• Mussa (1/5): Bad - We didn't like the place because it was extremely dirty and we canceled the booking and they promised a refund which they hadn't done anything as promised, they are not even answering or responding to us, they are making even Booking.com look bad, can you please intervene in this matter They are are very dishonest

Do not come here. place has great stock of utensils, glasses, I have ever seen ...but shocking how everything else pales to dilapidated and unkempt. Ngiphatheke Kabi!!! Almost everything No tissues No water on first day at nightause Chris the caretaker did not open the water somewhere... Next day the water is all cold...can't shower....cold 🥶 water ?? How honestly? When there is fully paid guests. No WIFI. NO WOFI NO WIFI! Not a big deal we hot spotted, we were on a working trip , but this is the first place I've visited that confirms on Bookings.com that there's no WiFi. Nothing to be proud of. Furniture is nice and antique. Curtains are donkey years old, and the place looks gothic interior wise. The beds all make a cracking sound , as if the mattresses are laid on card board box material. Now this is uncomfortable for a slight sleeper and should people be doing nocturnal behaviours, the other rooms won't be excused from the dual noise of the mattresses and the acts in motion. There's two donkeys and an ostrich on the yard. But that's all. Three access gates, all manual. In 2025!! Big No. Honestly do not understand how this place is still allowed to be on bookings.com. yet sadly it's a few things that need to be fixed...which kill the potential experience of the place. Ngisola ukuthi the owner of this place has focus elsewhere! This is not a great place to book if you are well exposed. The doors in the bedrooms don't close fully. Aircon- Zero Aircon! None of the rooms have Aircon... The grass from the gateway to the property and the mid strip of the drive way, is 2 meters long, uncut, unmanaged, . It's wild out here ... The road has tall grass in the middle strip ..again, no cares for your car, if it's low profile. I'm still flabagasyes about the fact that in a place like this , there was no one to check if the rooms were clean, if tissues and sanitary supplies were provided. When we asked for the tissues we were told we must call Bonga, who lives 1 and a half hours away. For tissue. My Xhosa friends would say nosiqhela ikaka shame.
• Lerato (6/5): My team loved every moment, we hiked, danced, played games , made noise and had a great time. - This property is a vintage styled home, need painting and some renovation just so it doesn’t feel like a haunted house. It’s a beautiful home and well taken care off. Clean and well put together, crisp white linen and extra blankets for those unplanned moments. It has lovely Antiques and signature pieces which may make one feels uneasy but until you settle in. You realise it has a lovely homely feel to it. My team and I were celebrating our year end. The property provided us enough room to be loud and playful without worrying. And the staff were amazing, Chris was such a great spot, super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend for group gathering. It provides all the privacy and beautiful views for those cool content creating moments The property needs paint and some renovations just to modernise it. And pool equipment was broken so we were left with a dirty pool..
• Noluthando (1/5): We didn't stay, we left a few minutes later and had to try find another place to stay. - When we arrived, the carpets were dirty very dusty so were the side lamps. The place felt deserted like no one has been there in years. We just didn't feel safe!
• Sibinda (1/5): Bad experience in reaching the destination as a start! - Nothing. We were lost forever! We got lost to reach the destination. The calls to the 'destination' with the 'receptionist' were not helpful either. The lack of signage led us into unmarked routes that seemed unused for ages. We regret ever embracing this service ever. You will never get a recommendation from us.
