- Gabriela (3/5): Je ne le recommande pas. Il y a des meilleurs hôtels à Arusha et dans les environs. - Le jardin. Le petit déjeuner. Mauvaise qualité des produits, immangeable. Pas d'eau disponible pour le petit déjeuner sauf en payant. Personnel pas accueillant. L'hôtel est assez vieux et pas trop entretenu. L'accès via une rue en très mauvais état n'est pas surprenant, vu l'état des voiries à Arusha. La salle de bain en mauvais état. La douche tombait en morceaux, on ne pouvait pas accrocher le pommeau de douche. Carreaux cassés et troués.

- Jochen (9/5): Quiet oasis at excellent price in Arusha! - We chose the Charity Hotel for our first night in Arusha as we were also staying there a few nights during our 10 days private Safari through a number of the most fascinating National Parks in Tanzania (organized by the wonderful Tanzania Pilgrimage Safaris). We had reserved one of the (huge) executive suites on the upper floor for this first night, and we got the same room free of surcharge each time we were back at the Charity during our Safari. Also, we could leave our excess baggage that wasn't needed during the safari (which, in turn, was part of a two month trip through eastern and southern Africa) - thanks again for that! The room was nice, if a bit aged, the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was buffet plus a-la-carte, and was served in the wonderful garden, where we also had a few very nice dinners. The price-performance ratio is simply unbelievable, and their garden restaurant and pool are a beautiful quiet oasis in otherwise rather hectic Arusha. Some better coat hangers would be a plus... Some of the furniture could use a little TLC.

Banking ma dve ceny s a bez raňajok príjazdová cesta je v katastrofálnom stave, budova vedľajšie časti z vonku tiež potrebujú lepšiu starostlivosť. - Naomi (8/5): Goed hotel op rustige plek. - Schone kamers. Warm water heerlijke douche en zalige bedden. Ik had kamer met zonnig balkon. De tuin is fijn. Rustige locatie. Veilig. Restaurant is goed. Er wordt vers gekookt door de koks. Ik ben overdag naar de stad gewandeld. Laat waardevolle spullen in het hotel. Met Google Maps aan lukt dat. De lokale markt is dichtbij en een kleurrijke belevenis. Voor deze prijs mag ik nergens over klagen.

- Katarzyna (9/5): Beautiful garden and view - There is a beautiful garden where you can chill but also eat your breakfast, lunch or dinner. The restaurant serves delicious food, you can order typical Tanzanian dishes. My room was located at the 4th floor, it had a balcony and there was a great view on the majestic Meru Mountain from there. The staff was kind and super helpful. We needed to leave the hotel before breakfast started and they prepared for us a take away box.

Nos guardaron la maleta durante lis días que estuvimos de safari y nos ayudaron con el transporte al aeropuerto. Nos prepararon el desayuno para poder llevárnoslo ya que salíamos muy temprano. Si vuelvo, me alojaré aquí seguramente. Todo estuvo bien, sin lujos pero bien.
- FERNANDO (7/5): - Le lit était plutôt confortable et le personnel très agréable. La situation géographique n’est pas idéale. Il n’y a pas grand chose autour de l’hôtel. Il faut prendre un taxi ou un bolt si besoin d’aller manger en dehors de l’hôtel.

- Jerzy (8/5): Spokjne i wewnątrz ładne miejsce,duży dziedziniec dobry na start safari,ładny ogród,czysto,obsługa+. - W cenie dobre i obfite śniadanie (stół szwedzki). Obiad wieczorem w dobrej cenie (na zamówienie). Bardzo ładny ogród wypoczynkowy. Jest to spokojna i ładna enklawa otoczona wysokim murem (za murem różnie). Obsługa bardzo miła i pomocna. Do centrum 3 do 5 km (trochę skomplikowane dojście na piechotę). Duży dziedziniec dobry na pakowanie i start na safari. Chcieliśmy pokój z balkonem, wybraliśmy z widokiem na góry i to był błąd. Wprawdzie widać Mount Meru (o ile w ogóle widać), ale w większości na slamsowate zabudowania w sąsiedztwie. Jedyna korzyść: mogliśmy dyskretnie suszyć rzeczy po safari na dużym balkonie. O wiele ładniejsze i przyjemniejsze są pokoje z balkonem z widokiem na bardzo ładny ogród. Bardzo kiepska dróżka dojazdowa ale blisko głównej drogi.

- Andreas (7/5): - Während unserer 4 Tägigen Safari konnten wir die Koffer abstellen. Der Garten war sehr schön. Das Frühstück war nicht so überzeugend. Das Personal war sehr bemüht aber hatte oft Schwierigkeiten mit Englisch.

I personally feel, though, that the room is too good to have such a small TV (21") Also, the shower holder in my room could not hold the showerhead in a good position to shower without having to hold it with my own hand as I shower.

- Estefanía (8/5): Hotel que destaca especialmente por el servicio de la recepción - El hotel ofrece una buena atención en su recepción. En nuestro caso contratamos una visita turística. La habitación no era demasiado grande pero estaba limpia y era cómoda. El desayuno me pareció bastante variado y todo lo que probé estaba bueno. El entorno del hotel daba un poco de miedo, pero no se correspondía en absoluto con las instalaciones del mismo. Al movernos en coche en todo momento no tuvimos ningún problema.

The bed was fantastically comfy, the bathroom was a bit of a weird set-up, but everything worked and was clean which is all you can ask for really! The only thing that could be better would be slightly newer towels and bath mats.

El personal es muy servicial y amable, la conexión a Internet nos funcionó muy bien, al contrario que en otros hoteles del país, y disfrutamos de una comida deliciosa en su jardín a muy buen precio. El desayuno incluido también era muy completo. El acceso al hotel es por una calle secundaria, con baches y sin asfaltar.

- Yussra Said (1/5): they will never value you as a customer like how they value their workers. even if it means they are theives. - it was fine until some of our money went missing after the cleaners cleaned our room. the stuff don’t really care for their customers a cleaner took my money instead of a manger to come and try solve the issue instead I was brought the suspected to help me. 8 hours later I decided to ask speaking to the manager when I found out he didn’t even know what was going on. he then promised to help but he never did he took my number and everything but they never contacted me to inform me anything. so I wouldn’t recommend anyone going there

El comedor tenía sus manteles sucios de la noche anterior y no fueron cambiados. Para tener agua en la ducha se debía llamar a recepción para que encendieran la bomba de agua de lo contrario no se podía bañar. Todo, en general, muy desprolijo. El ingreso a la zona del hotel es deplorable.

- Michael (7/5): - The beds were comfy, the room was good enough, still a bit dirty, most of the staff members were really nice with helpful service. The staff on order food and drinks took way too long as in waiting times from 1.3-2 hours. No communication about it all. That was pretty much the most huge let down of the place. This happened each time I ordered either dinner or lunch.

- Niels (8/5): Arusha break - A friendly reception. Room was clean and spacious. Staff were helpful and courteous. Lovely gardens. Everything one could expect from a good, three star hotel. Sign from main road could be renewed. We had a little difficulty locating the hotel initially.

Prettig verblijf in de nabijheid van de hoofdweg in rustige buurt. Comfortabele kamers in klassiek gebouw, o.m. met balkon. Prachtige tuin, waar je fijn kunt zitten. Ontbijt was relatief simpel, maar in orde inclusief eieren naar wens. Niets. Wij waren tevreden met de geleverde service.

Le restaurant est pratique pour le repas du midi ou soir. Le petit déjeuner est bien complet. Le lit est confortable. Le Wi-Fi est efficace. On a pu tester deux chambres et il y a parfois un problème avec l'eau dans la salle de bain.

Lo staff un po’ scortese, al nostro arrivo ci hanno obbligato a pagare in contanti nonostante avessimo chiesto più e più volte di pagare con la carta, cosa che alla ragazza che faceva il turno di notte invece ci ha fatto fare. Il bagno in condizioni pessime e la colazione non era buona. La cena non era neanche male ma abbiamo aspettato quasi un’ora e mezza prima di mangiare.

- Lee (10/5): Nice for a short stay - This is an older but well kept hotel in Arusha. We had some free time our first day and they arranged an excellent guide to take us around the city.
- Renuka (8/5): Good place to start and end up with your safari. - Breakfast is very good. Value for money. They provided us packed breakfast when we left early morning to the airport. Nothing. But I am little confused with the same property listed on Booking.com as two entities- Charity Hotel International and New Charity Hotel. Later came to know that both are the same...but different from rates.
