• Michel (1/5): Bad - We booked, arrived, and there was no booking. Luckily, there were 2 random rooms available. We paid the full amount for 2 rooms and 4 adults as indicated as normal rates on the Guesthouse website. We received 1 towel for each room (2x rooms, 4 adults) and half toilet roll. Our room: kettle/plugs did not work, bedlamps did not work, and we only had a trough on our bed (middle winter) The next day, they demand Booking.com price to be paid in. I asked if they could fix our room first. Luckily, they did, but we still didn't have a duvet for our bed, we had to sleep under a bed through for the 2nd night, and it was freezing. We did mind paying more (bookin.com price), but did not experienced 4 star accommodation. The Guesthouse is more than welcome to contact us if they still demand us to pay more than is advertised, but I feel we were not handled even a 1 star treatment

• Ian (4/5): Disappointed, this B&B is 4 star rated...I would give it a 2 star rating due to lack of upgrades - We had the omelettes which would have tasted better it there was FAR LESS salt..my wife could not finish her meal due to the saltiness !. The little bar fridge should be placed on a stand and not the floor 2. No tea, except Rooibos which we don't like and NO MILK just yucky Cremora . 3. The front door lock was very flimsy 4. No door separating the bedroom from the bathroom just a flimsy see through lace curtain 5 .Drawers and bathroom cabinet missing handles 6. Bedroom very old fashion and needs an upgrade 7. only 1 bath floor mat for use at shower and bath. 8. No bulb in bedside lamp 9. No curtains in bathroom as the passage light from units 10 and 11 shine brightly all night..hence poor sleeping condition....The bed however was comfortable and the duvet kept us warm
