• Annamarie (6/5): Overall an acceptable experience, despite the few hick-ups which can easily be resolved / improved. - It is located near town centre and surrounded by a variety of good restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked with a good supply of cutlery and crockery. Appliances in good working order and clean. Bathroom was spacious and clean. Overall first impression was good - spacious area with lots of natural light. The heating was not working properly (and was turned off on arrival - middle of winter). It didn’t warm up the place sufficiently, resulting in a very cold and super uncomfortable night. The sofa bed couldn’t balance itself when flattened. The idea was for my partner and I to sleep on the couch and my elderly mother in the bedroom, but in the end, because the sofa couldn’t stay upright to be used as a bed, my mother had to sleep on it and was forced lay perfectly still (in one position) to prevent tipping over. Blinds/curtains don’t block out any light from outside, which is quite frustrating when one struggle to sleep “with the lights on”. The step into the apartment is wonky and certainly a safety risk for anyone, especially if you’re older - no handrails or anything similar to provide support as you step up high or down deep onto a wonky stone-like object.

• Darren (8/5): A very nice stay. Would highly recommend! - The hosts directions and information about the property were clear and concise. Parking on the street was easy. The apartment was a great location and was lovely and clean. We really enjoyed our stay. There was only one bath towel, and there was two of us. A cafetiere would have been nice to be able to make fresh ground coffee.

When we walked in we actually thought wed walked into the wrong apartment, the furniture in the photos was totally different they were all old ugly and dated not as advertised. The balcony was filthy regardless of the building works going on behind, different furniture no bamboo fencing or lights. No plant pots or plants in the apartment as shown in the pics. We messaged the host who refused to give us a discount or refund even though we didnt even end up staying at the apartment and it totally ruined our romantic anniversary weekend! Everything!

• Andrew (8/5): Nice property for a short stay - Excellent communication with hosts including how to collect key. Property very nice and well appointed, perfect for a short stay, excellent location for Poulton with good transport links for surrounding area Parking can be an issue but that can't be helped by the hosts. Entrance step a bit dangerous in my opinion. Would only suit a couple, not 4 people. Small bedside cabinet either side of bed would be good as there is room. I'm being a bit picky but there wasn't even a clean tea towel to dry up!!!

• kevin (8/5): - The ease of parking and access to the property, location to town centre restaurants and bars The noise in the morning, trains, road traffic and the building work going on next door. Not the hosts fault but thought i would mention it.

No bedding provided for bed settee, this needs to be requested beforehand apparently. The curtains in the living room are see through and not all windows have blinds so if you are sleeping on the bed settee be prepared for a sunrise wake up.

• Deilwen (8/5): Really convenient, and well presented property, would definitely recommend. - Well positioned to surrounding activities, quiet road and able to park outside facility. Quality of fittings and decor was excellent. Felt very homely. Steep staircase up to flat, could do with handrail to the upper part of stairs. The cover on the duvet could do with an upgrade, and supply of extra pillows would be an advantage.

Apartment had all you needed to cook for yourself and a number of pubs and restaurants in town 10 minutes walk away. Bed was a bit hard for me and another pillow would have been nice but that’s just my choice!

Everything was brilliant, a small thing was that the balcony didn't really look like the picture and was over looking a building area. It didn't change anything about our trip though .

The front door step needs attention. Although it's solid enough, it's still a distance from step to entrance.

• Ann (10/5): great flat - Arrived mid afternoon, parking is tight on the street but not impossible. Flat was really warm in arrival. Heating had been left on. Sofa is different to the one in the description & not as comfy, but suitable to sit & watch TV. I bought my tea from the cafe below which is very handy & great choice too I found the bed comfy & slept well. No noise. It's in a great location for work.. & I'll happily stay here again.
• Catherine (5/5): Passable - In Poulton so where we needed to be for a family occasion. It was really cold and attention to detail was lacking. We were given the wrong key code so got very wet trying to get the key (until we were rescued!). Outside front door is very shabby, and parking is difficult. Sofa bed is not the one pictured and tips up if you lie on one side. No linen left for the sofa bed - this was rectified when I made it known. Shower screen grubby and leaked.

Heating was excellent Advertised with parking, but it's just the busy street outside. The kitchen had no glasses at all .. No microwave covers and no cleaning products to ensure it was clean after use. There is a basket of coffee pods .. but no machine . which seems strange No extras like milk ready in the fridge, like other apartments previously booked, Went to clean around the bathroom on leaving after I'd bought some products from Aldi, and the toilet brush was disgusting..

• Doreen (10/5): Hidden Gem - This apartment is a hidden gem in the heart of Poulton. 5 minute walk to the shops and bars. We stayed there as we were attending a wedding in Poulton and the location was ideal as it was only 10 mins away from the church and 10 mins away from the venue. The apartment itself had everything we needed for a night's stay. It was comfortable, clean, had a small balcony off the bedroom which was ideal to sit out on in the morning with a brew. Quiet area too which was great. There wasn't anything not to like. The only thing I would suggest would be some cushions for the chairs on the balcony as they were a bit uncomfy to sit on. And perhaps some instructions on how to use the cooker hob which we did suss out eventually lol
• Roger (9/5): Pleasant stay - Location was great for us as we were attending a family Cremation and wake in the area and was within walking distance simple keysafe procedure I did ask for bedding for the bed settee but none supplied luckily 2 throws were available for use could be a little more attention to the cleaning as dirty marks on window frames coffee splash marks on kettle and coffee rings in mugs also although clean creased sheet on bed not a good look (think we watch too much 4 in a bed lol)
