• Erik (6/5): - Silvia, de eigenaresse komt in goed Engels bij je op de lijn via WhatsApp en dat is heel handig. Ze legt je goed uit hoe je binnen kunt komen en heeft goede tips voor restaurants. De opgang naar het appartement, dat helemaal bovenaan zit (2de etage) is authentiek en ademt geschiedenis. Eenmaal binnen is wat je ziet op de foto’s ook hoe het in het echt is. Hoewel het bed voor de iets ouderen als wij zijn wat aan de lage kant is, ligt het lekker. Heerlijk geslapen. In het appartement staan twee ventilators en met de deuren open is het goed vol te houden qua temperatuur. In het keuken gedeelte staat een superfijne koelkast, een gasfornuis en een magnetron. Er komt nagenoeg geen water uit de douche. Daar valt door de eigenaresse niet veel aan te doen. Ook niet dat je de lucht van de spoelkeuken van het restaurant ruikt. Maar het geheel is ook niet schoon. De spinnenraggen mogen worden weggehaald. Voor een spinnenweb heb ik nog begrip, dat zit er bij wijze van binnen een half uur, maar oude spinnerag hoeft echt niet. De tafel in de woonkamer kan uitgeschoven worden, maar doe maar niet. Die is vanbinnen vies. Wijnglazen in de kast waren vies. Dit geldt overigens niet voor het beddengoed en de handdoeken, die waren wel schoon en fris. Er is geen extra wc papier, geen keukenrol, geen theedoek, het afwasmiddel was al aangelengd met water, de slaapbank in de kamer is doorgezakt. Afwerking van het geheel is slecht. Met uitzondering van de water druk is dit eigenlijk allemaal binnen een dag op te lossen. Als dat is gebeurd zou ik een acht of negen kunnen geven. Nu blijf ik toch steken bij een zes…
• Vincent (8/5): Très agréable pour un séjour en couple - La position de l'appartement est idéale. Au centre ville et à côté de la cathédrale San Lorenzo comme le nom l'indique. L'appartement est parfaitement propre. Silvia, l'hôte est charmante et très à l'écoute des clients. La douche ! Il n'y a pas de pression et c'est un mince filet d'eau avec lequel il faut se laver. J'ajouterais aussi quelques coussins supplémentaires dans les lits.

• Kim (10/5): We absolutely loved staying at the Historical Duomo apartment. Everything about it was perfect. Walking distance to all - The location was excellent, so central to everything. The tourism office was in the piazza next to the apartment. Absolutely nothing to say here.

• Pauline (10/5): Lovely apartment in an excellent location; live like a local! - The apartment was fantastic, excellent location near all the shops and restaurants, Silvia told us where we could park for free and we always got a space. The beds were comfortable with crisp linen, there were good quality towels and lots of room for the three of us. Coffee and tea were provided in the well equipped kitchen and there was a good sized table for meals. Silvia provided lots of information and was very responsive to questions. A great place to stay in Alba.

• James (10/5): We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Wonderful apartment in amazing Alba!!! - Wonderful apartment! Much larger than we thought, best location, and tastefully appointed. Hosts are very responsive. It was not a problem for us, but some might want ear plugs at night for any noise from the piazza.

Igor our host kept in contact before and during our visit to ensure all was well, which we appreciated very much. Alba is a beautiful place, in proximity to famous wine towns with amazing landscapes. More money to buy Barolo!
• Zofia (9/5): Superb - The apartament is spacious , beautifully furnished and comfortable, equipped with utensilis and everything you need to prepare breakfast or lunch. The location just in the heart of the Old Town , seems perfect until you want to go to sleep as all nightlife seems to concentrate down and near this flat.It's really noisy tiil 1-2am, so it's advisable to have earplugs!
