• Larthia (10/5): - Non mi capita spesso di dare voti pieni nelle recensioni, ma in questo caso un 9 non sarebbe stato sufficiente. La struttura è esattamente come viene presentata, recentemente ristrutturata, pulita, ottimamente climatizzata, arredata con semplicità e gusto, con uno stile moderno e lineare ma al contempo rispettoso dei luoghi, con piccoli dettagli che ti fanno sentire “al mare” anche quando sei in camera. Ho dovuto modificare “in corsa” la data di arrivo a causa di uno sciopero dei treni, e il proprietario mi è venuto incontro per risolvere quello che poteva essere un grosso problema: ho così potuto “testare” due delle tre camere, trovandole egualmente accoglienti, luminose e confortevoli a dispetto del fatto che mancano quasi completamente di finestre. Proprietario molto gentile, cordiale e più in generale persona piacevole con cui avere a che fare, disponibile a risolvere piccoli intoppi anche con “intervento diretto”. L’acqua corrente, la cui fornitura in queste zone è a volte precaria, non è mai venuta a mancare. La piccola cucina ha tutto quello che può servire per prepararsi e consumare un pasto, e anche se non è prevista nel servizio la colazione, era presente una fornitura di caffè, zucchero, sale, olio, origano, insomma, gli essenziali. Molto gradita, e inclusa, una bottiglia di acqua da un litro nel frigo all’arrivo. Ultimo ma decisamente primo punto a stra-favore della struttura: la posizione. Sufficientemente vicina al centro, ma abbastanza distante da garantire il riposo notturno — ho soggiornato nella struttura ad inizio settembre, il borgo potrebbe essere più affollato ad agosto — e, soprattutto, vicinissima al mare, con alcune lingue di spiaggia libera, zona Spinazza, misto sabbia e scogli, ma proprio per questo ricchissimo di vita, con fondali meravigliosi e un’acqua così cristallina che basta chinare lo sguardo per osservarli. Come ho fatto presente al proprietario, il frigo tendeva ad essere un po’ rumoroso, fors’anche più evidente per via del silenzio della notte. Un piccolo dettaglio da migliorare.

• Stephanie (10/5): Modern, functional living in the centre of Marzamemi - Small but functional. My family of 4 fit well in this space. It is clean, and decorated well with a practical and clever use of space for the small size. The location is exceptional, steps away from cafes, stores, and restaurants as well as all the beaches. The host is kind, helpful and responsive. There was no window in this space, but the host pointed out there is a strong vent for air circulation.

• Marco (6/5): Bello pulito ma strettino - Nuovissima struttura, pulizia maniacale, personale fantastico Troppo piccola per 4 persone, non sapevamo dove mettere i bagagli, l’autoclave si sente troppo specialmente la notte e manca sicuramente una lavasciuga e una mensola in bagno perché non si sa dove poggiare le cose
• Liliana (4/5): Disappointing Stay – Too Humid, Noisy, and Uncomfortable - Great location, very close to restaurants and easy to get around. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a great experience at this apartment. The place had a strong humidity smell and very poor ventilation—there’s only a small window in the bathroom, and if you leave it open, mosquitoes come in. I got bitten badly the first night and had to buy cortisone cream because of the swelling. The apartment is very small, and it’s located right next to the road, so you can hear traffic and people talking during the night. The bed wasn’t comfortable and made a lot of noise, which didn’t help. But the worst part was an intermittent noise—possibly from the kitchen—that kept me awake. While the owner was very nice and friendly, I don’t think the apartment is worth the price or the experience. Sorry.
