸몄다
- Whittaker (9/5): Great wee place, easy to find, well setup and friendly host - Great for our stay. Perfect accommodation Bathroom was smaller, not really an issue
- Serena (10/5): Our New Best Rest - This has got to be our new favourite place to stay.
We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. It was like a 5-star place.
Everything was thought of. Thank you That we had to leave for the airport so early and that I never managed to pet the pretty kitty we saw in the driveway when we arrived.
- Matthew (10/5): - This was tiny as stated in the title so it was expected, but the cleanliness and thoughtfulness if the host to have hair dryer and milk for coffee was AMAZING after getting in to Christchurch at 2300 at night. Great close location to airport that was easy drive for us first time left hand side of the road drivers. We are a family of 4 with 2 teens and it was a great first night to stay and regroup for our trip! Thank you!
- Latesha (9/5): Perfect for overnight stay - Great for one night. We stayed just to sleep while at sports tournament. Has a decent mini fridge that had a good sized freezer for the chilly bin ice packs required for next day. Host must be commended on the amount that’s fits into such a tiny space - a really great asset to the hosts property. Bathroom is tight to get changed in. But there is a curtain divider between bed and lounge if you needed a bigger space. Having to strip beds, wash all dishes and take out rubbish etc was a push for an early morning departure so allow time to sort it all out.
- Léa (10/5): Très bon séjour - Très propre, fonctionnel pas très grand mais on a beaucoup aimé Assez loin de l’aéroport .. 10 min en voiture
- Blair (8/5): No problems, economical, clean and fresh. Unfortunately I left my wig stand in the room, would it be possible to collec - Convenient position for us Having your own bathroom
- Cheryl (10/5): Absolutely fabulous - Late flight in and this place was perfect - a few minutes taxi ride from airport. Owner needs to be commended on how successfully everything you need is fitted into a tiny space. Super clean and comfortable. Great overnighter 👍 0
- Linda (10/5): - Close to town and the airport.
- Pauline (9/5): Very nice stay - It was really convenient, less than 10mn away from the airport. The house feels very new you have everything you need. The heater was perfect as it was quite cold during our stay. With the weather we had during our stay (lot of rain and storms) the humidity gets inside quite fast on all windows.
- Hardy (10/5): Exceptional place for a stop over to/from the airport or a base to explore Christchurch. -
- Wiley (10/5): Will be back. - Liked the dimmer light. Good hosts. Exactly what i needed for a night to catch the flight. Will be back. NA
- Cara (10/5): Everything you need in a compact but still spacious wee home - Lovely modern, clean wee home with everything I needed.
- Carol (10/5): -
- SHI (10/5): -
- Melinda (8/5): - So quiet! Really good amount of space for me, everything is needed.
- Jung정 (10/5): - 좁지만 완벽히 구비된 시설. 없음.
- David (10/5): - Very clean tidy and modern
- Jessica Rangiaho (8/5): sleepout!!! - it's was cosy The Tiny Home....well it was just a sleepout portercom on someone's front yard ...like so close to their front doorstep was a bit awkward really 😳
- Ellen (10/5): Great value got money, excellent accommodation, very comfortable, clean and well equipped! - We just needed somewhere to stay before flying out of Christchurch the next morning. We were expecting small and basic, which was all we needed, but this property was extremely excellent value for money!! Perfect for me and my son before our flight back to the UK. We didn't need much for one night but the property has everything you would need (kitchen equipment etc). If you were staying a long time, you might find it small, but no smaller than a good hotel room! Everything was ready for our arrival, communication with host was great, and check in and out was straight forward and easy. The location is a quiet street and we felt very safe, and yet only a few minutes drive to airport! We were so pleased to have found this value for money gem!
- Susan (9/5): great -

- Jason (8/5): -
- mark lloric (7/5): -
- Andrew (9/5): Tiny but mighty? - Tidy, clean good for a one night stay and close enough to the airport Didn't quite realise when we booked that it was in the backyard of someone's property but even so it was fairly private although we only stayed for 14 hours
- Perera (10/5): - Good arrangement Nothing
- Bianca (7/5): Really good value for money, but its indeed a tiny house. - Very nice for 2 pax max
- Harshana (10/5): - Small tiny place. Value for money.
Location is close to airport
- Joy (8/5): We had a comfortable staycation - Modern and accessible Internet was bit slow
- Justine (8/5): Excellent will stop again. Thank you. - Quietness, comfortable, cuteness, exactly what we needed for one night. It was very hot day, the unit was very warm. So a couple of outside chairs to sit out would of top the whole experience. But nothing else great little pad.
Thankyou...
- Darryl (8/5): -
- Fipe (10/5): It was perfect -
- Federico (1/5): Not acceptible - A prefabricated/shed/shack which I did not even enter. Not what advertised as and a deceiving name
- Stephen (9/5): -
- Bell (8/5): Low rates waerecounterbalanced by how much we had to pay on taxis. - Kitchen provisions were good
Beds very comfortable Needed Information about local buses, shops etc
No local places of interest for exploration
- Sindy (8/5): Over all the tiny house was good for the price we were charged. Lovely and cute place. - We didn’t expect it to be so small but for 3 adults it was ok.
It was nice and clean, it had everything we needed, plenty of sleeping equipment, pillows could have been better quality otherwise everything was good. Outside rubbish bins were full as so we had to leave our rubbish stacked nicely inside the van I did send notice of this so they weren’t left inside for long.
- Juan (10/5): -
- Tanya (10/5): - I just needed somewhere for one night as my daughters had a sport event on - 5 mins away. It was just perfect for us and highly recommend.
- Juan (10/5): -
- Alefaio (10/5): -
- Diane (10/5): was very short due to cancelled flight to akl - everything we needed
- Parani (10/5): Very Nice and Clean. Felt right at home. Although it was just a small sleepout, it had everything we needed. Very comfy - Very Nice and Clean. Felt right at home.
- Lloyd (8/5): Perfect location and accommodation for our needs. Thank you! -
- Adrian (9/5): -
- Pip (10/5): -
- Marcella (7/5): Comfortable , clean & ok for one night. Great for one person or a couple. - Comfortable & well equipped. It is a Tiny Home so it is very compact. Bathroom basin too small to wash face over without wetting floor.
- Chave (10/5): -
- Alex (10/5): -
- Peet (7/5): -
- Erin (10/5): Exceptional - Impeccably clean
Very quiet and warm
Just what we needed Can't think of anything - I would definitely stay here again
- Tomasz (8/5): Very good -
- Rudolph (9/5): Superb -
- Deney (9/5): I recently stayed at the Christchurch Airport Tiny House and overall had a good experience. The tiny house is well-equip - Clean and near to airport The double decker bed is low headroom
- Len (9/5): Superb -
- Rachel (9/5): Ideal accomodation for my son and I for where we needed to be in Christchurch. Clean and tidy. - Location was ideal. We were there for a gymnastics comp in Wigram so it was nice and close. We only had one night there so the facilities suited us perfectly. I couldn't find bedding for the sofa bed, so I took bedding off the top bunk which didn't quite fit. The instructions mentioned more bedding but I couldn't find it. A floor lamp for night time reading when sleeping on the sofa bed could be useful.
- Jeffrey (7/5): Tiny doesn't mean uncomfortable - Very comfortable, warm and cozy.
Perfect distance from the airport. Shower and toilet space is very small
- Mary (8/5): Functional, reasonably priced. - I Arrived and departed in dark and there was not enough light (from the outdoor security light) to view the numbers on the cylinder lock for the Lock Box.
Both on arrival and then on departure, I had to move my car and park on an angle to get enough headlight onto the Lock Box to see the numbers. Also, its the first and only place I've stayed in that required you to strip the bed linen from bed before leaving. Didn't like the double bed with bunk top, pushed up against the wall so access from only one side (especially when trying to pull sheets up to strip bed)
- Jolly_bolly (10/5): Perfect place for pre-flight stay - Small but really well equipped cabin in a lovely quiet residential area, near the racecourse and not far from the airport.
Very well thought out with everything we needed - milk, coffee and tea, kitchen equipment, microwave, shampoo and soap in the shower, plenty of towels and all spotlessly clean.
Joe is a brilliant host - even drove us to the airport for our flight. Nothing
- Chen (4/5): Disappointing - staff not answering phone and questions timely
- Hannah (10/5): Great clean and comfy stay close to airport. - Such a cosy little place! The beds super comfy, shower is 10/10. Easy check in and out. Great location close to airport. Nothing!
- Spencer (9/5): Superb - Great quiet location very handy to airport
- Peter (9/5): Great value with great facilities - Booking.com not co operative about error in booking wrong date
- Margaret (8/5): Great value for money option close to airport, very clean and well set up. - The tiny house was in a very good location for getting an uber to the airport, which was my main reason for choosing it. I liked that everything was clean. It was perfect for me, and I would imagine for a couple, but it would be very tight for four adults if you wanted to be there for very long during the day. I did feel a little awkward with the many reminders to be quiet,do this, dont do that. That made me feel a little unwelcome which was a shame.I guess some visitors need to have things spelt out.
- Kerry (9/5): Superb -
- Andrew (5/5): Passable - Cups still had coffee in some of them
- Tojo (9/5): Good -
- Gurdeep (4/5): Disappointed - Nothing much their about liking. Just it was tiny and clean It was not for group one room. And didn’t get what see in the pictures. Pay extra for extra person and still not any extra arrangements for that. So disappointing
- Maxwell (8/5): Relaxing - Lack of laundry facilities
- Bronwyn (10/5): Simple and a pleasant experience - Was a great location and a very nice little tiny house
- Sophia (9/5): Really cozy, nice & clean mini house near the airport. :) - Very clean & tidy. Cozy beds, nice shower with hot water, great kitchen, easy access & a heater for colder days. Easy instructions for checking out, etc.
Definitely a recommendation. :D Nothing
- Patricia (8/5): Convenient to the airport -
- Yan (7/5): Good -
- Gopireddy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jeanny (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shane (5/5): Passable -
- Jan (9/5): Superb - Close to airport & local shopping. Clean, comfortable with everything needed for an overnight stay. Highly recommend.
- Kelly (1/5): Bad -
- Elizabeth (8/5): Very good -
- Broomhall (6/5): Pleasant - Great set up, had everything that you need, but there were some issues. I slept on the sofa as the bed looked like it had been slept in. Pillow cases and sheets were creased. It would be good to state on your ad that the main house is only a couple of feet from the tiny house. A good little set up but no privacy.
- Judith (7/5): Convenient, spotlessly clean and TINY - UBER from airport NZ$26 I couldn't find the hair dryer
- Tim (8/5): Very good -
- Jhangho (3/5): This is remodeled car garage. - Near the Airport This is not normal accommodation. Looks like backpacker. $60 per night level.
